Looks like Disney finally has their official Asian warrior princess since Mulan technically isn’t a princess. I loved everything about this from the characters, story and world. Reminded me a lot of the cartoon Avatar which is always a good thing. Also bonus points for not having any musical numbers, I couldn’t imagine Awkwafina singing anyway.

I dunno about anyone else, but I just love the cinematography in this whole show. For example the dining hall scene in this episode, with the table and Aunts set up to resemble The Last Supper; and in a past episode, the scene where June looked like she had angel wings. And when she and the Waterfords were on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and all those Handmaids arranged before and beside the Reflecting Pool with the cross in centee background.
