I remember one time I had lunch with the Soul Reaper. It was a Monday afternoon in Bristol, rainy, cloudy, romantic, a city I had never been to before & where I will never go again - but I was there exchanging nuclear secrets. I thought I recognized the guy portraying Brad Paxton! Gary Dourdan played Warrick Brown on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for 8 seasons and left and it came down to contract negotiations. The parties involved reportedly couldn’t meet a resolution, and it was announced that Dourdan would leave the show. I liked him and the character he portrayed and found his acting very good!

Totally unrealistic action and shooting. Over the top overexaggerated bad guys and an emotionless stone cold hero. Definitely one of the best pure fun action films ever made!

This is a common logical fallacy known as the “No True Scotsman” fallacy. Basically, any positive example of socialism is “not real socialism.” But any negative example is definitely the real deal, of course.
I have no horse in this race (I think it’s a false dichotomy) but you could at least avoid argumentative fallacies when making your point.

Surely if blocking traffic is a textbook form of terrorism you can find actual textbooks or dictionaries using blocking traffic as an example, or citing incidents of simply blocking traffic as domestic terrorism. Can I get one of those please?

Even if you did manage to retire at 50, that’s unusual in the US (even 20 years ago). With the way the economy has been for the past 25 years, and the fact that wages haven’t really increased (whether entry level/non-degree jobs or not)—- it’s pretty unlikely someone with ANY degree would be able to retire at 50 or 60 years old.
While I’ll agree that there’s far too much political influence (both left and right) in academia, I think studying women’s history and sexuality is a useful thing. Depends on the teacher and school, of course. It also depends on the student. Plenty of people go to school for the sake of learning rather than trying to get a high paying job. Unfortunately, most people simply cannot afford to do either.

meant to be a horror movie but was actually unintendedly funny. I am surely going to hell for laughing at this but it was really a great revenge comedy/horror. we all secretly wish we could do to idiots and punks horrible things but T guess we have to settle for living vicariously thru people like Salah. So good I watched it twice!
