Fantastic costuming and settings helps this average storyline along. Loved it.
I was optimistic about this remake but it didn’t hit the mark. 3/5 at best. Some truly creepy bits, so may not be suitable for very young viewers. Worth a watch but I wouldn’t buy it.
Unusual, creepy, dark, funny, bizarre. An unmedicated man with a past finds the girl of his dreams, but then makes all the wrong choices.
Another under rated Purefoy movie that tells a good story. Definitely worth at least one watch. Solid 4/5.
It was a run of the mill apocalypse movie. Nothing fantastic. 3/5 but probably only because I like Butler. Worth a watch.
This movie is not for small or sensitive children as there definitely are frightening scenes. The animation is simple and so is the storyline, but it has its charm and is absolutely worth a watch. It may even become a family favourite. 3.75/5.
Delighted to find yet another Mythica in the series. I understand there are 5 in total to date: Quest for Heroes, Darkspore, Necromancer, Iron Crown and God Slayer. Looking forward to watching these last two.
It’s a very good but slow-paced drama, with utterly beautiful fashions and lovely music. A special nod to Daniel Day-Lewis for portraying this uptight driven character to perfection. Solid 4/5
It is a very slow movie that doesn’t really come together until the last quarter, which was a nice… twist. It could have been so, so much better. 1/4.
One of my favourite movies. If it is a dubbed version, the translation lends to the humour.
One of the best musketeer movies made. Young DiCaprio does an excellent job playing duel characters.
An excellent movie. Purefoy does a convincing job of being a Templar. This movie makes it into my top 3 for the genre.
A fun family favourite (1981). Along the same lines as other fantasy adventures like Baron Munchausen, Princess Bride and other whimsical tales. Written by Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam. Starring John Cleese, Sean Connery, Shelly Duvall, Peter Vaughan, David Rappaport, Ian Holm, Jack Purvis, Malcolm Dixon, Kenny Baker, Michael Palin and so many more.
This is a wonderful little movie.
