Brilliant little ending. Not sure why I feel to word it that way. I’m glad I stuck with this. I had some criticism that others shared earlier on, but I felt some of the acting was compelling and a few of the characters drew me in, others didn’t. But boy I found this ending satisfying and very poetic. For me the later was a strength of this show. And, what a treat for a TWD fan to have storylines from other shows in the franchise inter-sect and in such a powerful way as in this last episode.
Another Flippin’ Awesome Episode!!! The last few episodes have been beyond entertaining, exciting and nerve-racking! The game play this season is definitely bumped up a notch. Actually forget the notch, it on a whole new level entirely. Lol
And I have to say, I have really enjoyed how the different alliances have shifted throughout the last half of the game. In previous seasons or in different countries’ Survior series, after the merge which ever alliance was in the majorty they rarely break or deviate from thier group… so it’s just bye-bye to the others’ group, one by one 3,2,1. (Yes, which is actually a great strategy for them, stability until it’s time to start cutting your own- BUT can be boring as heck to watch. And sometimes I want them to just axe the lot of them so they can get back to the actualy gameplay, twists and turns, etc.) Then we have the cast for this season…. which has been totally changing up that status quo! It has been super fun to watch how the alliances shift, plans behind the plans behind multiple blindsides, and how it isn’t predictable in anyway! Long story short: This has been an EPIC season thus far and I cannot wait to see what happens next!
I concur with you whole heartedly except I thought last season Au Survivor was EPIC, but yes this has also been exciting and enjoyable for all the reasons you’ve stated. I also feel to give credit to the twists in the game itself this season such as the dual immunity night; then the three individual immunities in one and only they got to vote; and finally the secret immunity. All those put a spanner in the works, too. I do think though that while the challenges this season have been challenging, last season they were extremely more so. However, that it changes like that from season to season is also what keeps this game and show fresh and interesting.
This is not about sharing something new; It’s about recapping a remaining main character’s story-line told over many seasons, recapped into one extended episode. It’s been many years and a lot of content, so I found it very satisfying to recall it all and remind myself just why it’s been one of my favorite shows for the last decade. It’s got me entirely stoked for the upcoming and finale season.
This was great. Darryl’s character and story line kicks ass.
I don’t care what any one says, Long Live the Dead, TWD.
Stoked for this upcoming and final season.
I find this compelling; The acting and writing is so good that It’s hard to believe that it’s fiction and that I’m not just a voyeur in someone’s session. I’ve always had a driving interest in understanding human nature even though it continues to challenge me. But if you don’t find it fascinating. likely this show will not interest you.
Fun, clever, and at times even hilarious. Wishing every woman could enjoy it.
I thought the episode was so very deliberate and masterful; and sometimes an episode may not move a story forward in the direct present plot, but in the over all arc of the season and / or totality of the story.
Precious. Lots of goodness they share. Much appreciated in this world.
Gosh! I could feel John’s pain! They sucker punched me with this one!
But I figured that would be the only way Virginia could “fix it” and keep a key player “on her team”…for now.
I just watched an episode that was airing on Free Speech TV, which was S02E01 and I’ll never be the same again. It’s on climate change. I wasn’t heretofore a denier by any stretch, but I was not even close to as concerned, and motivated to do as much as I can to be a part of the solution, since watching hence the “please watch” to pass the knowledge forward, to warn, to promote education, as I am now.
I came here directly, after watching to see if the documentary was here. Its placeholder is here, but no links. I have requested them minutes ago. Thank you linkers. UPDATE: As of presently, there are 9 full episodes, which is the entirety of Season 1 available on the Years of Living Dangerously You Tube Channel.
Very well put, 8 ! Thanks for the review !
most welcome and good to re-connect maxx.black2. Hope all is as well as can be reasonably expected for you and maybe a bit more even. ;)
Glad I ended up watching it. At first, I shut it down after the first minute and a half, cautious and feeling uncomfortable with the opening. But, decided after then going to the IMDB page and reading a few positive enlightening reviews to give it another try. Only three minutes into it changed my mind from my initial impression, as it began and continued to handle the topic professionally, thoughtfully, respectfully and intelligently utilizing science - both biology and psychology - and as well history, cultures, societal norms, and the media. Very well done.
Wow, I watched this a year ago; feels like years and years, ironically. A few times during this surreal-like time of Pandemic and Revolution, I thought of this show and how though different it’s uncannily eerily thematically and in tone very similar.
excellent finale and the entire season as always very satisfying! top-notch respectable show and competition and quite inspiring.
OMG, LOL “Here’s what we can do: 10% discount.” “Is that all?” “No, twenty percent with referral.” That whole scene was pretty funny…such great comedic timing.
💯% spot on!!!! I ✔completely✔ agree with 8STORY8!!! 5 out of 5 stars and 2 👍👍!!!
This is not only one of my favorite TV series in the drama category, but truly one of my all time favorite shows! This series is inspirational, heart-wrenching, and as 8STORY8 put it so well, “deeply moving!”
The individual storylines are so interesting and are great all on their own. But also, each separate or stand alone storyline is completely intertwined with all of the other ones and then also with the overall plot. The ways in which the writers have done this, how they have executed it all is truly amazing- and IMO part of this show’s “magic!!!”
The characters are so… well, to put it succinctly,, so human! 😉☺ They are all very intricately and simply “human”- they’re all complicated and complex people who are brilliant and are also flawed, damaged, works-in-progress. These characters are all the things that us mere mortals are in “real life.” And I think I love this series in part due to the characters seeming so real. They are depicted as 100% perfect and imperfect but not done so in such an obviously fake, cheesy or unnatural way as how some other characters are portrayed in other fictional dramas.
