Damn what an ending now begins the long wait to the final episode of series one of this fantastic show.

Dark Matter (2024)
kerfy 2 points 19 hours ago.

Yeah, looks like a slow telling of a story with cliff hanger endings..i will wait for the season to be done before I watch any more.. feels like a long drawn out episode of the twilight zone.. kinda dissapointed already ..

greyfur 3 points 14 hours ago.

i liked the first one. Will watch the second one, that usually tells me a lot. Then I will follow your suggestion and wait for the rest of the season to come out and see what they did with it, and if they are going to re-up, complete it in one shot, or leave us all hanging and not renew. If they do that last, I probably wonā€™t bother with it anymore. Tired of them doing that with me, you get all that time invested in a show for nothing. But a complete story is another thing, or knowing it will be renewed is also good.

Dark Matter (2024)
kerfy 3 points 20 hours ago.

well done.. not a new concept, sure hope they get to tell a complete strory before it gets axed.. I watched the first episode, will watch the second, then i will wait till the last episode is out.. I hate investing time into a show that is good but never gets to finish the story, or is just a series of cliffhangers with no ending.. First episode is pretty good..

greyfur 2 points 20 hours ago.

That sounds like a good idea. I watched the first one, and agree. Might also look and see if they are going to make a second season, or if they are just going to drop it at the end of the first, or if at the very least will bring it to a conclusion with one season, rather then just making one season and leaving us hanging.

2 episodes then wait and see what happens. I like that idea. Enough to see if itā€™s worth it, but not enough to tick you off if they screw us overā€¦.againā€¦.

was good, but 6 episodes why not just make it an animated movie.

greyfur 1 points 4 days ago.

Yeah, they could have, and really should have, done this the same way they did the ā€˜Bad Batchā€™, was actually pretty good, and thinking if they did, and would have probably been a bit more of an expensive and expansive production, but would have caught on pretty fast.

Star Wars: Tales of the Empire (2024) S1 E3

This is pretty decent so far, little shorts, 10-15 minutes long each, but they are good little watches. Worth the time. Only 6 episodes I believe in the first season, so hope thatā€™s enough to get somewhere.

Lazeistheman2 1 points 13 days ago.

Typical Redbox filler movie. Cheezy enough to slightly enjoy and pass the time.

greyfur 1 points 13 days ago.

Read some of the comments in the IMDb, and seems there are a crapload of books about this agent MR-9, like 500 or more of them, kind of like Mac Bolan back in the day, the way they cranked them out, and a lot of people liked them, but it would seem that they had the funding and the actors to do it right, but just didnā€™t cut it. I was in it for MJW, always made good movies with great fightā€™s in them, but this time he just got used for his face and name I think in the movie, and had a small part in it. I stayed with it for as long as I could, but like you said, ā€˜to slightly enjoyā€¦ā€™.

Glad I saw your post, added it right fast to my ā€˜watchingā€™ list, so it will pop up in my list when it airs. Was just about to go there, as I was scrolling down the comments, to see if anyone else was going to say it. Was going to go with a Magnificent 7 knock off. Watched the first one, and liked it well enough, but watching the first part of the second one was just ā€˜Mehā€™, and quit partway through. Saw the ā€˜7ā€™ knockoff, and just gave up. Alex Rider (2020) S3 E8
greenguy86 1 points 1 month ago.

I think the author would want more seasons. There has already been talks about starting a new cast and reboot. The cast got noticeably older. If you remember the flashback scene. They were pretty young in the beginning.

greyfur 1 points 1 month ago.

I didnā€™t see anything about that, just that this was over after this season, but didnā€™t look too hard. What I did see what that despite that the fans really liked this last season, there seemed to be no real interest by the people that were producing this in continuing for another season.

I donā€™t think that the aging of the cast really had a lot to do with it, that was pretty much factored into the books, as far as I can tell, so was a part of the story, and they could just as well licked up where they left off, and betting the author has more in the series written that they could use.

I doubt that a re-boot with different people will be well received by the fans, but who knows? I never thought much about the power rangers, either, but look how well that turned out..šŸ¤¦

Alex Rider (2020) S3 E8
greenguy86 1 points 1 month ago.

Really amazing what they do production wise. This last season was on another level. Enjoyed it to the max.

greyfur 1 points 1 month ago.

So did I, ending was excellent! I really liked how the story progressed from season to season, never read the books, but have a feeling the author was pleased with the outcome for a change.

Alex Rider (2020) S3 E8
greyfur 1 points 1 month ago.

Just went and checked to see if there would be another season of this, but unfortunately, it looks like this will be the ending of this. They made a good end, and did leave it open to another season if someone else decides to pick it up, but itā€™s not looking good at the moment. Was a good ride while it lasted though, and enjoyed it for what it was. Third season was the best one for sure.

Alex Rider (2020) S3 E3
greyfur 1 points 1 month ago.

Sanp! This is getting good! Been following the series since it got started a while back, and the whole cast has grown up a bit, and the series has gotten better as they have, and the episodes as well as the seasons have been able to become a bit more mature and more complex as well on account of that.

This season so far has been the best one so far, as the stars are pretty much ā€˜grown upā€™ and able to get pout on their own and do things they would not have been able to do before, which makes the whole thing better.

Donā€™t think this makes this a spoiler saying that for anyone that has not watched. You can start watching with this season if you want, but really should start with the first one, then binge. But this is the best one so far, at least in my opinion.

as i recall it,the real problem was the durability of modern fuel, which splits after some years into its components and doesnt work anymore. Then, even hidden storages of trucks etc by the military doesnt help any longer.
Sure, you could try to organise fuel industry, but given the fact, that the survivers are selected by chance, not by IQā€¦its rather very optimistic.

the end of the comic is way better

True about gasoline, but if you have oil, and the know how, you can easily refine that into gas and diesel fuel. The production stuff is already in place, and there are books and stuff there for people to learn from, though youā€™re not wrong about the I.Q., so thereā€™s that.

greyfur 1 points 1 month ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Ya know, in truth, if enough people had survived, and that could have happened, there is no reason they could have not have built something like that back up with the right people and know how. bullets are easy. The rest are on military bases all over the place under lockdown and hid in storage all over the place if you know where to look. No one stopping you from ā€˜knowingā€™ where to look now.

Truth be told, I never read the comic, but read some stuff on it once, and from what I read, I think your probably right.
