Gayniggers from Outer Space (1992)
xerox 10 points 3 years ago.

The title is reference to Ed D.Wood film ‘gravediggers from outerspace’ and follows suit in his works of B movie , this film is very subjective in its quality I’m sure it has a meaning which isn’t to hard to fathom but deciding if its a good or bad film is harder, the humour with things like ‘holy asses’ and horrific and hilarious effects for me added to its charm. 3/5 but be warned this is very much a HARD B movie.

1 - More crotch shots of 11 year olds than I can count on my fingers
2 - A child has water splashed on her butt as she dances
3 - A scene involving an adult showing sexual interest
4 - A scene of a child hurriedly pulling down her jeans and panties to take a crotch picture

Honestly, I could go on, but since you’ve watched the film and enjoyed it
enough to defend it maybe you can enlighten me on your favourite scene?

LOL. Why would RIGGERS want to make way for an entirely-homosexual society ?

xerox 7 points 3 years ago.

Rigger was is term from shipping , person who hauls lifts ‘tugs’ roping of the ship. A industry at time who was synonymous with liberation including sexual.

While more modern use of the word rigger rigging is a person who engages in bondage, using ropes to lift and suspend someone.

Though the correct title is ‘gayniggers from outerspace’ which once again is a reference to a the film ‘gravediggers from outerspace’ .

Hi,just in case you don’t remember in the book itself children are taught with erotic games and have their minds programmed to be hyper sexual via mind control and torture, the book itself does describe orgies. Sex IS used as a foundation for their society.

4/5 Reminds me of little miss sunshine only with a lot more drama.
Okay so this isn’t my normal type of film, only watched due to the controversy and its a good film, decent acting.

I am not the target audience, namely I am not a female child but….The dubbing is horrific and some of the dialogue ‘ yo, you be buggin girl’ lol.

Exploring sexuality , copying celebrities seems normal now days. Im surprised this got so much media attention. I liked that it imitation of music videos but using the kids you see direct effects those music videos have on young minds.

Some of the scenes are heart breaking, the girls adoration of the cool kids felt very real, she wants their life, their power.
She wants to escape her life and her future as her mother.

The twerking scenes and I know this isn’t what you’ll want to hear but I found them funny in an awkward way
so bit that is actually troubling is the adult who does sexualise them ( security guard ) as they themselves are largely unaware of their own sexuality and its effects on others.

If your looking to be offended skip into like 1:00:00 mark, just to save you time.

The scene in the mosque is damned powerful and alien and scary, two cultures meeting and clashing. The point after the mother brings in the ( I think he was a) Imam direction of entire film changes.
The Niqab wedding wife and the ghost bit is funny, nice recall to earlier chat she had with her younger brother.

3.5/5 I liked it, but…the entire plot ( the main concept ) is kinda from an episode of dr who with everyone on earth thought or spoke about dr at the same time to save the day. But other than that I enjoyed this, honestly not as good as original but still fun.

The MASSIVE plot holes in this really annoyed me and stopped me enjoying it. (EG the nihilists want to stop reincarnation, but it is they who have the de-throwner technology. The egg location was painfully obvious, the entire egg thing made no sense. )

Its an okay movie but stopping for a fraction of moment of thought spoils it 3/10

The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (1969)
xerox 4 points 3 years ago.

Highly enjoyable, innocent fun with a nice moral narrative, the style is dated, the effects are hilariously dated to say the least but it only adds to the charm. #
The cast staring ‘snake’ Russel is a cherubed faced teen here far from his high kicking, skull smashing later stardom . 4/5

S.N. It was nice to see some Duchamp art in a Disney film.

The Iron Lady (2011)
darklighter1 2 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Why would they ever show a bunch of scumbags celebrating arguably the second greatest PM in English history’s death? That’s morbid and lacks class. Most people consider her one of the greatest leaders of all time not to mention an achievement for womenkind and a model for future female leaders everywhere.

xerox 3 points 3 years ago.

Public consensus on her was really rather harsh.

I believe the persons celebrating her death actually rocketed ‘Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead’ into first place for single sales.

