The Night House (2021)
meluv 1 points 4 days ago.

I must have missed that. I paid attention to ending 3 times

SheWatches 1 points 4 days ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

It’s not a shadow on the water, it’s darker than the shadows on the water. It’s a shadowy presence in the boat.

You'll Never Find Me (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 26 days ago.

Shudder films. Always a good horror flick and good ending. This one is slow and suspenseful and it builds up as it works toward the end and its the kind of movie I like to watch. I didn’t mind the crickets as the credits rolled either.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 27 days ago.

I just put this movie on to have something going in the background, but I got interested in it pretty quick and forgot all about housework. I like the action and I like how they portrayed Kong in this one. The actors and actresses roled 2nd place to the Titans and it was fun to watch. I’m not a stickler for a movie following an original with an exact same story, that would just be boring to me. I like it when they change it up a little.

Road House (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 29 days ago.

54:12 oh heck yea. This was awesome! It’s not like the original, it stands alone on its on merits. Enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely recommend it. Rated R for language and nudity.

Easter Bloody Easter (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 1 month ago.

This B-movie had me laughing. It’s supposed to be a horror, but its more of a comedy than anything and I couldn’t help laughing out loud - more laughs than most comedies I’ve seen lately. Plus, who doesn’t love a good holiday horror.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024)
SheWatches 5 points 1 month ago.

So glad I didn’t read the comments here before watching because I enjoyed this movie - it was really good and recommend it for a watch - good for family night

Hanu Man (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 1 month ago.

I don’t watch India movies often but something about it made me want to try it and I was about to turn it off, but it started to grab my attention. Most of the time, if I’m watching an India movie, I want to see the dancing and it had some good dance scenes. What got my attention though was the guy playing the lead role, he was funny, the lead actress was really good and I ended up watching the whole thing. It has English Subs and I don’t mind reading subs if its a good movie. If you like India movies, this one is really good and I recommend it.

Axegrinder 666 (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago.

I didn’t rate this because that would have given it something and after reviewing this really bad film, I have to say I can’t recommend it. If this had been a high school play, it still would have been bad. Sorry.

Killing All My Sisters (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago.

Idk if its just low budget or bad production or what, but it just didn’t come across well. The story and plot is okay but not well presented. The thing that got me the most is that sad sappy TV show Hallmark music that plays in the background.

Jonah (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 1 month ago.

It was okay but I was hoping for something a little more out of it. Suspense and thriller part was there but then it fizzled like a dead fish handshake. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to slam the feature, I was just disappointed at the end because I was looking for a shocker and it wasn’t there for me. Otherwise, it was okay.

Romi (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 1 month ago.

This one came out last year but I didn’t see it and just now found it. It’s a really good find for movie night. Grab your blanket and your popcorn, its a fun movie. You think its going one way and then surprise, its taking you down a whole different road. And then, surprise, its something else going on. Fun movie, twists, turns and a good ending. Enjoy!

Cold Meat (2024)
Steppenwolf71 2 points 1 month ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This is definitely a new favorite for me. And that’s saying something. Especially, for a flick with such non-existent budget demands. Masterfully done. The only other flick it reminds me of, is the Dan Akroyd, re-make version… of “The Twilight-Zone” movie. The “Werewolf” part of the story. I think it’s the last story. “Hey… you wanna see something, reeeeally scaaaary?” Lol! I need to watch that now.
I give this a 10/10 ✨rating. The biggest part of the budget, must’ve went to the main actor and actress. I wouldn’t even be surprised, if this started as someone’s thesis film. You like a good “underdog vs. The Nemesis” flick? This IS it.

SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago*.

I remember that quote from the Twilight Zone movie LoL. The movie didn’t knock me over as an epic movie or anything but I enjoyed watching it and I have to agree that for such a good movie they sure did keep it in the budget without sacrificing a good production. It was well done. Just wanted to add that if you liked this one, you might like another that would remind you of one of the Twilight Zone movies - it’s called Romi.

You Shouldn't Have Let Me In (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago.

I like a good vampire movie. This one is filmed in Italy which is nice for a change. Not the best vampire movie or with huge effects, but pretty good story and I liked the ending. Hopefully, someone will upload a link here.

Imaginary (2024)
SheWatches 0 points 1 month ago.

I think this was probably better than what I rated it. I will watch it again after it comes out in HD

Night Shift (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 1 month ago.

