They seriously think we are stupid. British state media got the interview so that they could massage the story as best they could. The real interview should go to the prosecutor’s office, but anyone with two brain cells knows the surface to this story has still only been scratched.

A Gentleman in Moscow (2024)
Vigile 2 points 21 days ago.

I love Mac, but there is just no way Hollywood or the UK can depict events in Russia without dunking it in pure propaganda and sheer nonsense. Watch it for entertainment, but don’t imagine that it is anywhere close to real history.

Please Turn Over (1959)
Vigile 3 points 1 month ago.

This is a real hidden gem. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lead actress is easy on the eyes too.

One Life (2024)

Where are the Sir Nicky’s for Rafah now?

Hoffman (1970)
Vigile 1 points 2 months ago.

This film is a sleeper. It’s surprising it’s not better know. Super unique, quite creepy, and well written. Sellers was a master.

Irma la Douce (1963)
Vigile 4 points 2 months ago.

Severely underrated at 7.4. This film is a lot of fun and one of the treasures that Billy Wilder gave us all.

Assassins (2020)
Vigile -1 points 2 months ago.

Brought to you straight from the NED. If you believe it, they have a Xinjiang and a Syrian story to sell you too. It’s a real gas!

HMP Belmarsh: Evil Behind Bars (2024)
Vigile 5 points 3 months ago.

What’s evil is keeping Julian Assange there without due process or charge of any kind for years now.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves (2023)
Vigile 1 points 4 months ago.

Started off well, but just got weird and uninteresting about halfway through.

The Long Shadow (2023)
Vigile 2 points 6 months ago.

Well made series and interesting to watch. But my god were those cops morons.

George W. Bush: The 9/11 Interview (2011)
Vigile 7 points 6 months ago.

No one in the media will ever be allowed to ask this dimwit the hard questions; nor would he give a straight answer if they ever did, so what’s the point of such an interview?

Those who aren’t yet tired of the spin, give it a go. You won’t learn anything new, but it will keep the hamster wheel turning for you.

Dream with the Fishes (1997)
Vigile 2 points 7 months ago.

Beautiful film. It’s a hidden gem that most people have probably never heard of.

What's Up, Doc? (1972)
Vigile 2 points 8 months ago.

One of the funniest films ever made. Watch it.

Слуга народа (2015)

ok Oligarch :p

Vigile 1 points 2 years ago.

no, i’m not his puppet master, that would be Igor Kolomoisky.

Слуга народа (2015)

once a clown, always a clown.

Pam & Tommy (2022)
Vigile 4 points 2 years ago.

Too bad they portray Pam as such a dingbat. She is actually highly intelligent.

I Want You Back (2022)
Geogenesis 3 points 2 years ago.

I’m a simple man. I see Charlie Day’s name in the cast and I’ll watch it.

Vigile 3 points 2 years ago.

I’m probably a bit more complicated, but yeah.

House of Gucci (2021)
Vigile 2 points 2 years ago.

The first half was incredibly engaging and really deserved 8/10. The writing/story began to lag a bit in the second half. It’s overall still a good watch and it’s a shame they didn’t do a bit more editing and add more drama in the latter part of the film as it had potential of being a really great film.

The Cleaning Lady (2022)
Sal 1 points 2 years ago.

This show does not make much sense. The US has a severe shortage in medical employees, she could easily get a position anywhere despite being illegal.

Vigile 2 points 2 years ago.

It also has the most expensive, and one of the least efficient medical systems. Who would come to the US for HC unless they flew in on a Lear Jet and could buy the best of the best?

The Cleaning Lady (2022)
Vigile 5 points 2 years ago.

I like the idea, but the writing is just dumb. All major network television seems to target the lowest common denominator since Seinfeld went off the air.

Al Murray: Why Do the Brits Win Every War? (2021)
Vigile 3 points 2 years ago.

Glory days. Imagine if Germany talked about the 1940s as its glory days. Britain killed more people in places like Africa and India than the Germans did during the war.

1883 (2021)
Vigile 4 points 2 years ago.

This is going to kick #$%

The Princess and the Warrior (2000)
Vigile 2 points 2 years ago.

Watch this. Same director as Run, Lola, Run. Beautiful film.

Youth in Revolt (2010)
Vigile 2 points 2 years ago.

How is this only rated at a 6.5? I’d give it a 9. One of my favorite films.

Free Guy (2021)
Vigile 1 points 2 years ago.

An average movie measured against the 80s and 90s when movies were still fun. But in today’s environment where entertainment has taken a back seat, it is a stand out. Hopefully the trend starts again from here and movies start to become interesting again.

The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
Vigile 1 points 2 years ago.

Very scattered. It needed editing and more direction. I wish they hadn’t deviated from the Soprano style so much.

Muhammad Ali (2021)
Vigile 4 points 2 years ago.

