sure, it looks awesome, but they stipped away the characters personalities and reasons to grow as people so now they’re just bland

Really beautiful folklore film where a young witch grapples with learning how to be human and both the horrors and wonders that come with that by emboding different people. Loved it.

Loved it! Smart, funny, great visuals, love the characters, thoroughly enjoyable experience. Minx takes a refreshing turn by showing nudity, even full frontals, in a much needed casual and even fun perspective right from the first episode. I am delighted that we’re getting a second season, can’t wait for next week!

Good movie! The first hour has a great Carnivale feel to it. If you haven’t seen that, check it out: https://www.primewire.vc/tv/2290-watch-carnivale

Perfect casting of Blanchette as the femme fatale but I can’t figure out her character’s motivations for doing all that she did. Unless she was just plain nuts? Any ideas? That part was, for me, the only glitch in an otherwise fantastic flick.

She is a person who needs to feel better and more powerful than others, likes to be always right and in control, to the point it doesn’t matter if she hurts others to get what she wants. one of those ways is becoming a therapist, where she has power over her patients and most likely doesn’t even help them that much because she likes to be the top dog and, as we see in the movie, she is quite manipulative.

First sign of it, ad whole reason behind her actions, is how she publicly went to his shows to figure out his system, and then publicly challenged him to humiliate him and expose him as a fraud in front of everyone, not for justice but for herself to feel powerful. But what happened was that he won twice, once by tharting her plan of exposing him publicly but also by saying some very specific personal things in front of everyone. That’s why she did what she did, she felt so humiliated that decided to take vengance. In conclusion, she’s just a really bad person.

I really enjoyed season 1 and 2! The ending of season 2, especially, was a pretty brutal yet poignant way to get the theme of the series across. I didn’t care much for s3. not only did it feel repetitive in general, but i wasn’t keen on the “screaming ‘you can do it! fight!’ to an unconcious kid results in miraculous recover from coma, also spine injury is ttly fine” chepeaned the end of last season for me (i like a hopeful recovery as much as anyone but i don’t know, it just didn’t feel right). They’ve just dropped s4 today, i guess we’ll see.

I liked s3 in general but also i feel catfished by this show with the whole celtic stuff. They’d had been throwing hints here and there but s3 rolled in and they finally cemented the idea that “actually, cristianism is the only TRUE religion, everything else is fake ;)” I really liked Felan’s musings about “what happens when new gods kill/push aside the old ones” I thought it was more interesting than just going “well that doesn’t matter because they don’t exist, and everything boils down to God/Jesus and The Devil” kinda disappointed about that i guess, not sure how i’ll like the next season knowing they’re going this route.
