Thanks for the suggestion; I’m going to try the UK show.

Cute - certainly worth 7 minutes of your time. It’s not an award winner, but if you like to fantasize about fantastical lives, well this one with give you some “food for thought.”

@mantistoboggan3 - thanks for your comment getting my attention! Back in the dark ages, I read everything that Joseph Wambaugh wrote and loved all of them! Not only have the folks at PW put up this excellent story, but if you click on Wambaugh’s name (look at crew listings) you’ll go to a page full of movies and TV shows that he authored! Can’t wait to watch all of them. Those I saw or read in the past are pretty much lost to me for the past almost 20 years due to PTSD . . . Durn! But, now I can watch them and try to remember the stories for at least a month or two!

The Passage (2019)

So far, I like this just as much, if not better than the Strain. I really enjoyed the strain for the first 2 seasons; not so much after that, but enough to finish watching. I like the humor involved in The Passage and the relationships between characters are just as good, or maybe a little better, than in the Strain. Although, we have to give my mind permission to be forgetful since I’m older than dirt and broken - tee hee hee! If you haven’t watched The Passage yet, I really recommend you view at least a few episodes to see if it hooks you, also! Thanks to everyone at PW for bringing us these movies and series so quickly!

False Flag (2015)

If you are not bothered by subtitles, this is a good series, but it is in Hebrew & subs are posted on openload sites. I’ve watched several Israeli movies and a few other TV series and enjoyed most of them. The comedy (when there is comedy) seems fresh and the dramatic writing does not take itself so seriously that it becomes awkward. It’s also nice to be immersed in another culture for awhile and foreign movies/TV Series allow you to enjoy that along with glimpses of local scenery. This is a Drama, Thriller, Crime show and they do like to throw in twists that weren’t obvious to me. Give it a try when you want something new and different!

Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2018)

Well, for me this was a watch only once movie. There was a lot of sarcastic comedy throughout; my favorite type of comedy. The movie also gave a view into authors’ lives, a bit about researching that needs to be done to complete some writing and, of course, revealed a lot about Lee Israel’s life. If a viewer was not interested in writing or the lives of authors, I’m not certain this movie would be very interesting to them, but there were some great lines and the cast did very good work.

For all the other viewers who bravely admitted to having a tear over this movie - Thanks! That caught my attention and I really enjoyed watching this movie. Very funny, touching, realistic and thoroughly enjoyable!

eff 02/18: New HD Versions.

RoboPhone, I want to thank you for the work you are doing on this site. It seems to be coming along nicely! I really missed PW when it went down, but just kept checking until it appeared that this would be the replacement. Please pass my gratitude along to others, also!

Prospect (2018)
ProudPittieMum 1 points 5 years ago.

Reading at IMDb, I thought this would be a worthwhile watch, but it offered very little entertainment to me. I still believe that each person needs to judge for themselves, but I think I can see why there were no ratings nor comments for this one.

Mortal Engines (2018)

Looking for this on openload, streamango, vidoza.net - without the Asian subtitles so that I can add English. Disabled granny and it helps me a lot to be able to use subs. Or is this just the price we pay for having good copies of the movie so soon? I was really surprised to see this here and HD versions! Nice to see PW back again, am getting back into the habit of coming out here to look first. Thanks to everyone who uploads!
