Or they try to compare indentured servitude (how many Irish and other nationalities paid for their passage to America back then) to chattel slavery (generational, no end). Yes there was some similarities but to say they were the same thing is like saying cats and dogs are they same because they’re both pets. That one always gets me.
Just because there was no Irish slavery in America doesn’t mean it didn’t happen,the vast majority of deniers are those who benefited from the exploitation of the Irish.Gaslighting is a common occurrence when this subject is discussed,massive media and political institutions both downplay the importance of certain elements of world history,while inflating others.
For those of us who are critical of the contemporary world,this is nothing new. And yet the lengths the worldwide media has gone to try erase the exsistence of Irish slaves is truly shocking.For the sake of argument I won’t consider the barbaric practice ‘Indentured Servitude’ as a form of slavery just like Anglo interlocutors.
While my belief that this handicap imposed on me by our so called ‘intellectual’ class is an unjustifiable one,borne largely out of anti-european hatred, it is nevertheless a handicap i can live with.
Irish slaves have existed in one form or another since the genesis of Irish as an identity. Just a few examples,slave caste daer fuidhir,Vikings and their thralls,Barbary corsairs,Ottoman Empire etc
In conclusion, the Irish were most certainly slaves and any attempt to say otherwise is blantantly false.There is more to history other than American history but thats all that seems to matter.
Irish slavery is being used against ‘white’ Americans as a weapon and has nothing to do with Irish people at all.
Ultimately, the very same people who are descended from those who exploited this Island for centuries are now using that very history to subdue another group.

Apart from Uncut Gems this is my fav Sandler movie since Zohan, yeah its a family movie and can be silly at times but it has some genuinely funny moments.Its light hearted,decent watch and doesnt have grown assed men doin’ fart jokes every 5mins 😂

Fantastic addition to the Monkey legend,well acted and has some real funny moments.After I binged the 2 seasons over the same no. of days I drew 2 note worthy points.One, this is not for kids but PG13 as it contains some unsettling themes,dark themes,not suitable for youngsters.Secondly,the fighting is exactly what you would expect more power rangers-esque than shaolin chasity monks in terms of violence so no worries there.Overall i was well entertained and cant complain,give it a shot 👍

Not going to be the movie of the year but it doesn’t have to as its quite enjoyable despite it being rather clichéd.Definitely suitable for family viewing and no heavy lifting required so give it a go.👍

Wow, another excellent episode!! I KNEW i recognized the voice of the little Pig Faced dude helping the Mandalorian, its Nick Nolte’s voice for sure…especially since i just watched the latest Gerrard Butler movie where he is accused of attempting to assasinate the Prez..Nick Nolte played his Dad in that movie so his voice is fresh in my mind. Cool Beans. Anyways, hope this keeps up, this is my new fave series for sure! “I Have Spoken”..(cheers Doomage ;) ) lol
