I put off watching this for so long. I thought it was going to be documentary style, like a found footage kind of thing. I don’t know why I thought that, I think the description just had that kind of feel. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it! I had a moment where I rethought the entire show, around the time George appears. He was offputtingly comedic the first round, but I decided to stick to it… and I’m glad I did. Can’t wait to watch more! The comedy part is super weird bc it’s like two very short scenes through a pretty serious show lol but it’s not frequently or long enough to really affect the show, at least in my opinion. It was strange, but easily passable bc they didn’t try to overdo it by making the whole show comedic. So, 4/5 stars for me!

I see people upset about the fact that the characters outfits are too awesome for actual blind people and wondering why so much detail to their outfits? The answer is obvious, it’s a tv show meant to entertain. We are the ones seeing these actors… that doesn’t make it silly, whatsoever… every show/movie in history has done that lol it’s for the viewers. Anyway, going into the show I expected to hate it. People who CAN see have to pretend to be blind and fight and survive. While it’s all a bit farfetched, it’s key to keep in mind that it’s a tv show meant to entertain. Not a true story, obviously. So, that being said, it’s actually VERY well done. There’s rarely a time where I’m like, “noooo, that’s dumb.” I also see questions about “what is the plot?” and I’m not sure I understand how you missed it, as it’s literally all the show is about and never once deviates from that plot… it’s mentioned in the first half of the first episode! All in all, it’s a very interesting story and I suggest trying it out or trying it out a second time with the idea that this is a show, it’s going to be tailored to entertain the viewer, not to be true-to-life every step of the way… if that makes sense :)

I really enjoyed this movie and am BEYOND ecstatic that they didn’t do all the musical numbers. I’m not happy with the overall message of the movie, but that’s personal preference I suppose. It’s a fabulous movie full of emotion. I blubbered like a baby and have watched it 5 times in the past two days (my autistic son is legit stuck on it right now, but hey… at least it’s a break from Inside Out & Mickey Mouse)

Great show that I tried repeatedly to watch but was always thrown off by the intro/credit song lol

It doesn’t match the show at all and confuses me every time I try to get into it. Doesn’t remind me of “See” at all, but I see a lot of comments about that show as well lol both shows are amazing by their own merits. Idk how you could compare them as they’re nothing alike lol but both shows are amazing on their own :)

I’m not sure what I expected, but I didn’t expect to fall asleep every time I tried to watch it… I still can’t finish it. I hope others enjoy it though! I really wanted to lol

I was so insanely upset by this movie lol this was a truly horrible movie and I never feel like this about films. But, it just got worse and worse. It could have been decent, it really could have. I couldn’t even attempt another movie after this, I was genuinely that upset about wasting so much time on such a potentially good movie that they slaughtered.

Gonna have to try again… I watched the first 30 minutes and was so confused and underwhelemed that I couldn’t even finish it. Apparently I am not the only one. I swear there has to be a first movie or something. It’s like they started in the midst of something and we were supposed to know what was going on or something… I’m just baffled.

I loved two of the actors so so much but am sad to see yet another “horror” film with literally no rhyme or reason or ending. I don’t like movies with no ending/reason. Knowing why is part of the whole reason I watch this kinda stuff. The rest is just filler. But nobody makes movies anymore that have a killer with a reason behind it anymore lol or even cares to identify them and explain wtf. Because I’m sure people would like to know. I normally say, “Every movie deserves a chance” but really don’t waste your time lol there was nothing good about this movie except waiting to find out what was happening…. which never happened.

Shouldn’t have named it Nancy Drew. None of the characters are even slightly similar to their actual book-counterparts, so don’t go into this seeing the title and expecting to get that lol this is literally nothing to do with or like Nancy Drew. Hopefully I can get past the names and watch it for what it is, high schoolers solving mysteries and going through tv-drama lol