Nice - it’s been a while since a horror flick has been out. Well, a decent one anyway. I got some jump scares out of it and a surprise twist. That was fun. I can’t wait to watch this one with my husband and then laugh at him when the good parts come up. Enjoy!

The Pig, the Snake and the Pigeon (2024)
SheWatches 3 points 1 month ago.

Made in Taiwan with English Subs. I really enjoyed the main actor, Ethan Juan. For a 2 hour movie, you don’t really notice how long its going because it has a good mix of action & drama. His character is really likeable even though he’s the bad guy. If you don’t mind reading subs, I definitely recommend it for a watch.

Damsel (2024)
SheWatches 8 points 1 month ago.

This was great. Best dragon movie I’ve seen in a while and about time too. Well produced and a movie you can watch over and over.

Ricky Stanicky (2024)
SheWatches 3 points 1 month ago.

I thought it was hilarious. Wouldn’t let my kids watch it but I will definitely be watching it again. I needed a good comedy and there it was. I didn’t give it a 5/5, Ricky Stanicky did it.

Stranger in the Woods (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago.

It’s a low budget movie. Poor production. The story needed something more exciting, this was a bit dull and the dialogue needed a major overhaul.

Code 8: Part II (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago.

It was as good as the first one. Not epic but I would recommend it for a nice Sci-fi - better than the movies that have been hitting the screen lately for sure. I would watch it again. The little girl actress was great.

Lisa Frankenstein (2024)
SheWatches 3 points 1 month ago.

Like a bad high school comedy drama. it was a no for me.

Land of Bad (2024)
SheWatches 4 points 2 months ago.

It’s a pretty good movie. I wish they would have built up more background in the beginning but with all of the action, I’m sure they had to curb some things so it would all fit in the time allotted. I would recommend it.

The Shift (2023)
SheWatches 2 points 2 months ago.

About faith, love, belief, and hope. I think teens and adults would like this. I really like story and what the main character went through. Description says Sci-fi but I would add Action/Drama to that. Aren’t we all tested in our own ways? I will watch this one again, it seems to be the kind of movie where you might find something more every time you watch it. Recommended!

House of Ninjas (2024)
SheWatches 3 points 2 months ago.

What I liked about this series is that it has subplots in the story. It’s not just an action, it’s also a romance in a way. I suppose all stories have that feature but I like the way this one is laid out. The fight scenes are great without being unbelievable or over-the-top and the interaction between the family members is funny at times. It is in Japanese, but that makes it more realistic for me and I don’t mind reading subtitles.

Argylle (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 2 months ago.

Comedy, adventure, sort of romance, action, great actors, and a cat. This movie has everything. Definitely recommend it.

Domino Day (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 2 months ago.

A good series so far - just finished all 6 episodes. I hope they add more. I can see a 2nd season starting with the boyfriend. Think she’ll join their coven next season? Would be interesting to see how they deal with it if she does. Anyway, recommended.

Wish (2023)
SheWatches 3 points 2 months ago.

Wish was a beautiful story. I kept waiting for them to play the “wish upon a star” song, but it has its own music that’s just as sweet.

American Star (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 2 months ago.

The summary said this was a thriller. It is not. It is a drama and it was slow going. I liked the actors but the movie itself wasn’t very entertaining when you think you’re going to watch something with action and there’s no action, no sense of suspense. It’s a story and that’s about it.

The Underdoggs (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 2 months ago.

Fun movie. This is a show about a great group of kids but it’s not a kid show. When they say rated R for language, they mean it. I wouldn’t let little kids watch it. Aside from that though, the movie is hilarious and I got a big kick out of it. Snoop Dogg did a great job acting and he looked natural in that environment he portrayed. I will probably watch this one again for the fun of it.

The Walking Dead: Dead City (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 3 months ago.

I finally got around to watching this. I put it off for a while because I’m so sick of watching zombies but it wasn’t about the zombies in this series - had a better plot to it and it left me on a cliff-hanger. Looking forward to next season.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023)
SheWatches 5 points 3 months ago.

Found an HDRip and it was clear all the way around. I really enjoy watching Aquaman movies. This one was fun and action packed too. The slapstick type comedy that was inserted here and there was like “hmmm” but I’m keeping in mind this movie was also written for kids since its a PG-13. I would definitely recommend it for family night. Enjoy!

Mercy Falls (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 3 months ago.

iIt was okay -Good for a one time watch.

The Portrait (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 3 months ago.