The writting is utterly superb! All of the dialogue is without a doubt, some of the best around, and seems to just “fit” like how the last piece of a puzzle fits. (And all of it executed in a way that it comes off a real, and natural.)
I’ve become so attached and invested in this family! I can’t wait to watch the past, present, and future of these stories and see how they unfold!
The only downside to this series is that now the weekly wait, for the next episode, begins again! 😊☺❤
Agreed! The writing is so thoughtfully complexly layered and interwoven, yet at the same time relatable, understandable, real, which makes this show stand above so many others like it. Superb creativity here.
Just finished binge-watching season’s 1-3 def 5 out of 5 and right into my favorites.
WoW! I could not be happier for Drew, that was so well deserved! And what a great season.
This was by far one of the best final tribals I’ve very seen. (USA, AU, SA) Wow, wow, wow. This season had some of the best game play of all time claps Wow.
amazing that those three made it soooooo long on that horrendously challenging final immunity challenge, just wow. I am disappointed that some of the best game players are now sitting on the juror but that is quite frankly how it often does play out. I was team Harry.
Mid-way through the Finale and can say I’ve enjoyed this as much as I’ve enjoyed many of my favorite seasons of the US version. I wasn’t sure I’d like that just two go to final tribal (though I know US has done that but usually does the finale three) but I did like it. That lends to even more weight and power to that final immunity challenge and that winner’s decision who to take with them and a fascinating opportunity for the remaining two to powerfully speak their pitches to them and in front of the jury. This brings another level of strategy to the game. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone (I was careful to be general), so enough said, and I’ll get back to watching the second half.
I’d say on this one, don’t trust the low IMDB score; But, rather check out the IMDB reviews and see that enough enjoyed this movie to give it a very positive review and a high to respectable score. Overall viewers expressed that it is a positive feel good movie and were glad they watched it, and some were touched deeply, so if that’s what you’re in the mood for, I’d check it out. I’m going to. Yes, I did enjoy it…this is for those who do believe in magic…and I was delightfully surprised to see the writer / director is Paco Arango who also wrote and directed Maktub (2011) which use to be in my favorites on the old PW (not in our database at this time)…great movie with a similar essence to Healer. Paco has a special place in his heart for story telling and helping ill children and the magic held in doing so. The following is from the bio on IMDB:
“In December 2011, he wrote and directed Maktub. The film was well received in Spain and garnered three nominations at the Spanish Academy (Goya) Awards. The movie benefited the Maktub Center, the number one bone marrow transplant wing in Spain.
Paco combines his passion for storytelling with a deep commitment to helping seriously ill children.
His Aladina Foundation provides volunteers, builds teen rooms in hospitals, and helps fund expenses for children and their families.
In 2012, Aladina used profits from Arango’s first film to build one of Europe’s most advanced bone marrow transplant center in Madrid.
In 2016, Aladina Foundation rebuilt Hospital Niño Jesús’ ICU with a cost of over 1.5MEUR creating Aladina ICU with the latest technology and comfortable installations for the families.
In 2008, Arango was elected to the Board of Directors of SeriousFun Children’s Network, which runs camps and programs for seriously ill children around the world.
His last project “The Healer”, the first film in the world with a 100% philanthropic cause. It features a cast of well-known actors. The film is dedicated to Paul Newman.”
“

I’m not sure what happened to episode 7. The second season of this is even better than the first but could someone please, if possible, upload a working version of episode 7? The one on here right now is only 7 minutes long and it’s all wonky. Tak!!
SEASON 39??? THIS SHOW IS A SURVIVOR.
Season 39 Premiere

Sending good thoughts from PA! 🤞I’m also sending out some good weather vibes for ya! Stay safe, and Happy Viewing!
That last episode of season one……. WOW!
Yeah right, so much went down! I can’t wait to find out what’s next…and also what was before, like about the Colony, etc. and so many unanswered questions yet at the same time they are great at answering enough to keep yeah curious and yes riveted. Thanks for the good weather vibes. Happy viewing to you too.
Just started season 2. I am shocked at how quickly it drew me in….. “riveting” is the perfect adjective to describe it! I started my binge 2 days ago, and can not wait to start another episode!
I’m secretly hoping it rains, so I have a good reason to skip all the holiday weekend festivities 😂😂😂😂
haha…I’m not so secretly hoping we don’t have any power outages from the impending hurricane (I’m in Florida) so that I can continue to binge watch it also.
I’m late to the viewing party, perse; but this story ain’t no party. But it sure as heck is riveting, and so I am so glad I finally got started and have been binge-watching it!
Another low-budget film with very mixed reviews, love it or hate it, many give it 8-10 stars. It’s not a typical action sci-fi but for the thinkers and philosophers and perhaps not the skeptics of the positive potentials of psychic abilities.
Another potentially decent film, despite a low IMDB score and highly mixed reviews. I often find films with both very high and low scores to be an interesting watch. For instance, one called it “a surreal masterpiece that envelops and tantalizes every aspect of the viewer’s palate” and another “a dreadful incoherent mess.” Whatever it is, it was done on one of the lowest budgets ever,$300.00!
Despite it’s low IMDB score, most of those who took the time to reviews this on IMDB gave it great scores, 9 and 10s out of 10, and said: “A fun ride,” “cult classic in the making,” “wild and crazy modern day western” and “it does have some rough edges. But in a way that adds to its charm. It’s a good flick to watch with your friends over a beer and just enjoy its unusual characters, sexy girls, and funny yet deadly bad guys.”
!!@#&$!!%&^!! Stage 2: Challenging Coarse!! - Remarkable Athletes!!
exciting to watch!
I am giving this version of survivor a shot because of your review!
oh my the feels whew
