Great episode, I especially loved that final scene. In my honest opinion, that was Samantha Morton’s best scene since she arrived in TWD.

i LOVED the early seasons of this show, but after they wrote Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) out of the script the show just went downhill from there for me. Also i like fictional television shows to be entertaining not politically charged, but that seems to be the trend these days unfortunately. simply my opinions.

Agreed! So many cultural references came from this film.

Here is one of the most repeated 8 Words of all time.

I like this mini-series, although I couldn’t help but notice that they just left out a huge portion of his life. They barely talk about his childhood at all, and then after he resigned as a volunteer for the British and went home to Mount Vernon…they basically stop telling his story there and then pick it up again after the American Revolution had begun. I understand they are just trying to give an overview of his life and some insight into who he was as a person, but I feel like they missed some opportunities to do so throughout the parts they fast-forwarded past. Just my opinion.

Sounds like another Orange man bad theme. Will check it out. Color me something resembling an actual story.

I have a question… but first I must admit that I haven’t watched all the episodes up til now. I have completed the first 5 seasons and cpl episodes of the 6th season…but the gist of what I’ve seen in this story so far is the main character screws up over and over again by making egregious errors in judgement. Then, by 1 major event (usually in the last episode or 2 of each season), completely redeems herself or at least is mostly forgiven by her peers after saying “It won’t happen again”, this phrase was uttered at least a half dozen times…Is this the premise? Or is it just me? Usually, I think she is ultimately trying to do the right thing but goes about it all wrong. The old phrase ‘The end justifies the means’ comes to mind as i watch this show. To be clear, I’m not a hater & I actually kinda like the show most of the time but admit that I do get irritated by her actions at times.

Was just curious if I’m alone in this assessment…?

there are some small things that i wouldve changed if it were up to me, but they are very minor and therefore not really worth griping about…so i wont. overall i love this series and i cant wait to see what they come up with for season 2.

I quite enjoyed this series, and i felt like this was very well thought out and investigated (assuming that everything was real and nothing was faked simply for the purpose of filming) However, at the end of episode 6 he sets out to finish the journey after the transponder finally pings and gives up the location of “Captain Hoodlum”…so i was expecting there to be another episode to wrap everything up but there was nothing else after that point, so it kinda left me feeling a bit disappointed at the end. Other than that, i enjoyed it though!
