There is a message here that’s much stronger than the movie quality and performances that will mostly go unnoticed, Rik was much more than he appeared on Screen.

Basically the same as river monsters so that is fine enough to watch.

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007)
Blueozzie -2 points 4 years ago.

I think im just more confused as to why you even bothered to write a serious review on a pirated movie site of a movie that has been out for 13 years… Everyone knows the in the name of the king series of movies are cheesy C grade low budget fun but no one cares, do you honestly think people scroll down to read comments on this site? They come here to watch pirated movies with 99% of people already knowing about the movie beforehand.
As i said i’m just confused as to why you reviewed it like it was lord of the rings or game of thrones.

РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ -3 points 4 years ago.

How are you confused, it is just in the mind, be aware you are not your thoughts therefor confusion does not truly exist.

Well from my perspective at least one had to scroll on comments to get to the position we are in now in reply mode :) A pirate movie site makes not a single difference to how my mind comments from one thing to another and none or all read a comment it is the same difference, none of which is of importance, just the flow of social traffic has minimal interest for me but again that is unexpected happenings of no real importance or anything I say, it is just words typed to a screen from my body but not from me :) enjoy the weekend.

Most Wanted (1997)

Nothing exciting and a bit predictable for me but fine for one watch.

An Evening with Robin Williams (1983)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ -1 points 4 years ago.

Never been a fan of Williams, but I did find him a funny guy perhaps more in his movies than his live stand up shows from my preference, one of few that can make laughter from little more than a few words or faces to the situation.

5th Passenger (2017)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

Visually at times this looks passable even good at times and it was a surprise to see a few Trek cast in the start credits, however some very bad camera “effects” and bad script writing along with some poor acting dominated this movie, and the end was not for me.

Probably not worth one watch but it got one out of me, take Russ out of this and I probably would not have made it the whole distance.

Becoming Nobody (2019)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ -2 points 4 years ago.

Pretty good documentary

titled becoming nobody and google involved, when googles possible future of us involves becoming nobody once we agree to their CPU hook-ups, and I can see google even saying similar to what was in this to make their fake awareness channel sound appealing to the masses, most probably a harmless documentary in itself, but the google alarm-bells are sounding somewhat here, at least for me they are.
generally decent watching though.

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007)
Blueozzie -2 points 4 years ago.

Brah it was a low budget C movie, what do you expect lord of the rings?

РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ -2 points 4 years ago.

Odd enough in the end up to 80% of the story had to be changed apparently because it was too similar to Lord Of The Rings :) and a budget according to some of 60 odd million in 2007 compared only 7 years prior to Snatch one of Statham’s best roles where the budget was only around 6-10 million and both are leagues apart from one another on quality of acting and entertainment, but then that is just how I view these things, since seeing that during the vast majority of Jason’s action scenes in this film her was apparently nursing an injured tendon so he had an excuse at least for some of his bad performance.
And one other thing that was interesting to read that Uwe sponsored a charity visit to the set and the proceeds went to a hospital or something, respect to to Uwe for that but this film was poor.
Not sure if that is an answer looked for but ? responded to :)

Psycho (1998)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

This was not a good film, leaps and bounds from being anything close to the quality of the original version.

The Three Musketeers (1993)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

This is fairly good watching as I like most the material/media around the three Musketeers.

Vampire in Brooklyn (1995)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

Not a great film but one of Eddie Murphy’s I like.

Twins (1988)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

I still somewhat enjoy this, typical film of it’s kind, some of the comedy has not aged well and the cheesy acting is what is was for quite a few films back then, although I will always prefer cheese over wood(acting) :)
On the other hand the small drama part of the story is good one and outshines the comedy and crime aspects they gave priority towards, DeVito and Schwarzenegger worked well on screen, one of those films in my opinion without those popular few faces on screen to balance the weak areas, I would not watch this more than once albeit a good story in places.

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ -3 points 4 years ago.

While some acting like John Rhys-Davies and a few unknown faces to me were at times passable for this kind of film, even a few performances better than the lead cast, the rest of the performances were awful, heck this was so bad Jason Statham looked almost like a lead actor for once, most the cast seemed to not care all that much, to points where they just seemed completely out of place in this film.

Action while good at times just reminds viewers of better movies they could of been watching, a Dungeon siege tale but a few hobbits away from being something else but a very bad version of without so few qualities here. Also, Statham particularly is just too wooden when it comes to fighting action in this one, he either did not train very hard or is just not very convincing here, nothing much natural looking with fighting from Jason, you can see how staged it is, I know it is a movie thus fake, but fighting should not be so obvious looking of how setup it looks on screen.

Considering some of the names on show here and the inspiration for this to exist, this is not only a huge disappointment in relation to being inspired from a fairly good game series, story is uninspired and plods along rather all too familiar here, just done much worse…watched once, not again

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This one doesn’t quite have that level of wonder as the first two films and no matter the genre mix or level of performances, I get easily bored with all films and show episodes that pay some focus to time travelling, on screen it just plays out unworkable on all imaginable levels, here especially as how can one be in the future first to then save your past self so that you have to then repeat it all over again in that future once it is there, and then repeat again and again etc, that concept never wows me.
Great film still, just lost a tiny bit of the magic here and there in my personal view.

Men of Honor (2000)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

Not a film I liked back in the day however this is a rather good movie, one of Cuba’s better roles and De Niro played a sound role too, lovely conclusion.

