Witch Hunt (1994)
ThinMan 6 points 8 days ago.

Fantastic WEIRDO film where there is a wormhole alternate universe of everything we would think we know about a gum-shoe detective!

mossryder 5 points 6 days ago.

Check out the sequel, Cast a Deadly Spell. Fred Ward takes the role of Lovecraft.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017) S4 E3

crying during an ST episode? not allowed! 5/5

Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
mossryder 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Great movie, although it completely abandoned the 80s GB vibe about 2/3rds through.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017) S4 E1

Best. Episode. Ever.

What If...? (2021) S1 E9

What if I wasn’t wrong to have Dr Strange as my favourite Marvel character 🤓… I will definitely miss this show. Onwards! Multiverse here we come.

mossryder 2 points 2 years ago.

Strange is the bestest!I love the mcu version, but still not nearly as cool as the comics!

Truth Seekers (2020)
mossryder 1 points 2 years ago.

“Get ready to be rocked with some bad news. ‘Truth Seekers’ will not be returning for a second season. ‘Truth Seekers’ has not been renewed, which is a massive kick in the willy for me. We really put our all into this, our heart and soul and blood in some cases — so to not come back is really sad for us. It’s a shame.”

Foundation (2021)
sigh 19 points 2 years ago.

If anyone wants to know, if you want to read all the books in galaxy chronological order, be warned prelude might have spoilers for the rest after! There can be 15 up to 26. Here’s the list I nerdily compiled:

·End of Eternity (Harlan’s timeline to colonization, optional)
¡Complete Robot (anth incl. I, Robot so either is fine)
¡Lucky Starr Series (6 books mentions laws of robotics, optional)
¡Nemesis (optional)
¡Caves of Steel
¡Naked Sun
¡Robots of Dawn
¡Robots and Empire
¡Stars, Like Dust (asimov goofed with the order in prelude)
¡Currents of Space
¡Pebble in the Sky
¡Prelude to Foundation
¡Forward the Foundation
¡Foundation
¡Foundation and Empire
¡Second Foundation
·Foundation’s Edge
¡Foundation and Earth
His friends then wrote with permission of family (not as good but fun)
¡Foundations Fear
¡Foundation and Chaos
¡Foundations Triumph

New to it?
TO AVOID SPOILERS in order of reader discovery you can read the Foundation series:
~ The original Foundation Trilogy
~ Foundation’s Edge
~ Foundation and Earth
~ Prelude to Foundation
~ Forward the Foundation

Theres also a weird, unlicensed ‘sequel’ set after all those called Psychohistorical Crisis by Donald Kingsbury, if anyone’s interested.

What We Do in the Shadows (2019) S3 E6
mossryder 4 points 2 years ago.

one of the best eps yet!

What If...? (2021) S1 E8
mossryder 2 points 2 years ago.

Awful episode. SO MANY inconsistencies and contradictions.

Eli Roth's History of Horror (2018)
mossryder 1 points 2 years ago.

Its no SK’s World of Horror, but almost! Great show.

Upright Citizens Brigade (1998)
MP8219 2 points 2 years ago.

Absolute classic sketch comedy that nobody watched except for me.

mossryder 5 points 2 years ago.

I watched it as it aired, too. The structure of the show itself(based on the Harold/Asssscat! form) is great: it works as the episode, season, and series. Pretty cool. For some reason “Good place Arkansas!” is the most memorable for me.

Foundation (2021)
w0lfie 5 points 2 years ago*.

I first read The Foundation Trilogy in the early ‘60s, which means I’ve waited over 60 years for this!!!
As a matter of interest are, I think 3 more books, but the last one Dr. Asimov wrote(the 4th if memory serves) ties together EVERY ScFi book he ever wrote, including the Robot books.
The last books were written by other authors of note, without digging them out of my cherished library I cannot remember their names

mossryder 4 points 2 years ago.

Yeah, the others were prequels and shadow books (Brinn Bear & Benford?). Great books, but they kind of break the series.

Foundation (2021)
Wolfie D 3 points 2 years ago.

like a mix mash of Dune & lord of the rings! Not my cuppa tea!

mossryder 5 points 2 years ago.

…and the book(s) are absolutely nothing like either.

Foundation (2021)
kerfy 6 points 2 years ago.

it sucks .. big time..

mossryder 6 points 2 years ago.

It is bad. Should be “Inspired by…”

Doom Patrol (2019)
mossryder 2 points 2 years ago.

3 eps in…best season yet!

What If...? (2021) S1 E7
mossryder 1 points 2 years ago.

well, i guess there had to be at least one dud..

Star Wars: Visions (2021)
mossryder 1 points 2 years ago*.

Bad anime. Very kiddie. Stories and vibe don’t feel like the sweu.

Dark Side of the '90s (2021)
Wilsson02 1 points 2 years ago.

Why is it dark side? I dont see any dark in those topics.

mossryder 1 points 2 years ago.

Also, the 90s aren’t generally known as some idyllic decade to begin with. politics, economy, civil rights. All a terrible mess.

What If...? (2021) S1 E1
mossryder 2 points 2 years ago.

Whoa, that animation is awful! It looks like they tried to cover up the bad CG with rotoscoping? What a mess. Might as well just do a motion comic.

The Suicide Squad (2021)
mossryder 3 points 2 years ago.

This one is actually pretty decent.

Black Widow (2021)
mossryder 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Worst Marvel Studios release yet. Over-long, under-acted. No big reveals, no cameos.

Loki (2021)
mossryder 2 points 2 years ago.

4/5 Thank goodness this isn’t another “WandaVision 2/5”. This has good writing, acting, and direction!

Song of the South (1946)
NoelCoyotebleu 0 points 3 years ago.

I’m glad this is here. I heard that it was being pulled over PC issues. Thank you linkers. I loved the Zip pa de do dah song when I was little.

mossryder 3 points 2 years ago.

Because of the unabashed racism in the film, Disney never released this on home media in the US. No one pulled anything.