It does seem to encapsulate public perception of her really rather well, and given reaction Jon Q held to government spending on the art work depiction of her which was mirrored in several presses seemed to well…Yes.

Throughout film it states and I am paraphrasing so you will have to forgive me that ‘people may not like her but people in future will remember her for good she did for the nation’ Which seemingly doesn’t ring true.

And utterly S.N. here but at time and even now she was ahem largely considered a traitor and loathed by feminists then and now on the whole.

Revolver (2005)
xerox 3 points 3 years ago.

War between subconscious desires and ones own ego, prize knowing oneself and becoming more. This film is unlike the other films featuring this array of actors or director, this film is psychological driven story of Ego, Id and battle to know oneself and improve rather than being driven by base animal self, this is all undertaken in realm of the ‘Gangsta’ Gambler and conman here used to represent various guises of inner being.

Overall I enjoy this film though I can understand why cerebral film that borrows notions from mysticism psychology etc did not have mass success.

Climax (2018)
xerox 3 points 3 years ago.

I enjoyed the dancing, and music however the story is terrible ( reminds me of some nightmare anecdote ‘that happened to their friends cousins’ a naive person would tell you when discussing drugs ). I expected better from this persons.

Its shock value, story and visuals compared to this directors others work is disappointing.

The Fifth Element (1997)
xerox 3 points 3 years ago.

A film that invites to not to only enjoy but enter and see its world, the clothing, culture, to smallest details, society we see here is so finely crafted , the plot so immersive and enjoyable that I have always considered this film to be seminal example of its genre and one of my personal favourites.

John Dies at the End (2013)

I wont lie, I saw this film and subsequently read the book. I greatly enjoyed this film and its often one I would recommend if asked for a random film suggestion fittings its genre. Directed by seminal Coscarelli behind the phantasm series, I would and do recommend this film as a light hearted enjoyable way to waste some time.

The Woman (2011)

I really enjoyed this, I am surprised there are no comments or reviews.
Good movie 4/5. Nice acting, conveyed by single look. The woman who was being ‘civilized’, taught social conventions that is itself designed without morality at its core but perception was interesting.
In every animal there is a human and in every human there is animal.

Save Yourselves! (2020)

The ending is them being trapped, the ‘thing’ was activated by them using their phone it then removed them from the planet for the poofs to take the planet over.

Im guessing its some metaphor for sedentary creature that just consumes and does not create or actually do anything which I presume is a metaphor for us and our dependency on meaningless distractions and has no direction in life.

Over all I really enjoyed this movie and can see how the target audience could easily relate.

There are a few academic works also that focus or talk about the subject, honestly some very interesting stuff.

Cuties (2020)
elb11 10 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I did watch the whole movie, I’m a mama and a grandma, that being said, it was mostly sad and heartbreaking to me because you see a preteen girl adjusting to adolescence under extraordinary circumstances, new home, no friends yet, family dynamics changing unwillingly and all the while trying to still be a good daughter/sister. It was hard to watch some of the actions she took but sadly its what the majority of girls her age and even boys that age go through every day. If you’re an adult now you’ve been through it too, it’s called HORMONES! But it’s also what they see every day, it’s on TV, music videos, video games, movies, celebrities, older siblings, parents, other family members, friends, at school, on the streets, in everyday life sadly and especially the MEDIA.

Was this childporn? Not in my opinion, was it too risque for the age of the actors, yes in my opinion. But unless you live in a dark colored bubble this type of thing happens all around us all day long sadly.

I drove a school bus for many years in a very rural, small town and the middle school kids were the worse kids to deal with, the things I would have to break up or write up or report about was ridiculous and why, because they are going through that horrible age when all they want to do is grow up fast, do what the adults are doing, explore all the new feelings and urges that are racing through their bodies as they adjust from being children to being teenagers etc (been there, done that).

If you read the info about the movie in depth as I did before watching it you’d see the author was speaking from what she went through and trying to bring awareness to
and for parents about what their kids are most likely experiencing so that maybe the parents will be more attentive to their kids, in this day and age of every one having access to the internet and having a TV or computer/video games babysit their kids, which is in almost 80% of the households nowadays.