Ruthless People (1986)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 2 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Good comedy for its day and still getting a few laughs out of me, I used to think those speaker systems were really boss looking, still do however my memory of those speakers in this film is not the same….no one was blown anywhere from noise alone :)

Itsy Bitsy (2019)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

Title and cover picture intrigued me, I like spider themed films and something different to what is usually on screen after humans, but this was a bit of a let down for me, spider CGI was not great in my opinion and the acting was just OK at the best of times, worth one watch.

Event Horizon (1997)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

A few weak moments but this was pretty decent, some watchers may enjoy this a little more as some scenes remind those of Dead space moments, more than one occasion you think, wait did Dead Space copy that.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

Not quite the feat of the first film in my opinion, but plenty to still enjoy and this is a very good sequel considering the first adventure afoot.

The Pagemaster (1994)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 2 points 4 years ago.

Good voice cast in this adventure I had not realised in my youth, how many watch an animation and instantly look for Frank Welker to appear in the opening or end credits… he did in this one:)
Not a spectacular film but good to watch.

Tank Girl (1995)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

Cringe comedy of the 90s, this has not stood well in time and is rather cheesy and lame now, Mcdowell is perhaps just worth the watch but in general this can be left in the past with the rest of the bad cheese and younger memories of these sorts of films.

Tai Chi Zero (2012)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

A pretty decent film with plenty of martial arts on offer, I did not like however some of the style in this movie, some bits have elements of a comic style along with bits of fighting games and so on, it is not terrible just does nothing for me in a film and unless I missed something his mark was not hit again but hit continued to get worse throughout this adventure, some bits did not add up plot wise but I had a reasonable time here overall.

The Visitors (1993)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

OK film to watch, I actually thought Just Visiting was the first one for quite a while however neither seemed too connected with one another as the same lost in time mindset between films is in place here, I went into this expecting something familiar but got something else, not bothered by that.

One of those rare occasions where a more modern take on this kind of venture is more to my liking but still, I had a decent time here as well.

The Joy of Painting (1983) S1 E7
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

Is there any money to be made at all from painting like this? canvas’s are not all that cheap once too many fails are completed or practise jobs, all adds up eventually.
I have not purchased an easel and such things yet so still enjoying just to view these episodes.

Highlander (1992) S1 E1
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 3 points 4 years ago.

And so it begins….I still love this show.

[Cargo] (2018)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

That was a terrible film in my opinion, if you are going to do a film completely inside one location(a cargo container) you at least need someone with a bit of flair to pull that kind of film off, none of the cast seemed to care much except for the main guy trapped, but it seems like he was so over dramatic his performance tipped the lines into awful desperation(the guy was the typical hard man who shook off pulling teeth out with little complaints, as one does), the script helped not one bit it was written badly and perhaps more to why the cast felt so terrible, some of those lines were just so poorly written and acted out.

Frasier (1993) S1 E3
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Typical to wait until one is at a dinner table or in a restaurant/diner to then relay the troubles of others heath in all details like they done here, Cheap food if one gets used to good food it does taste a whole lot different in quality, got a few laughs there also with how true a lot of that scene in the eatery is in the real world on both sides.

Frasier (1993) S1 E1

Great show, enjoying to see this again

Drag SOS (2019) S1 E2

Those contacts do make Chedder’s eyes look nice, I could not wear something so close to my eyes like that.

Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence (1983)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

A little different then the usual war films about and perhaps that could be because of Bowie, only seen a few of his films however he brings a unique charm into the atmosphere, nicely told and despite some not choice dialogue it seemed to be how it would of been said in that situation when one is in those events, just a tale but war also is brutal like that and more so.

The Joy of Painting (1983) S1 E1
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 2 points 4 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

He starts from a blank canvas with no cuts in time to produce at the end a really nice painting for anyone with the time to be able to achieve, even encourages people to ready themselves to join in the painting fun next time/episode

One of the first things I used to watch in the mornings without fail.

Kung Fu Hustle (2004)
BladesofTroy 0 points 4 years ago.

You’ll be glad to hear there’s a sequel coming.

РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

That is good info to hear and shall keep me eyes peeled for the future. thank you.

Kung Fu Hustle (2004)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

This film is crazy over the top and the entertainment is constant, I am as attached to the humour here as I am the well told story that unfolds rather beautifully towards the end more so.

Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) S1 E4
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

This episode picked up a bit more after the last one with more action and less meh moments

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

Fantastic film from start to finish and one that can be watched time and time again, the best in the series of films.

Drag SOS (2019) S1 E1
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 0 points 4 years ago.

I had a good time watching this, just equal humans expressing themselves all differently.

Roy Chubby Brown: The Good the Bad & the Fat Bastard (2007)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

He could make you laugh and laugh you shall, but then after you know it was quite rude or very unacceptable to say some of the things that he say’s, that is Chubby in all his glory from the jokes to the music, not my flavour of viewing anymore, he is a good entertainer though.

Inception (2010)
РΔЖРΔĐΜΔ 1 points 4 years ago.

Good viewing, I had some issues the first time around seeing this and had to stop watching for what was either CGI mess ups or how the film was actually made but second time around Inception is rather decent watching if those gripes are out of the way, may have some confusing scenes and a second time around this may be needed.

Does ratings go at top when rated or can we do that in the comment?

Cannot give halves so a 3/5 or 6/10 from me personally
