You should check out Mother, it’s his best film in my opinion https://www.primewire.li/movie/253228-watch-mother
I watched this and kept thinking it will get better but it didn’t. I couldn’t understand half of the English dialogue because of the horrible sound quality, the half that I did was atrocious. Also a good portion of it was in Spanish without subs. The action scenes were terribly choreographed. Shia did well with what he was given. The director, writers, and crew are to blame for this one.
If done right, this could have turned into a fun series.
SNL honors Betty White by airing her iconic Emmy-winning 2010 episode as host.
On New Years Day–Jan 01, 2022
One of my favorite episodes; thanks for the reminder. Take away the nostalgia and it is just downright funny, the entire cast was on top of their game. It boggles the mind if you take a second to realize that Betty White was a legend before most of us were born.
Classic. RIP Peter Bogdanovich. Another must-see is Paper Moon https://www.primewire.li/movie/154970-watch-paper-moon
I don’t understand all the hatred for this movie. For a low budget (not obviously) sci-fi, it is about as good as you can get. And it is a unique take on the ‘send someone to future to save the world’ trope. With some better dialogue/acting and a more cohesive storyline, this could have been great.
What a waste of a great premise. This movie takes itself way too seriously so all of the cheesy fun you might expect is non-existent. It’s just a very mediocre action flick. ‘Santa’ is a boring grumpy guy that keeps being referred to as fat despite the fact that he’s not. He gets shot at and he shoots back, that’s all you get. I was extremely disappointed as I was sure I would have at least a few laughs.
All over the place and went nowhere. I wish it didn’t keep me interested because I regret every second I spent watching this cornucopia of pointlessness.
Some hilarious moments but nowhere near the classic that the first was. I think this was made quickly and Sacha was just using the Borat format to get his point across before the election, and he did. So much of this was obviously staged and that was kind of annoying. Hey, my camera crew and I have no place to stay… WTF? At the same time those guys did seem legit but how could they be? I’d hire them for a Deliverance remake in a heartbeat. Bottom line, a must-see one time watch.
‘Child’s Play’ with extra cheese and gore. This is a fun movie for horror lovers. “Ta-da!” I’ve been looking for a way to watch this for quite a while, I don’t know if my request helped it arriving here but thank you uploaders either way.
What the what?! This is an absolutely fantastic film. It deserves an audience.
Pretty jaded view. when i was a kid this movie blew us all away. I rewatched it and it’s still awesome. I don’t agree with your Tim Burton equasion either, The Crow is not whimsical at all. Plus I for one celebrate my birthday every year. 27 was an awesome one and none of the guys was wearing flannel or eyeliner ;)
I like the movie people, I just have a another perspective on it. 3/5 stars is high marks for me
I have no idea what that last sentence is supposed to mean but I literally knew people that changed their ‘style’ from grunge to goth almost overnight because of this film.
A birthday is quite different than the anniversary of a movie, give it 3 years and buy the 16K commemorative edition along with much better movies like The Professional, Shawshank, Pulp Fiction, Shallow Grave, and Lion King that came out same year
I don’t think he intentionally ripped anybody off but aesthetically, the directors’ eyes for color are quite similar. Proyas wasn’t original was the point of that statement. Where is he now and who cares? ‘Dark City’ https://www.primewire.ag/movie/256945-watch-dark-city is even more visually inventive than this but no one talks about it today. If it was led by someone half as charismatic as Brandon, we might be especially if said person died while filming is a further point. Last point is that Proyas, while having a good eye, has no idea how to tell a story; he even ruined ‘I, Robot’ https://www.primewire.ag/movie/751425-watch-i-robot which is an adaptation of a compilation of 9 or 10 stories by one of the greatest Sci-Fi authors ever, Isaac Asimov.
“I watched 20 minutes and here is my judgment.” How moronic can you get? I like this movie; it’s silly, stupid and heartwarming.
A perfect cop from a 1980’s training film slowly turns into an actual person and has to come to grips with harsh reality. A strange and unique exploration into that man’s psyche. Not for everyone, perhaps almost no one but I loved it. I look forward to what writer/director Quinn Armstrong comes up with next.
Dick Wolf just keeps crankin’ them out. He’s a superstar.
He’s definitely a force of nature, I don’t think he actually does much currently other than use his name to make crazy money. No hate, he deserves it. I was in a band called ‘Wolf Dick’ and all our songs were summaries of Law & Order episodes. “You did it! You did it! She’s dead and ‘Nofrio tilted his head!”
I forgot how insane this is. Watching it again it is quite prophetic. Cronenberg is a genius (I don’t use that word lightly) that saw the future. Even if you are not a fan, with this and Videodrome, how can anyone disagree? Have to mention all of the incredible actors too. Highly recommended for lovers of the bizarre and perverse.
Zany film. At some points it seemed to be making fun of itself, at others taking itself too seriously, and some parts were downright nonsensical. It made me laugh though so it gets an extra star.
True love never dies. I guess it’s like spontaneously giving your beloved spouse of 47 years a rose or a pet rock or something, that old feeling just gushes out now and again.