Good movie - psychological horror /mild thriller, a little creepy. I liked the ending. Not a B-movie, it was produced well with decent actors and like the others mentioned, kind of a slow ride and builds momentum until it hits the climax. I disagree with the “dorian grey” analogy. Yes, there was a picture but it was not that story at all. Enjoy!

Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire (2023)
SheWatches 4 points 3 months ago.

Enjoyed every minute watching this movie. Epic. Well done. Looking forward to Part Two which I read is expected to be out some time in 2024.

Don't Suck (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 3 months ago.

I saw this and thought it was a horror/comedy and it kinda is since there’s a vampire - sort of. But, then I started watching it and thought what is this freaking B-movie?? Was gonna stop it and find something else but I watched a bit more and then I thought, I’m turning this off and again, I watched a bit more. Some of these scenes made me think that if this is a reflection of Hollywood then what they say about it is really true. Even so, I kept watching - for what, I don’[t know. I guess it was because one scene would be funny and I would watch a little more. All in all, I over-rated this on the star rating but I don’t know how to undo it. Anyway, I wanted to rate it 3/5 because it was pretty good for a B-movie but I wouldn’t say its a hit. Good show to watch while you’re folding clothes or doing background tasks.

Angel Baby (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 4 months ago.

This movie plays like it was made for television. Kind of weird mild thriller/horror but when I say mild, I mean like watered down taco sauce with no heat. Even so, it was okay if you don’t have anything else to watch.

Breakwater (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 4 months ago.

Action-drama movie, slight thriller. Very good story and actors. I enjoyed watching this one and recommend it for a watch. I probably rated it a little higher but how do you rate a 3.5 on this thing anyway. Enjoy!

Woman in the Maze (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 4 months ago.

You can determine what’s going to happen next, but all the fun is in getting there. A new way of revealing similar old stories. Rather than drop a hint, you should watch it and see what you think. I think it was an okay movie - fair-to-middlin.

It's a Wonderful Knife (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 4 months ago.

Funny, festive, and slightly frightening. Definitely not spine-tingling or blood-curdling but it was a fun watch and the actors were great.

Thanksgiving (2023)
SheWatches 2 points 4 months ago.

Oh yea! Thanksgiving fun movie. Probably the best Thanksgiving scary movie I’ve seen because they just don’t make a lot for Thanksgiving holidays. I didn’t think I would probably like it but almost right away, it sucked me in. I do recommend this one for a watch.

There's Something in the Barn (2023)
SheWatches 2 points 4 months ago.

This one goes on my Christmas movie list. I just finished watching it and laughed so hard I’m going to have to watch it again. Make a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy! By the way, Not a family show.

Silver and the Book of Dreams (2023)
SheWatches 2 points 4 months ago.

There are similar themes but it is show in a new way and I thought it was well done. I didn’t even notice I was reading subtitles. It’s a good watch.

What Happens Later (2023)
SheWatches 2 points 4 months ago.

I loved this movie. Meg Ryan and David Duchovny. Romance/Comedy. This came out in November but I never heard anything about it and it really is good movie. Grab a bowl of popcorn and curl up on the couch for this one.

Black Wood (2022)
SheWatches 1 points 4 months ago.

Seems like it was made for TV. It was an okay watch.

The Holdovers (2023)
SheWatches 4 points 4 months ago.

I don’t usually watch dramas but I thought I would give it a try and it turned out to be a quite touching movie. I did enjoy it and am recommending it for a watch if you like those drama type feel good movies.

The Kill Room (2023)

Enjoyed this one. It was alike a murder, mystery, drama, comedy kinda thing. Loved the ending. Will watch it again.

How did I miss seeing this movie come out? Glad I found it today - it was soooo good. You should watch this one for sure.

Wonka (2023)
grasshopper rex 2 points 5 months ago.

I sometimes do that when I see other people have given it a one star rating and I know there is zero chance they have actually watched it yet, just to balance things out. I usually go back after I have watched it to change my rating if need be. Folks that hold things in contempt prior to investigation are a pet peeve of mine.

SheWatches 1 points 5 months ago.

Ha! I knew it. I thought about doing the same thing! <3

Wonka (2023)

Hugh Grant as an Ooompa Loompa! Priceless.

SheWatches 1 points 5 months ago*.

No doubt it is going to be epic! Just curious but why did you give it a rating before its even been released?

Dashing Through the Snow (2023)

Funny and cute Disney movie. I caught myself laughing out loud and some of the stuff. I will definitely be watching this again. Perfect for family night.
