I loved it! A post apocalypse Chappie, but done great! Very emotional ending
Time for my yearly Preacher binge, love this show!
Anyone who rewatches preacher yearly is someone I would buy a beer
The show’s not bad, but why is it that Every remake has to be almost the exact opposite of what it originally was. If there was white people there’s now black people, if there were men there’s now women, everybody’s trying to be politically correct and it’s ruining everything. This is a horrible time for this show to be coming on the with all of the problems that we are having with racism and the police. They’re making the police in this series look horrible, and making it so that nobody can or wants to trust them anymore. There is no police officer in the world that would treat a bunch of people no matter black or white the way that these officers were treating them. I also think that every single relationship so far in this series is completely and totally unbelievable. The acting is subpar and so far the story isn’t that great. I don’t know what they were thinking with this reboot, they should have done a spin-off instead.
The first 4400 was pretty politically correct and dealt with a lot of social issues
Episode 2 has 1 cool scene in it. Literally everything else is really slow and just not remarkable in any way.
4 episodes in, 6/10 (with potential to improve). If you completely disregard associating it with the book, Id say its getting better. Its basically its own unique show at this point and if you watch it with that frame of mind, its arguably a good show, so far.
o no not another what if ? lol
Injustice has been around long before the what if show, and both what if and elseworlds in the comics have been around for decades.
Disappointed so far in the first 2 episodes. Hopefully they course correct
Basic story but great action. Great acting by Mary Elizabeth as well. I enjoyed it
This is like a low budget drawn out “Arrival” type movie, in the sense that it is some sort of alien contact done in a high concept, artsy way, but this falls quite short. It has some good moments but many parts are way to drawn out. This would have worked great as a short film.
It was fun. A few good ideas, a few good set pieces. But also some of the supporting cast isnt that great at acting and there are some plotholes, but Mark Walbergh is in this so I dont think it was supposed to be high brow science fiction.
I enjoyed it for what it is.
its like a bad CW show.
So the ailens are human? That’s a cop out
You couldnt tell from the first scene that had the clearly human manufactured drones walking around and shooting people.
More social injustice that has been done to death. The rich, white, and entitled against the poor minority. But I’m SURE that things will be put right!
Imagine thinking the rich white entitled person is the hero
zombies having sex and making kids?
it takes a special kind of stupid to like this garbage
Genetically engineered smart zombies would probably have the instinct to try and reproduce. It was a special zombie created by science that started it all if you followed the plot. If its smart enough to wear a helmet its smart enough to want to bang. Makes sense to me
2030 A.D. Our calendars have not changed since Pope Gregory.
Thats actually incorrect. The common era is what non religious people have been using for a long time. Lookup CE in wikipedia
no z nation was bad in a good way this is just bad. zombies taking hostages and having kids? nah
This was pretty good, special effects were decent and the acting was good, the overall story was good, but it feels like a short film dragged out to a full movie. This would have worked great at like 20-30 minutes.
We have been waiting over a year for something new. Covid has killed a lot. I am hoping it has not killed our ability to recognize a waste of film. this was just bad writing. Captain America had a huge back story. However they told it and moved on with the story. That being said I will watch season 2 of this, if it is made. Only because I am invested in this. time was spent watching this I will never get back. But again Covid killed Hollywood. And right now this is the only thing we have new to watch. Now let us be honest this story chased its own tail through 8 episodes. It was so bad they psychoanalyzed the main actor just to make sure even the dumbest of us watchers understood it. And still failed to complete the backstory. 2/5 stars.
The backstory uses the same format as the CW show Arrow. Its continuously told alongside the present story.
This isnt a new format and I loved it personally. Having read the Jupiters Legacy comics I am really glad they stretched out the backstory and gave them a lot more character and personality before they got their powers.
Its honestly very well done
Okay so I just finished watching the entire series, and I will retract some of my earlier comments. The show after episode 3 did start to make a lot more sense with each episode explaining more and more of what was going on,(thank you greyfur) but because of that, it really seemed to make the entire series completely about explaining what it was getting up to. Hard to explain, but it’s not like I was watching a great show that I really enjoyed, but was watching something that was trying to teach me something to get to a point to where I understood it. Also love how people point out that you must be stupid to not understand certain things, actually it might be that I just have taste in movies and shows. 🤪 It’s okay for a one-time watch if you have nothing else to see, but it just really lacked that action…. drama…. just overall greatness, of a good hero series.
You must have been watching a different show if you thought it lacked action and drama
They look, sound and act like terrorest’s
Who specifically are you saying look like terrorists?
A much improved cut. But you can polish a turd all you want, it’s still a turd. Can’t help but to facepalm almost constantly through it. The dialogue, written by a child WTF? The acting, especially Affleck’s and he feels badly miscast. And Luthor? Appalling choice, doesn’t bode well. On top of that Leto, might just be the final nail in the coffin. What happened to thinking things through while writing and filming a movie? Seems increasingly rare nowadays. Well, the special effects were superb, so was the sound. Link 10 has AAC sound and very good video quality.
Dialog was excellent. Acting was excellent. Luthor was great. Leto was much much better than in suicide squad, total redemption imo.
YES Season 2 is out! One of the few animes I actually enjoy
You are saying what I said. Getting out is the correct choice. To complain about how you didn’t like it there is an insult to all of us who live below their spoiled royal behinds. And if you don’t like my opinion there is no need to attack me personally. I watch it and I like it. Oprah did a fine job of exposing her.
There was nothing to expose as she didn’t do anything wrong other than marry the person she loves and got in over her head, she left.
Please stop being toxic
I can see why this was delayed so much. Worth a watch just to see what all the fuss was about Id say, Its not terrible, they seemed to stumble across the finish line to an average watchable movie.
Not terrible. A nice low budget coming of age story about teens being teens on a school field trip.
What kind of name is Scroobius? Lol
A dope name. Look him up on youtube he does some rapping and spoken word stuff. I love him. I was super excited to hear he was in this
Okay its finally getting better. This is why I keep watching even if I think a show sucks. Sometimes I am surprised.
Average. Mostly social dynamics we’ve seen a bunch of times between different human factions in the walking dead. But its not terrible
Ok, but how long are you going to stick around?? Considering Batwoman is already on its 2nd season and has more than 20 eps aired, you’re just going to keep wasting your time watching something you know you don’t like?
I watched the entirety of Under the Dome and thought it was horrible, but it was a guilty pleasure of mine, i just wanted to see what they’d come up with each time, and every time it was a pleasant disappointment, same for The Strain, but you don’t seem to get any joy out of it.
You don’t have to keep watching, you already gave your opinion, start moving forwards.
was pretty good for the most part , nice , funny and sad in equal parts and then by the end descended into unintentional hilarious stupidity that left we wondering WTF I was watching
What do you mean by hilarious stupidity?
