eeeeeh, yes and no? There’s a bunch of stuff that wouldn’t happen, scientifically/politically/economically here, but does for the sake of drama in this series. Not talking about the alien blue goop either.

Couldn’t they find one single Norwegian-American actor to fill this role…I mean someone believable? And an Indian actress as a State Department employee…instead of someone without even an American accent? Time to stop ruining movies with characters that don’t fit the roles. It distracts from the story.

Personally, I barely even noticed that. I was more concerned with the shoddy directing. I mean, seriously, every single last step the government made made things worse. I know the govt is generally incompetent, but this bad? They’d never hold together!

What didn’t add up? Only thing I can think of that was a plot hole is why would the Robot lie? If it hadn’t the failed experiment girl couldn’t have caused the damage she did. But accepting that the Robot thinks lying is a good thing and everything in the story adds up.

Somehow, even knowing the bot caused the apocalypse, I still like it more than the old broad. Fucking crab it a bucket bitch. I smiled when she died at the end. Gotta say though, its one of the more interesting robot apocalypses though. Robots purpose is to resurrect humanity after the end, so it CAUSES the end.

A fun watch and Ryan Reynolds has this perfect nice guy personality that makes anything he does funny. Major Deadpool energy here with a unique action comedy story. Only complaint is that some of the jokes didn’t land and even made me cringe, especially from the boss.
Everything about this movie was cringe.
