Evil Dead Rise (2023)

So any reviews on this? Heard it’s amazing, violent and a great carnage but the trailer seems ‘meh’.

The Exorcist: Believer (2023)
Unknown Freak 1 points 1 year ago.

I bet anything they will (unfortunately) turn this into a PG13 Netflix series.

The Exorcist (1973)
yellow_rose1 2 points 4 years ago.

this must be a directors cut as there are scenes in this copy I’ve never seen before and I’ve watch this many a time. Although it has been many years

Unknown Freak 2 points 1 year ago.

There are 2 versions: The theatrical version and the ‘version you have never seen before’…which includes the famous staircase scene, extended opening and a few more.

Cop & ½ (1993)

A fun afternoon movie when you have nothing else to do.

Tommy Tricker and the Stamp Traveller (1988)
Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago.

Which I could see this one again! Used to love this film so much when I was younger.

World's Funniest Animals (2020)
Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago.

Better go to that popular video website everyone knows. And just type funny animals videos. This is a fail

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (2005)
RoboPhone 2 points 4 years ago*.

Remake of the acclaimed Cult Classic 1920 Silent horror film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, which uses green screen effects and actual footage from the 1920 film to pay homage to the original, while enhancing the story with Audio dialogue.

Watch the Trailer HERE.

After comparison to the German original, it’s hard to not relish both equally for their efforts. Judge for yourself.

Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

It looks like they attempted to recreate an exact shot to shot remake of the original. Looks interesting, we need to get a link here one day.

Rabid Grannies (1988)
Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago.

If you like hilarious gore fest flicks, this one is for you!

Cannibal Holocaust (1980)

Thank you! :D

The Prowler (1981)
Unknown Freak 1 points 3 years ago.

Nothing new, same formula as many other slashers of that time. Not much gore or epic kills, it’s quite slow paced but it works.

Blood Quantum (2020)
Pad Solo 0 points 3 years ago.

Dude i actually never thought about laying down lines to trip up zombies…. mf just ruined the Apocalypse. i wanted an excuse to shoot stuff.

Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

laying down lines to trip up zombies was a first. It was pretty primitive, but it surely did the job.

Monster Hunter (2020)
Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

These are pretty big files for ‘cam’ quality.

Psycho Goreman (2020)
Unknown Freak 1 points 3 years ago.

Can’t wait to see this

Creepshow (1982)
Unknown Freak 1 points 3 years ago.

That was one of my favorite films as a kid! That’s what I used to rent when I was 10-12. Lots of creepy fun. A classic of my youth.

Ash vs Evil Dead (2015)
Unknown Freak -4 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

(this is only my opinion-if anyone enjoyed this series, I’m glad for them)

Ash’s goofs and silliness was fun and original in the 3 previous films. It made those films what they are today! This series is an exaggeration of all that. I found it pretty dumb and pointless at times. I hardly connected with any of the characters and Ash truly annoyed me at times. A huge let down and disappointment (in my opinion). Ash coming back to the cabin was fun and nostalgic, but that’s pretty much it.
Not into the whole Ash VS Evil dead at all. Too ridiculous and dumb for me.

The Haunting (1999)
Unknown Freak 1 points 3 years ago.

A ghost story taking place at the very eerie and spooky Arlaxton Manor. Good characters, great story filled with spook, mystery and revelations. The mansion itself is enough to bring some chills. It’s an entertaining movie I enjoyed watching.

The Haunting (1999)
JennyFromBlockD 0 points 4 years ago.

Underrated on IMDB. Solid 7 movie with a great cast (Catherine Zeta Jones / Liam Neeson / Owen Wilson & Others)
Not sure what they expected from a ‘cheap scare’ sort of movie, but I digress. I enjoyed it; you probably will too if you haven’t seen it.

Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

I really liked it too.

Idle Hands (1999)
Unknown Freak -1 points 3 years ago.

More funny than scary. A feel good horror comedy making fun of some of the 80s horror slashers.
One of the best teenage horror films of that time!
Packed with comedy, chills and plenty of…Jessica alba!

The Amityville Horror (2005)
Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

I’m not gonna say this one is better or worse than the original. The original was and remains ‘the original’. But what I can say is Ryan Reynolds gives a pretty darn good performance as George Lutz. A serious side of him we rarely see.

