Feels Good Man (2020)

This was truly moving. Nihilism is society’s downfall.

Jungle Cruise (2021)
jtmoustache -2 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Great movie, but there is a few loose ends I am curious why they did not resolve.. Are they really condamning the four conquistadors to an eternity of torture ?? And what did they do with the last petal ??

I would find it quite disturbing that they create the backstory of the conquistador, that he was only trying to save his daughter, and then condamn him to be slowly eaten by the forest, forever.

Anyways, new millenia, new codes. Pretty disturbing for somebody my age.

Black Widow (2021)

This was so bad.

Cruella (2021)
jtmoustache 4 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Emma Stone and Emma Thompson are really good in this one.
The moral of the story is that Cruella was not really evil then, at the opposite of the puppy drowning / fur coat wearing vilain she’s portrayed to be in all other novels. Our generation loves to glamorize vilain, criminals, especially those bordering on madness like the Joker and Cruella. I guess that formula will work for Loki as well… As enjoyable as it is nihilistic.

I feel so estranged from my generation, who gives 5 stars to absolute crap like the new star wars or star trek discovery, but find this movie bad.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017) S3 E4
jtmoustache 3 points 3 years ago.

Ok, this one was maybe my favourite of all discovery episodes all seasons combined. Still prety bad… but at least the melodrama felt a little bit more real than usual.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017) S3 E3

OH MY GOD

The writing is this one peaks in stupidity. How much more can you fake emotions, how much more can you create fake vilains. TNG writers are crying.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017) S3 E2
jtmoustache 1 points 3 years ago*.

Wow. Those writers really love to ruin a perfectly good episode with stupid and predictable twists.

Love and Monsters (2020)
Lexectro 5 points 3 years ago.

Great family adventure movie. Not too scary or gorey with a few laughs. Definitely Worth a watch.

PG-13

Star Trek: Discovery (2017) S3 E1
jtmoustache 1 points 3 years ago.

This is so badly writen … Where is the class and maturity of Star Trek gone ? Can’t they imagine a world where not every emotion is over the top and where adults do not behave like adolescents. I was so looking forward to this.
So disapointing.

Lovecraft Country (2020) S1 E3

This is what Netflix can’t do - good writing. If you want a message to be heard, at least do it right. Great show.

Brave New World (2020) S1 E9

moral of the story: communism sucks

If you have a perfect AI, advanced technologies and robotics able to generate any materials on earth, why would you make gammas and epsilons?

Me and my chooki truly enjoyed it, felt warm inside, like a good marmelade made with crunchies and soft meringue on top.
