Good movie. More ‘speculative fiction’ than sci-fi with excellent performances from all the cast. Interesting premise.

V.Good SF movie. Much better than most recent output. Loved the warnings about damage to the pod being an offence to Federal European law punishable by up to ten years imprisonment and compulsory euthanasia required by the UN. Excellent!

Oh, and the hair was all wrong!

Where to start with this abomination? Could be kind and say that the definitive Bowie movie is yet to be made… but bollocks to kindness. Whilst accepting that the film is not purporting to be factual, some basic facts are inescapable. Bowie’s first wife was American, so where is the accent? Bolan and Bowie were both “lookers” but both actors look like dockers by comparison. There was a critically acclaimed album (Hunky Dory) between TMWSTW and Ziggy which is never mentioned and contains some of Bowie’s reflections/experiences in the U.S. It has proved a very wise decision for the Bowie estate and family to refuse permission for the use of his music and to distance themselves from this dross.

Sci-fi/dystopia for adults. Highly recommended. If, Chernobyl is the benchmark ie 10/10 this scores an 8. Well worth your time. French with Eng subs.

Another great Belgian production. Tense, well-plotted with real edge-of-your-seat moments. More of this stuff please!