Waiting... (2005)
Unknown Freak 3 points 3 years ago.

I worked in various restaurants when I was younger. From busboy to the dishwasher boy-I’ve seen some weird sh!t come and go. This is a pretty funny exaggeration of what truly happens in restaurants. From hitting on co-workers to spitting in plates…it has it all!

Mama (2013)
Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Much better than expected. I am not the biggest fan of paranormal movies, but this one truly caught my attention the whole time. 2 little sisters raised by a malevolent entity in a dark, abandoned cabin? That’s pretty fucked up!

Vincent (1982)
Alien 2 points 3 years ago.

ok thanks etim

Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago.

I have it. It was included as a bonus for a Nightmare before Christmas edition DVD. Just thought I’d post a review here since this is mostly about films. But yeah it’s on youtube if you want to watch it.

13 Eerie (2013)
Unknown Freak 1 points 3 years ago.

Great zombie movie. Awesome FX (for an independent low budget movie) and cast includes Brendan Fletcher, Jesse Moss and Katie Isabelle…all 3 from Ginger snaps! A fun ride of flesh eating mutants. A few flaws-not perfect, but I truly enjoyed it.

How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town (2016)
Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

Katharine Isabelle deserves better roles than this. She is a remarkable actress who acted in some of the best Canadian independent movies. Besides being ‘sexy’, This film is stupid, useless and pointless.

May (2003)
Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

A sad and depressing psychological horror movie about loneliness and rejection. it’s a little rough on the edges. A few things could have been better including the whole ‘doll’ thing that I was expecting something totally different. But overall a film I enjoyed. You feel really bad for May and almost sad for her at times.

*If Carrie and Patrick Bateman (American Psycho) would have a daughter together, that would be MAY!

Brainscan (1994)
Unknown Freak -1 points 3 years ago.

You can feel the character’s loneliness through the film. The video game makes him more and more repressed and deranged. It alters his mind and can’t tell what’s real and what’s not anymore.
A depressing, sad, mysterious film about murder, reality and fiction

Begotten (1991)
Unknown Freak -1 points 3 years ago.

God Killing Himself, Mother Earth and Son of Earth-Flesh on Bone are players in a myth of primal gore.
A B&W and no dialog very disturbing and hypnotizing film not for the faint of heart. It’s meant to repulse and shock the audience without having a clear idea of what is going on.

BEGOTTEN is a beautiful(wtf!?), artistic fake snuff film like no others.

Bad Boy Bubby (1994)
Unknown Freak 3 points 3 years ago.

A weird, psychological film about a mom and her son’s unhealthy relationship of sex, love, hate and murder.
You’ll feel claustrophobic, disgusted and will have mixed emotional feelings toward Bubby’s life and path of discovering the world on it’s own

Scream (1996)
Unknown Freak -1 points 3 years ago.

‘’What’s your favorite scary movie, Sidney?”
This is one of many cliché lines from a film (trilogy) paying homage to the best 80s slasher movies of all time with humor and goofs without being considered stupid.

Rampage (2010)
Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago.

Our world is sick, our ‘over crowded’ society is slowly collapsing from all the greed and lies from politics to religion. Bill Williamson (Brendan Fletcher) is an exaggeration of what needs to change in this world and how to take care of a problem yourself.
Violence is surely not the answer to our problems, but it does the trick in this film!
If you are having a bad day, watch RAMPAGE to release anger and tension from your everyday life, you won’t be disappointed

Nekromantik (2014)
Unknown Freak -1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

SICK AND GROSS.
The ‘Love for the dead’ takes a whole new meaning here for a young girl who fantasizes over rotten flesh and body parts. Her forensic BF brings home dead bodies for their own sexual pleasure. Rotten corpses already at an advance stage of decomposition. They are highly unstable and extremely deranged to a point where her Boyfriend commits suicide while jerking off.
Extremely graphic movie where you have to remind yourself that it’s just a film. You feel guilty for watching such disgusting and depressing movies, but can’t really take your eyes off the insane special effects of rotten flesh and ultra gore sequences making this film quite realistic.