Did it need “may contain adult material warning” probably not in my opinion because everything that was shown was what you see on most local broadcast tv channels. These girls are actors, the main character’s actor was 14 yrs old, the others were the same or younger, would I personally let my daughter at that age play that part, nope, but that’s how I was raised and how I raised my daughter, but their parents may have other ways of dealing with things, do I agree with their decision, nope, but wasn’t mine to make. Would I want to see my 2 granddaughters acting like these girls did, no way, but sadly just because you raise them a certain way doesn’t mean they will always act that way.

Pedophillia is a real thing sadly and I for one do not feel it is normal, no way, no shape or how, so the best we can do is teach our kids right from wrong and what to be aware of, keep a vigilant awareness of them and their surroundings, and hopefully your kids won’t ever feel the need to reach out to strangers for love, reassurance or feeling of self worth. If you’re an adult and you watched this movie and felt sexual stirrings of any kind, that’s not a good thing in my opinion. If you watched it and felt outrage and disgust, well that could mean different things too in my opinion. If you watched it and felt sadness and were heartbroken then you are the writers audience, because you will be the one to be more aware and try to make a difference for your kids growing up, again my opinion.

The dubbing was horrible truthfully, and I have to have subtitles since I don’t hear as well as I’d like so that made it even worse with the outdated terms and lingo they were using for the English language dubbing. The videography was normal looking to me but like it was done from the ‘90s. The culture differences were very apparent in their geography/language compared to what I’m use to in the USA, and yes somewhat shocking as to what the “Auntie” did with “Shaman” but it may be normal in their culture.

If you don’t watch it you shouldn’t comment on it. We ALL have different opinions on what we like or don’t like, that’s whats called being individuals. I don’t like horror, gore or scary movies yet I’m not trying to get them removed, I just don’t watch them, simple as that. I thank the uploaders for their work, otherwise we couldn’t watch all the stuff we watch. But a lot of people are jumping on a bandwagon they don’t or won’t try to understand the true meaning behind before deciding to destroy it, and that’s not right. If you think this film is bad you should watch the movie named KIDS from 1995, it’s on here look it up, its from USA, New York no less, and see how those kids act, it’s another semi-biography of the lives of more preteens at risk following them for like a few days. It will open your eyes to what’s out there and you will hopefully watch out for your kids better.

‘ding dong’. Wonderful performance and highly enjoyable film that focuses largely on personal relationships rather than career. 4/5

Many familiar faces fill the cast and carry it well, overall stellar performances, the moments of lost memory are heart wrenching and superbly acted.
I found some of the audio effects unbearable at times eg hushed echoing of her children pleading.
Cinematography largely muted dullard tones seemingly catching a nostalgia of older cinema.

Thatcher (ignoring my own stance) undeniably polarised the nation, I myself knew some who vastly gained from her reign, while others, many others suffered.
Film seems to gloss over some of more interesting points, wherein her persona of iron lady was created is underplayed as a point but she carried this scene remarkably well ( but underplays her role in being first politician to create a persona , PR consultants and truly changed political game) .
The film does wonders to soften the ‘iron’ yet I struggle to forget the celebrations upon her death, understanding the reasoning yet saddened for her family and friends.
I found myself easily sympathising someone who was commonly compared to Hitler, the ravages and fragility of age are horrible.

The ending, I was honestly annoyed that it did not show the celebrations of her death, public opinion of her at the time and the ‘ding dong’

Ok, first never seen this show before, I’m not american so this type of ‘news-entertainment’ is weird thing.

Is this news or is this not news, I realise news is largely no longer objective but still, guy needs to talk less.

Bland tanned man with quaffed hair and the brow of a chimp stares in seeming faux perplexed constipation.

Segments really seem to drag on with the casual banter, talking to me ( the viewer ) like were friends is just kinda tacky, weird rich dude stop chatting to me in that condescending way.

Is his hair real? He needs a moustache.

The never ending waving neon coloured flag and banner at the bottom of the screen are irritating. I do not need to know what channel this is on, nor which nation it comes from and I can hear what you are saying you do not need to write it down also. Waste so much of the screen.

2/5 meh not really funny and the information seemed its faster to digest a paper format in the time it took to watch that.
