This was so bad it was funny.

This movie gave me nightmares for reals. I wish I could unsee it. It reminds me of what happens when you play with Ouija boards kind of.
Mess with the unknown, be disrespectful to it, and go into it with no plan or knowledge and you end up with bad consequences. Isn’t that always the case?? Interesting movie with a neat twist at the end. It is AU so the accents sometimes are difficult to understand and the fact the sound is a bit muffled in places. It was a neat watch.
Any action sequences? Or is it like the new Texas ranger?
Without giving away any “spoilers”..yes there are action sequences but like the original lots of script and good writing, so it’s not boring. We’ll see how the rest of the season plays out.
A lot darker and grittier than the original, at least from the first two episodes. I likes Boyd way better than this new nemesis. Nice to see Willa as a teen but I think she needs to be a bit sassier like her momma. All in all it’s entertaining so far.
Just finished the first episode and I’m getting the impression this is a Carol Baskins is a saint and Joe Exotic is the backwoods hillbilly asshole (no offense to any backwoods hillbillies as they many are some good people). Anyways this hopefully won’t be a full Joe bashing series.
Not being a history buff this was interesting and entertaining. What you are going to teach me something and make it fun, say it ain’t so?!?! But seriously on the historical facts that are covered added to interesting events that we know about. Also certain things I was not aware of, never heard of Johnstown so this was an interesting historical fact. If you like history then you’ll enjoy this 20+ minute show.
I guess it is really eerie to hear him talk about his murders like going to the grocery store and buying groceries. He has no remorse of what he did or who he affected. The word monster just doesn’t have the right effect or the savageness of the crimes he committed. I understand this documentary is trying to understand how he came to be this serial killer but it’s pretty demented his whole demeaner. What came to mind was comedian that was doing a skit about killers and he said just once he wanted to hear them say “My dad was a good guy, my mom was a good mother, my family was nice…I’m just an asshole.” That’s what I got so far from this documentary (only the first two were available at the time of this comment).
I was thinking similarly - Blair Witch meets Midsommar. However I did enjoy Dale’s character. A lot. What can I say, the man likes pork butt.
Just finished this and yep I felt more of Blair Witch meets Cloverfield style filming but definitely not Paranormal Activity. Some of the characters were entertaining and the film wasn’t as jerky as many of this style. Plus I guess the cameras were more high-tech so it didn’t make you feel sea sick. Onto the next filming fiasco..
You get the feeling from the show that the FDA is in the pockets of the drug companies. The thought is the FDA is there to protect the consumers but it seems from this that they are in the pockets of the drug companies. Are they there to make sure drug company liability is minimal to fiascos like OxyContin? No of course they are there to protect the consumers, yeah no issues in the government
Intresting first episode back. I wonder what dynamic it will be with his son and if he will be in on the family buisness.
Not really impressed with this first episode. I know it is just a set up for the rest of the season but not sure how this revival will work. I do want to understand the situation with his son but he’s gonna be limited to his killings if he decides to do what he did in Miami, also disposal is going to be very different as they have the one lake that is frozen over.
Cross between Zoboomafoo and the Crocodile Hunter but for adults..nothing like watching animals having sex. Not a crude as “Brickleberry” or “Paradise PD” but in that category. Nice thing is you learn something while watching it.
It’s surprising how this transpired and how quickly it became an epidemic. Seriously the drug company and FDA needed to be held responsible for this but what was really surprising is how many road blocks law enforcement threw up. They had people wanting to investigate and look into it but there was a ton of red tape. Especially since it involved a big drug company and the medical industry. I’m on the 4th episode and really can’t wait for the next 4 episodes(read the Rolling Stone article on this and they stated it was an 8 episode series). What really gets me is the pharma companies not coming out commenting or trying to defend themselves on this show. Most of the time you will see companies come out and defend their product or at least make a comment about how it is “fiction”. Not seeing that currently, I guess time will tell if they decide to comment.