Rare Exports (2010)
Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago.

A great independent foreign horror Christmas tale. This movie has become a Holiday tradition in my house.

Suspiria (1977)
Unknown Freak 1 points 3 years ago.

Visually striking. A masterpiece for the eyes and ears. This is the most haunting experience I have ever seen from any Italian horror films. I still have goosebumps while watching it.

The Iron Rose (1973)
Unknown Freak -1 points 3 years ago.

You either love or hate jean rollin movies. But whatever you may think, you have to agree on his originality and dream like sequences. The Iron Rose is a particular film where it almost feel unreal and dream-like. Like most other jean rollin movies this is very dark, eerie, gothic and the music is just beautiful.

Requiem for a Vampire (1971)
Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

The lack of story telling and dialog makes it a true Rollin movie. Eerie Castles, lesbianism and cemeteries are the 3 most important elements in most of his films. This is the first Jean Rollin movies I have seen and remains my favorite of all.

Female Vampire (1973)
Unknown Freak 1 points 3 years ago.

Erotic take of vampirism featuring the gorgeous Lina Romay (Jesse Franco’s sweet spot). erotic/exploitation soft horror.

Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979)
Unknown Freak 1 points 3 years ago.

An awesome remake. This has been a Halloween cult favorite of mine for years. The scenery, gothic setting and mesmerizing original score makes it a visually magnificent take on a golden age classic

St. Trinian's (2007)
Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

Much better and funnier than expected. These girls are B.A.D! A girl school filled with booze, crazy schemes and a sarcastic transgender principal looking for love.

Underworld (2003)
Unknown Freak -1 points 3 years ago.

The most beautiful, strong Vampire lead from any movies of this genre. She is sexy, badass and fierce! This film has what I love the most in horror movies; Vampires & Werewolves (lycans). They created a film that perfectly incorporate both species to make it as cool as possible. Yes, it has a Little use of CGI, but overall awesome FX with great action and horror.

Sucker Punch (2011)
Unknown Freak 3 points 3 years ago.

This is a kick ass all female lead action film! Beautiful girls who kick butts, what can we ask more? A great score with awesome FX.

Vampyres (1979)
Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago.

An interesting take on vampires. very different from what we are used to see in these kind of films. This one has NO fangs and it somehow works very well. It’s a ghost story, a vampire story…filled with eroticism and very ‘hot’ scenes.

Halloween II (1981)
Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago.

An awesome follow up to the original 1978 film. Super eerie, intense with great kills, same awesome music and a great dick warlock as Myers. Being almost entirely shot in an Hospital brings something creepy to this sequel. I watch it each year and it still gives me the creeps!

Prom Night (1980)
Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

Not the best slasher of all time. Very slow paced without major kills or ‘wow’ moments. Very dark at times, it’s hard to see what is going on in some scenes. I watched it, but very unlikely I’ll watch it again.

The Crow (1994)
Unknown Freak 4 points 3 years ago.

A classic never goes out of style! A beautiful dark film.

Aquaman (2018)
humanityforward2814 3 points 3 years ago.

Did you watch the movie? It showed him training and also showed him becoming aquaman.

Accurate points about the cgi though. They went way overboard.

Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago.

yeah for a few seconds only. Should have been much longer on his training and life.

Savage Weekend (1981)
Unknown Freak 0 points 3 years ago.

A personal favorite of mine! One of the films that started the slasher/exploitation genre. A good low budget slasher from the 70s!

Black Christmas (1974)
Unknown Freak 3 points 3 years ago.

An all female lead Holiday classic for the horror lovers! Original and incomparable to any other slashers of that time. A psychological chilling thriller without excessive blood or gore effects. It’s dark atmosphere through the film is the main highlight of it’s success!

Vampyr (1932)
Unknown Freak 2 points 3 years ago*.

WOW!
A dark, eerie and gothic tale of Vampire from the early days of Cinema.
Despite being shot in B&W, it’s Camera tricks and special effects make this early film a haunting movie experience and a underrated dark classic!

Caligula (1979)
Caligula (1979)
Unknown Freak -2 points 3 years ago.

It’s not a good film. This is an exaggeration of Caligula’s life based on his sexual desires. This is just Porn
