I am a big fan of First Nation Canadian actors. I like all the characters and so far the story is good. Seems it will be a short first season. This kind of show would never get made in the U.S. so this is a nice treat.

This has now been cancelled. I was really invested in the story. Michael Sheen has been a delight to watch over these 2 seasons.
It’s official. Netflix has now renewed Manifest for a fourth and final season. Creator Jeff Rake announced it in a Twitter video. It will be a longer season with 20 episodes.
The final season will be split in 2 like Lucifer. I’m glad we will get a conclusion.
I’ll admit it looks pretty good but according to my daughter (a big SPN fan), John never started hunting until after his wife died…
It obviously has been retconned to fit whatever new narrative they will present. I’m not overly excited but I’ll give it a go.
George Lopez being in a DC movie is kinda crazy. DC movies are always more fun. I’m in for sure.
Daisy Haggard is a brilliant actor. If you like quirky, offbeat shows, this is worth checking out.
Its weird we had to wait for all the new seasons this year and now we are going to be bombarded with more new seasons. Not complaning. I just can’t keep up with everything(watching 40+ shows).
A number of cool action scene but with a lot of brutal killings. One time watch.
This is a really good family show. All the young actors do a great job. If you like timey whimey time travel, you’ll enjoy this one.
A lot better than it sounds on paper. The teens weren’t nearly as angsty as the ones you see in US productions of this sort and you get the sharp, witty dialogue of the Brits instead of snarky one-liners. Gets a thumbs-up from me.
I was able to watch 2 episodes and I was hooked. Will get some more in tonight.
Given how bad the reviews have been i am suprised i liked it as much as i did. Watching some of the old Indiana jones movies seem so dated so nice to see a newer one. I admit it was not perfect, but again, compared to what i have heard, i rather liked it. Give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Generally critic reviews are never favorable. You either like it or you don’t. Waiting to see in cinema. Not something you watch on your laptop.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. If you haven’t checked it out, I highly recommend it.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Bill Burr in this, shows he’s got talent as a serious actor.
I couldn’t put my finger on who it was till I read the comments. He was really good in this episode. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Like we all suspected, the writers on this show ran out of ideas a long time ago. I really hope to see most, if not all of the main actors on new shows. Time really flys by if you’re not paying attention.
Fantastic episode. Love the new dynamic. I like Sci-fi but very few shows are actually that(mostly melodrama in space). This is the best new Sci-fi of recent times.
Even if it doesn’t get renewed which I hope it does, everyone got some sort of resolution.
Decent premise but horrible execution. Acting was bad or maybe it was the cheesy dialogue that made the actors seem mediocre. Back in the day I probably would have suffered through this seeing that you had few choices, but given the abundance of great programming out there now I can’t see a reason to do so now.
Pilot episodes are usually done in a rush. Meaning very few times to rehearse. I was laughing at some of the actors because it was bad in many scenes but it was entertaining. You have to be able to overlook some things to be able to enjoy the show. I will keep watching unless it gets worse but I think it will improve.
I’m conflicted on this episode. I like the episode but it felt a bit sad. If you’re not one to pay attention to the elder characters, you wouldn’t know who these people were. I did enjoy the 70s dazed and confused setting. It did make for a somewhat fun episode.
What a terrific series! All the major aspects of production of this series are way above average. From the writing and directing down to the set design and wardrobe, heck even location, it all comes together in this intriguing time travel tale. The casting is perfect and the performances are all top notch, every major character played to professionally convincing perfection. But the icing on the cake with this series is the ending, that comes out of nowhere and completely satisfies. Kudos to the writers for that. And so glad they left an opening for expansion should the show ever return.
One of my favorite series. Such a clever premise. Proves Canada can make good tv! It’s a shame that we’ll never have any more new seasons.
I’m in the minority and don’t care but I thought this was a fantastic episode. It wasn’t overly done, just the right amount of musical-ness.
If you havent seen this yet, check it out. Can’t wait for season 5. One of my favorite shows!
Any one else tired of these kinda movies or am I the only one avengers like movies burnt out.
New show. Looks funny.
Its quirky/offbeat. Sometimes its serious, other times there are comedic overtones. I like all the characters. It came up on my new shows and I decided to watch it. Will keep watching for sure.
When you think you’ve seen it all… a graboid that craps out gold. Brilliant.
Man, I knew it would eventually happen but still surprising. There is very little dialogue in this episode. Rhea Seehorn sold every scene like her life depended on it. I’m feeling very anxious as to what her fate will be.
Some good news! A third season of the series was informally green-lit by January 2020 to allow it to be filmed back-to-back with the second season. It will start in 2023 and the 3rd season will be the final season.