I don’t believe Ken Burns can do justice to the man who stood his ground and did time rather than go kill people who never harmed him. Burns is the one who gave us the establishment look at Vietnam, while Ali bucked the establishment.

Hacks (2021)
Vigile 3 points 2 years ago*.

Watched the first episode. It’s my new favorite. What a great show! And it has Sweet Dee to boot.

I always loved Designing Women. Jean may have finally topped that.

The Whistle Blower (1987)
Vigile 1 points 2 years ago.

If it were now instead of 1986, he’d end up in Belmar or isolation in supermax. Whistleblowing that uncovers criminal action has been criminalized to the maximum degree in the UK and the land of the free.

What an amazing show. So bummed the season has already ended. Hope it gets renewed again.

Gold Rush: Our Race to Olympic Glory (2021)
Vigile 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Everyone of those athletes who puts on a gold will wonder the rest of their lives if they could have beaten the Russian, who was denied their opportunity to compete because of politics.

I won’t be watching this year. The integrity of the games have been compromised.

Big Timber (2020)
sobitthen 2 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

There is nothing wrong with cutting down trees if they are replanted.
I have done both, logged for few years, planted a few seasons, 1 area I planted has been harvested twice since I was a kid and is ready for a 3rd harvest. Better than building with imported product or plastics…

Vigile 2 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Have you ever cut down a 1000yo tree and built a toolshed with it? Because that’s what these guys are doing.

Big Timber (2020)
Vigile 3 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Disgusting series. These people should be in jail for environmental terrorism, not have their own show. What’s wrong with the world?

Putin, Russia and the West (2012)
Dpmiller3llc 0 points 2 years ago.

I disagree. The BBCs Russia/Putin content is significantly better overall than anything similar produced in the United States… in fact I would label the BBC vids “objective journalism” compared to almost anything over here. Watch this; https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=i5tWVlecz6g

That’s our FBI director. He’s essentially stating that Putin secretly videotaped in the situation in the video. And that’s a mild news report. Many have been much, much crazier and literally unbelievable

Vigile 0 points 2 years ago.

BBC may be more sophisticated in terms of production value and presentation than the US, but both countries have a stated campaign against Russia and in particular, Putin’s Russia. I live in Russia and can assure you what BBC reports and what is reality are in two different worlds.

Queen of the South (2016)
Vigile -2 points 2 years ago.

Been a fan but the plot line is going south quickly.

Nobody (2021)
WiseIQ -1 points 3 years ago.

Mindless cartoon violence no story line bad acting this was just a thrown together mess of a movie. Bob Odenkirk is great as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman but he really is nobody special in this movie 1.5/5

Vigile -1 points 3 years ago.

Agree. People must have low expectations these days as they keep churning out these mindless romps through tired uninspired scripts.

Nobody (2021)
Vigile -1 points 3 years ago.

After the special effects guys are paid, there is no money in the budget for writers.

The Defenders (1961)
Vigile 1 points 3 years ago.

Thanks uploader. I’ve never seen this before, but watched the first ep. It was well-written, acted and entertaining.

It’s also quite an education on the differences a couple of generations can make. If the PC police ever get wind of this series, whoa Nelly!

Joshua: Teenager vs. Superpower (2017)
Vigile -4 points 3 years ago.

Little NED terrorist is in jail where he belongs.

Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer (2013)
Vigile -2 points 3 years ago.

FYI for those who haven’t already made up their mind from someone who lives in Russia-

The video won’t tell you this, but the true story is they guys went into the national cathedral during a religious ceremony and started screaming blasphemies at the priests and parishioners. After getting arrested for disturbing the peace, which would happen in any country were someone to do this, they went back and re-recorded themselves screaming political and anti-Putin lyrics.

The claim then was that they were arrested in the church for political protest. Not true.

The Legend of 1900 (1998)
Vigile 2 points 3 years ago.

There hasn’t been a film of this caliber made in easily over 10 years. This is a sleeper that I think most have never heard of, but it’s one of the films everyone should see once in their lives.

The piano/storm scene is out of this world.

Coming 2 America (2021)
Vigile 6 points 3 years ago*.

Brought to you by the makers of Dumb and Dumber Too and Bill and Ted Face the Music, some guy not named John Landis, gives you a mental ma**erbatory walk down memory lane that leaves viewers asking: Why? Just why?

For Pete's Sake (1974)
Vigile 1 points 3 years ago.

Such a really great, hilarious, and unusual film. It’s a real sleeper hit. Watch it.

Snowfall (2017)
Vigile 1 points 3 years ago.

It’s back!!!

Son of a Rich (2019)
Vigile 0 points 3 years ago.

This movie is so funny and touching. Just entertaining all around and one that will stay with you. Highly recommended.

The Stand (2020)
Vigile 0 points 3 years ago.

Watch the original. This is a real stinker. They add nothing new and spend way too much time focusing on the more metaphysical aspects of the book, where the book at the original made that only a sub plot until the end.
