Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)
EnterShowStopper 1 points 5 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

i absolutely loved this movie even though i did end up having questions. Like what was that animatronic Chica tried to put Abby in and with the five ghost children and four animatronics possessed where is the fifth child. Also what happened to Mike’s younger brother Garret? is he still alive (forced to become an Afton) or is he another ghost that is maybe haunting another animatronic that is in another location maybe at the Sister Location? if Vanessa is an Afton then will she have brothers and sisters? i may have to watch multiple times to find clues to make a “dream theory” lol. Well i guess its just a theory a film/game/book/dream theory thanks for reading. 😎

Twisted Metal (2023)

I absolutely loved this. Yes it isn’t exactly like the games but it is basically a prequel to the games after everything already turns to shit. End of movie twist was amazing especially when we see the tournament being setup by our favorite person who grants wishes. I just hope we get minion in the second season along with my favorite twisted metal 2 character which I am wondering if he is gonna die real easily in the second season due to his situation.

It’s to bad they tried to cover 2 games. More than enough content in the first game for one movie.Could have been an hour and half of The Raid redmption/John Wick Gunfu smashup with zombies.

EnterShowStopper 2 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I agree they should have just done each game their own movie rather than trying to combine the games. They really could use more of the Labrinth style for the Mansion and make it last for at least 1/3 of the story arc while another arc focusing more on the story of the Lisa Trevor and another arc for Alex Wesker. All could have been expanded upon with and could easily be a fantastic 2 hour movie if done right.

contain spoilers… Jennifer Hudson does a wonderful job in this, great acting and singing. However the plot has a lot of holes a lot of open ended scenes, where you are left to fill in the gaps. One very strange sequence shows her pregnant as a child, without explanation. Was that a dream, or did I miss something? I know she was getting night visits from a creep, yet did that result in a pregnancy? Also I dont know if she had kids or not, that wasnt clear either, yet every now and then she would drop kids off at her dads house. I did enjoy the film for Hudsons performance, apart from that very flimsy….V

If you want more info about Aretha watch the series Genius: Aretha. It is the same story but it goes into more details from when she was younger all the way to the moment when aretha franklin stepped in for pavarotti to sing Nessun Dorma.

In the Heights (2021)

Great Movie with a mostly positive Rotten Tomatoes Score from both Audience and Critics. Not the best but still pretty good. Didn’t care for the Direction of the movie but the Story itself is great just wish they had a better director. Not as good as the Broadway show but pretty close with just missing a few really important parts to show case including the relationship between Benny and Vanessa instead of just the one scene that is in it. Also the Visuals used in the movie especially from the Song Vanessa sings and the song 96000 kinda hurt my brain with the drawings they used inside the movie definitely could have done without those.

I skimmed through it to see if it looks good and lets just say it looks amazing and also the ending sets up a sequel and Johnny Cage. Can’t wait for this to become a beloved franchise and show more beloved characters from the games. Imagine if they did Bo’ Rai Cho in the sequel that would be amazing, I have always loved seeing different fighting styles in movies and seeing how they go up against one another.

Creepshow (2019) S2 E1

Title needs to be changed to Model Kid/Public Television of the Dead since it is both in one episode

Dragon Ball (1986)

Controversial opinion: this show was better than all the Dragonball Z shows that followed.

I totally agree with you. I especially love the Red Ribbon Army Arc.

why though?

EnterShowStopper 2 points 3 years ago.

I believe it was meant to be like that on the IMAX screen. And Zack Snyder considers an Imax screen just a giant Tv Screen which is very weird choice imo

WandaVision (2021) S1 E9

Genuinely curious to know how many people end up actually catching the credits scenes when the previous 8 episodes all had 6-8+ min of credits; you’d think that’d condition people to just turn it off. Anyway, I’m overall disappointed with the show as a whole and likely won’t plan on watching a season 2 if there is one. I don’t think it’s necessarily bad, but it just isn’t good and certainly not good enough to warrant a 9 episode series; episodes 1-8 could’ve been condensed into maybe 2 and the whole thing could’ve been a 3 episode mini-series, however, Disney needs those subscriptions to renew. It’s the reason why the Manadlorian is a weekly show as well, so I don’t feel as though that assumption is a leap in logic.

I was really interested in the concept before the series started, but it just stumbled out of the gate and dragged along each week. It unfortunately also confirmed the suspicion that many of the Marvel Disney+ series would be little more than glorified commercials for future Marvel movies. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad move, especially with how much world-building they have to do now that they re-gained the rights to X-men and Fantastic 4, but you have to call a spade a spade and this show was 3/4 gimmick with 1/4 substance.

If you enjoyed it then that’s great; I hope you continue to do so. I’m just not very optimistic anymore about any of the other shows in the pipeline if they go on to follow a similar formula. X-men the animated series is nearly 30 years old now and still holds up really well; that’s a high benchmark, but given the fact that Marvel has so many great creative minds on the team as well as Disney’s endless cash stack, it didn’t seem like much of an ask. Again, this is my opinion, so don’t bother arguing. However if you’re someone who enjoyed this series then I highly recommend you check out the X-men animated series either here or Disney+ as it’s currently available on both. Not only is it an excellent series faithful to the source material, but it’s a perfect jumping off point for anyone who’s not too familiar with X-men. Cheers.

I agree with some points you made. I would have liked it better if instead of doing a lot of episodes of the Sitcom era, I love the sitcom stuff, that they would have just done that just in just one episode and went straight to the point that Agnes was indeed Agatha in the first episode then the next two episodes use as backstory for both Agatha’s Origin story and how Wanda started the Hex and why she did it and another episode about everything outside the hex until they get caught up to the point with all of us. Then they could have used the rest of the season to explore the Darkhold and Wanda’s true powers and what she can do coming down to what we kind of see in the finale. To me just too much Sitcom stuff when they could have done all of them in one Episode.

WandaVision (2021) S1 E8
sparson 2 points 3 years ago.

a) there are 2 sets of credits since you’re watching it illegally and seems to be a foreign feed.
b) you’re missing something.

EnterShowStopper 1 points 3 years ago.

There are 8 plus minutes even when you watch it on Disney plus so technically he is right. Even movies they release have the Foreign Departments in their Credits which is always a long time for Credits.

ok one last question thas doing my head in - if wanda used her hex /chaos magic to re-create vision and the westview complex - how/why did agnes harkness end up in westveiw - wanda wouldnt have created her or wanted her there -really enjoyed the lenght of the program too

EnterShowStopper 4 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Maybe Agatha is working with Hayward. Maybe he got rid of anything that has any information about her for that would expose why who he really is or why he wanted to kill Wanda. Maybe Hayward is actually someone who works for Mephisto/Nightmare and that explains how he would think Wanda could bring back Vision and knew by getting some of her Magic would help create the White Vision.

They should put the winners in a new circle

EnterShowStopper 1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Well since the majority of the winners are Kids or Soon to be Mothers then they will be killing off a lot of children and most movies are not ok with doing that now adays.

DC's Stargirl (2020)
finigan1 -3 points 3 years ago.

if you have watched the arrow universe and crisis there is only one universe now and only one earth,so she may join up with others , and for a pilot it was ok, nothing great but it has potential.

EnterShowStopper 1 points 3 years ago.

Actually if you watch all the way to the end of Crisis you learn there is more than one Earth but only one prime Earth that is where Supergirl now resides at after they redid the Universe and the changes of that version of Stargirl coming to the arrow verse is very slim. About a 2/10 chance of it happening.