It was announced a few months back that season 3 was happening. We will be seeing more familar faces.
Once you get over the typical cw tone(whiny teenagers), there is a good plot. All the young actors have good chemistry. I think this will only get better with time.
Favorite episode of the season. I missed Donna and Rachel. Glad to have them back!
Mads Mikkelsen(La Chriffre) is a brilliant actor and I very much enjoyed his role. I quote that film on a regular basis. For me, Casino Royale was a perfect Bond film. It left you satisfied but wanting more. Quantum of Solace was a very good follow up(I know most people dislike it but it gave Bond closure in a way and set him on his path).
Joe Gilgun started in Season 3 after Robert Sheehan (Nathan) left. Lots of people feel the same as you and stopped watching when they reshuffled the cast but I really enjoyed it. It’s worth giving it another go.
Joe Gilgun was in Misfits for the last 3 series. It did run of out steam at the end as many of the original characters were gone. This is par for the course with UK series.
Fun fact: The names of the last 2 episodes of this season mean, “Beginning” and “End,” respectively. I, too, wonder how Liz will go out. Will she disappear into the woodwork or is that gut wound she currently has fatal? I also wonder how the series will end. They’re down to 3 original cast members after Boone leaves and Spader’s character is supposed to be terminally ill. Run For Your Life managed 86 episodes over the course of 3 seasons from 1965 to 1968 and Ben Gazzara’s character was terminally ill from episode one and told he had 9-18 months to live! When the storytelling is good it’s easy for us to suspend our disbelief. But NBC eventually had enough and canned the show with the main character still very much alive. Hopefully this doesn’t degenerate like Two and 1/2 Men (2003-2015) did after they killed off Sheen’s character and stays as good as it’s been. They definitely need to start planning a satisfying ending now, though. NBC loves cancelling stuff. That it made it 9 seasons is kinda miraculous.
Liz will be around but not as a series regular. Her story will be concluded but she will still live. For sure another season, but supposedly producers want to finish at 10 seasons(who knows if this will happen)
I watched the whole thing at this point. I was not real impressed with the first episode, but gave it a chance, and really liked the second, but was right hooked by the third. there was one episode, won’t say which one, where the guy, Reese, pulled off some real Mac Bolan shyte, and I was real impressed with the way he did it.
Whole thing was really well done, and thinking that Pratt did an excellent job with this. Hoping that with the way they left it, they decide to bring the guy (Reese) back for another season, get him into some more trouble, but keep the writing as good as they did with the first season. If they can do that they will have something worth following.
Ending scene all but confirms ut, it will be back for at least 1 more season. Honestly, it might be renewed for 2 seasons.
sci-fi/fantacy and the commenters say its not believable………well derrrr
Its not that great of a premise but it’s entertaining. It will probably get axed but enjoy it for what it is.
This movie did EXACTLY what it was ‘spose to do! 😌🙏 Dear WB..please invest your time and energy on making “mature” comic book movies and take risks over profits about selecting producers and directors and WRITERS who KNOW the genre and can make dope movies! HUZZAH!!
This is why the non cw dc shows work. Producers just want to do whatever they want to do. Its about the characters and storylines. Much better for fans.
Yeah, saw the first one, wasn’t really all that sure, but gave it a chance, and was bored anyway, so watched the second one, and at that point it was just enough that I was willing to give it one more, but after that, the 3rd one had me. Still have one more to go, just have not had the time to get to it. Maybe tomorrow I will have a break at some point, maybe with dinner or something, get it in, wanting to see how it pans out. Hoping at this point they make more of these, now and again the British really do come up with some decent stuff.
The English are very creative and always create unique characters. So even if the plot was thin, it would still be very watchable.
I really enjoyed this one and would have never known about but you guys commented about 2.5 weeks ago. I can’t wait for season 2. It had an amazing soundtrack. All the actors killed it. I’m not a fan of stranger things so I won’t draw any comparisons.
I know people are watching this and seem to like it, 4 stars with 10 votes. Anyone care to weigh in on it’s merits or lack of? Thanks.
I’m watching it and I like it. Worth checking out. I don’t always vote.
Yeah, just got done reading about that a bit ago, right ticked me off, one of the few really decent shows on the tube now. Hoping someone picks this up, was really getting interesting, wanted another season at least, see how this panned out, was a few storylines in this that were going places.
Fox sucks big time! They literally cancel everything. Look at the current line up and its abysmal(nothing to watch). We’re going to be left with a big cliffhanger with no resolution. When the new season was annouced earlier this year with only 13 episodes, I had a sinking feeling…
I love the tension build up. I think we all knew it was coming. Julia Jones had to be the standout for this episode.
One of my all time favorite shows. What a great 5 year run.