This is like Paranormal Witness, Paranormal Survivor, Paranormal 911, Haunted Hospitals, My Paranormal Nightmare, My Ghost Story, etc. (realized I watch too many of these types of shows). Anyways this one has a bit of a twist as there is a get together at the end of the filming crew. Sort of a summary which I think the shows I listed miss. I don’t know if the stories are true or something Eli Roth is conjuring up but it feels real. I like the format and the true feeling of it. A definite watch if you like these types of shows.
So now were seeing many new Korean drama’s, for many Squid Games set the tone for these new ones. I had noticed before Squid Games, Asian dramas and also from all over the world populating on this site. I started watching this one and I do have to say I like it. After two episodes I am looking forward to the third.
So looking forward to Season 3..rumor has it that it might be the last season for this show but I’m hoping that is only a rumor. As for this episode it had a lot of twists and turns. New plots for next season, can’t wait.
I enjoyed this one. It was like Saw meets Escape Room in Korea. Very well done
I was in one of the episodes waiting for them to say “Do you want to play a game??”..Or Running man meets Wipe Out/Ninja Warrior…it is crazy violent and I see why they rated it 18+ (saw the it on ET the other night).
I watched and enjoyed the BBC version of this show that was released a couple years ago, they are in their 3rd season. I can’t believe how very similar the scripts are and the ghost characters. Reminds me of Shameless, watch the first episode of the British version and then the American version and the script is almost identical. No imagination on the US side.
Now I did like the show and will continue to watch it just to see if they change anything but I doubt it.
Apparenty theres a bunch of wavers you need to sign before they let you in. If you’re in delicate health, I wouldnt do it…
Yeah I saw the people in line with clipboards that were signing their lives away. I do have to say the staff there were extremely nice. I’m talking about Disneyland friendly. I told them I just wanted to go to the gift shop and they told me where it was, back of the building for those who want to go, it’s small but there were normal trinkets you’d expect to find. It was a nice experience and even got to see Zak.
Seems like he created a show to advertise the Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. I visited the place but did not go on the tour, just visited the gift shop. Maybe next time I’m in Vegas. Will watch cause I’m a fan.
When the music plays there’s no voices when I talk
I tried several links and the same issue on many of the links. Appreciate the linkers as this is one of my favorite shows but the voice is either not there or really low. Music and gun shots are loud.
Not a Canadian version of AHS. Just a horror anthology.
Just like AHS they use the same actors from season to season. It was the first thing that came to mind when going from Season 1 to Season 2..now in Season 3 and still liking this series.
Canadian version of AHS (American Horror Story). I’ve gotten through season 1 and 1/2 way through season 2. Gory as shit and the stories are back and forth through flashbacks. Definite worth a watch if you like horror/gore stories.
Some of the same info that you’ve seen in other serial killer shows. This one, I think, takes a unique look at comparing 5 serial killers (Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, The Green River Killer and BTK) with similar styles. I found the first two very interesting and looking forward to the rest.
I agree with everything that has been said below. If you liked the first one this one tries to be funnier but the comedy is very dark. The surprise was many of the actors that show up. If you look at IMDB then you’ll see but I didn’t so I was surprised. The movie runs like a comic book, not quite like the first Hulk movie but it runs that way. Cena is annoying and that costume was ridiculous, but that was his script. Fun movie and worth the watch.
I hate musicals, but this is funny AF!!! The songs are corny and the interaction of the main characters with them is just as funny. Especially when the guy refuses to sing or participate, that would be me…LOL..anyways from the first episode through what is available is really entertaining.
Entertaining shootem up (as stated in other reviews). Great casting, I would compare it to Shootem Up with Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti(ironically he’s in this one too).
Never read any RL Stine books but I thought they were kids books. This is not kid material. Anyways the first one was almost two hours long so be ready to ride the rollercoaster. I liked it and really anticipating the next episodes.
The reality of this movie is what I think most people don’t like. It is very much a story that goes no where. Not a happy ending and not a sad ending just an “eh that life” ending. It is just human interaction and not much happening. Good story and if you aren’t looking for much in a movie then this is one to see. If you are looking for something with intense substance then this is not a movie to watch. Judge it for yourself. I thought it was just ok.
This was beyond terrible (I made it through 15 minutes) Who makes this garbage?
I watched the whole thing, it really didn’t get any better just kept getting worst.