This was mediocre to me. Very pretentious, especially the ending. I kept wondering why there were all these flashbacks of a random black family. The kid turns out to be Jesse Williams. I was supposed to know that? How does someone change races as they age? WTF? I don’t get all the praise for this guy, what has he done? Some crappy shows and a needless remake of Jacob’s Ladder? If you are looking for horror, I wouldn’t call it that. It is more of a thriller with a couple of kind of gory scenes.
I had an apostrophe and this movie is wonderful. Hadn’t seen it since it first came out and I wasn’t old enough to fully appreciate it then. Kinda bittersweet though thinking about Robin, RIP.
I liked it. It had great twists. Amy McAdam did a great job. I would have preferred to see more of Oldman, because I’m a huge fan of his since the mid 80s’. 4/5
I’m only aware of this because of Oldman too but knew he wouldn’t be in it much, having read the book. This is an Amy Adams showcase and I think she delivered in spades. I enjoyed this, wasn’t slow to me at all. For Hitchcock fans, this is not a remake of Rear Window but an adaptation of a terrific novel that was an homage to Hitch and the film.
OWAH! I just realized who John Lurie is! He is one of my favorite musicians I didn’t even connect the two, He is my ringtone right now on my phone! WHAT A TRIP!
He also did a great show called ‘Fishing with John’ in the early 90’s with fantastic guests like Tom Waits, Dennis Hopper, and Willem Dafoe. Check it out https://www.primewire.li/tv/89276-watch-fishing-with-john In the meantime I will check this out. Thanks for your comment.
Knowing the true story this was not very entertaining for me overall but the amazing CGI, heartstring tugs, and happy ending makes it a decent one-time view.
So funny! The image of Wile E. Coyote getting squashed like an accordion will keep me smiling all day. Kudos to the uploader for posting this gem.
I always feel bad for poor Wile E. and is it just me but the roadrunner is just an a-hole, right?
Decent but not worth the time. At least mine… Enjoyed the overall story but the time jumps are a bit annoying, what year is it? And where did that happen?… Hard to believe this really happened and how corrupt the medical industry really is. I knew it was but not to this degree… I truly think someone could get away with it today. If Dr. Oz, Phil or Drew was a surgeon and had a brain, they could easily.
I have a second diskectomy scheduled and this has me terrified.
Weird, disturbing, freaky. I like it! However, so far I did not like the 2nd episode. Dude got on my nerves crying and whining…
Yeah, ep2 was just annoying. That guy’s face with the constant grimace was too much, I can’t believe I sat through it.
Haven’t watched this yet but for anyone who is interested ‘The Current War’ is a pretty good depiction of the Edison/Westinghouse/Tesla electricity scandal. https://www.primewire.ag/movie/245592-watch-the-current-war I’ve been waiting for a good Tesla biopic and this doesn’t look like it will be but I’m curious so I will give it a chance.
I need some more gory comedy in my life. Anyway, Fun episode; Iggy Pop, Katey Sagal, Lee Arenberg and the Cryptkeeper. I wish there was something modern like this that was at least half as entertaining
My personal favorite is ‘State of Grace’ https://www.primewire.li/movie/225234-watch-state-of-grace Penn Vs Oldman rivals Hopper Vs Walker in ‘True Romance’ https://www.primewire.li/movie/238763-watch-true-romance
First episode after 9/11. Moving open for anyone that remembers and consistently funny throughout. Fans of Will Ferrell. Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph, Jimmy Fallon, Tracy Morgan, Amy Poehler, etc should enjoy seeing them in their formative years.
Tony Scott deserves some love too people, RIP. Tarantino wrote a great script but he did not direct this, Tony did. He is easily one of the best action directors of all time. Tarantino knew that and that is why he didn’t direct this himself. Stepping off the soapbox, this is one of my absolute favorites… “Sit down boy, grab yourself an eggroll. We got everything here from a diddle eyed Joe to a damned if I know.” What happened to Bronson Pinchot?
Vonnegut is my favorite author and this originally very short story has been retold a million times. Wiki has it wrong; it’s been done in all kinds of ways even in sitcoms and cartoons. That said, most got the gist right. This POS however varies wildly and who casted Samwise as ‘tall and handsome’ before he even had hair on his feet?
Thank you and everyone else. I shouldn’t have engaged, I normally don’t but his comment was so off the wall and out of the blue I got an urge and a surge and it’s outta control now. Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeahyeahyeahyeahyeahYeah!
Do not avoid, campy horror fans. This is a fun homage to the 80’s classics. Like most of those, the first 15 minutes or so are kind of boring but it picks up quickly. You have gore, cheesy humor, and horror icon Caroline Williams (Stretch from TX Chainsaw 2), what more could you want?
Cam quality is excellent as is most spotlights cam copies with limited interruptions and intrusions.
Unlike the 1978 film version of Agatha Cristie’s work this film takes a bit of time to delve deeper into the main character (Poirot) past and develops him into a more 3 dimensional persona, it even takes time to flesh out the other characters in succinct yet meaningful ways which enhances the enjoyment.
Good movie, watch it.
Still here? want more? ok…. This film does an excellent job of portraying the excesses of pre-war, post-economic crash, of the idle rich, quite immersive imo. Hinting at but not dwelling (overly) upon popular opinion and sentiments that prevailed at the time and sticking to telling a good story.
This is brilliant.