“CHEESE!!!”..If that term is still used. From the crappy special effects (didn’t know they still did claymation like “Clash of the Titans”) to the really bad acting/plot line. Watch at your own risk or boredom.
Did not know what to expect from this movie but it was entertaining. The cast was great and many recognizable from other shows and movies. I like the feeling of “but wait there’s more…” at the end. All around a good movie, worth the watch.
I just was watching the first episode and as ghost hunting shows go this one is almost comical. It just has a feel of a “spoof” hunting. I guess I’ll watch the next ones if they area all on youtube.
Similar to the Haunted that was done for the US (English). These are stories in Spanish that occurred in Hispanic countries, same format and same name. Just spooky stories presented by the families affected.
Interesting analysis and a different story line. I like how they make it more than just two serial killers and explain the stories and how they correlate to each other and the bigger picture. Hopefully 3&4 will get uploaded.
I didn’t know anything about this person. Had no clue he existed until I saw the commercials for this video. Hulu has it’s own version but not as well done as this one. Interesting the whole social media aspect of this show but he remains in my opinion as a real piece of shit. Would not surprise me if he ended up dead for what he did.
Nothing like the original. Hard to be a bad ass like Chuck Norris when you can’t drop your Sam Winchester image. He’s playing the part like he’s Sam and not Walker Texas Ranger. The story line is different maybe it was written for todays kids which the need more of a touchy feely type story line.
I’ve been a fan of this character for years. Used to watch the show when I lived in Italy as a teen. I noticed it is in French with subs. Hopefully they’ll dub it soon, don’t like reading my TV shows.
Really impressed by the stuff Apple Tv is putting out. This was surprisingly good. Great twist and turns throughout the whole series. If you have time give it a try.
Kinda has the feel of House Of Cards..seedy politician with an agenda, being followed by a reporter for something bad he did. I’m not familiar with the political structure in England so some of the stuff goes over my head but still entertaining.
Similar to what is already out there. I know I say that a lot but revisiting classic paranormal (ie,ghosts, alien, curses, etc) stories is fun and reminds us of how a lot of these shows started. I guess younger generations need to be reminded of the past.
I read the synopsis and thought another spoof show that will suck..I couldn’t be more WRONG. First few min I thought Lasso was an idiot but he is brilliant. Can’t stop watching this show. Like every other review in this discussion has said it is actually a great show.
Not to be a jerk, but this is not entirely accurate. Each episode features a supposedly haunted site and they stay the night there. Almost always they split up for a time and sleep (or try to) separately in various locations inside the site.
Personally, this is one of a very very few shows of this type that I watch. Most are garbage, but the four members of this crew are likeable and yes, they jump and scream at a lot of things, but that’s half the fun of watching.
Having an opposing view is not being a jerk, it is having a different opinion which is wonderful!! Maybe you saw more to this show than I did. I did watch all the episodes and just have a different view!! I’m not an expert by any means and my opinion is just that!! You bring up good points and I appreciate them!!
Another duplicate of what is already out there. Everyone is trying to create their own Ghost Adventures. The fame and fortune is what they are after but most fail to accomplish this. This is more amateur ghost hunting and lots of screams and jumping around. One thing happens and they get scared off and leave. It’s more of what you have already seen, nothing new here.
Agree with both the reviews here also the guy reminds me of the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, just the way he speaks and sometimes his demeanor. If he actually found something it would have already been on the news. Just another fun “paranormal” style show. Enjoy it for what it is.
I didn’t think I’d like another cooking show but this one is really cool. I like the mixtures of different chefs with different styles building meals together mixing the styles. Just one thing is the original chef mixing the styles doesn’t travel or eat with the mixed groups. Oh well the food looks awesome.
Retelling of many stories that if you watch these types of shows you’ll recognize the “real” stories immediately. Another Paranormal Witness/Survivor style show. With all of these they claim to be the re-enactment of the true occurrence. No better or worst than the other ones.
Was it an academy award winner of a movie? No…Was it entertaining?..sure…Was it cheesy and corny? Of course it was but worth a watch and don’t have any expectations and you’ll enjoy it.
