waaay under the radar when released. If you don’t get titillated by the horror of consensual reality unraveling in style (not top 40’s style), this heady chunk of fiction will fall flat and appear to appeal to noir comic book cliches. Being more art than film, it will always fall short of mainstream success, which is why it is so good. No pandering to the preppy majority.

23:35 says, “I can see.” Captured voices are kinda like Kenny’s from South Park. If the attention you pay is correct, both can be understood. Kenny’s voice clarifies with more alcohol!
If this one does not make you cry like a baby, the integrity of your soul may be in question.
Too bad Rob Zombie didn’t get in on this. If you don’t like superhero stuff, this is prolly the best superhero flick ever!
Absolutely loved it i was really surprise to see peole hating on this film
Funny how intelligent, creative content always stirs up the slow crowd in a bad way. Usually an indication of a good film!
It blows my mind just HOW financing for SOOO much rubbish happens. Gambling addicts, for instance, throw away alot of money. All the bad productions with bad acting, bad writing, bad screenplays, bad directing require financial investments! I need to get in the business of making shit. Apparantly its quite profitable.
Really nice! More dots to connect. Enough of these dots and established history of humanity can go right into the dustbin.
Last time Star Trek made me cry was The Wrath of Khan in theaters!
I just…. can’t concieve following this rabbit hole out the other side. They did model themselves after sci-fi and existing religions. Shpooky Shaggy!
Amazing follow up to Pillars of the Earth, Thank You Ken Follet and all involved.
I feel the compulsive need to gripe , whine and complain in an attempt to cover up my instability and insecurity. Since others think this is funny and fresh, I must stomp my feet and channel my rage at…..BORAT! HIGH FIEEEVE!
The assemblage approved by the council of nicea in service of the emperor Constantine, left out a lot of good stuff. Why bind your perception to a single color of a narrow band of one spectrum?
I would love to see a W.W.F. spin-off featuring bible thumping battles in full costume with authentic biblical names. Make wrastlin’ respectable again!
I lost interest before the end of the second season; and paid very little attention to the second half of the season.
Watched the youtube video recommended by Jade to catch up a bit.
Still just a rather instant no-go on the 3rd season.
Not enjoyable at all to me; and this type of scifi AI genre is one of my favorites. Its just so…bland at this point. Nothing is really interesting, just seems to be delusions of grandeur with big words & big ideas but very little actual substance. To each their own. As for me, Dropped.
A house disassociated from its foundation. It’s got a few more foundations to choose from. good stuff
Long anticipated update to the 1994 Stephen King Classic, The Stand miniseries.
This is the event of the year for anyone who went to school with a copy of Stephen King’s 800-page novel weighing down their backpack. There’s plenty of thinkpieces on the themes of weaponized viruses and opposing forces of good and evil.
i still have my tattered copy that went everywhere, till finished!
the book was so good i couldn’t watch more than 5 min of the 1994 farce when it previewed. in this case, a remake is the best thing to happen since the book came out.
So much sci-fi goes so wrong. Infini does it right. It has that cheesy sci-fi channel vibe, but solid acting, good editing and effects keep it quite watchable. Thanks for the comment Tisiphone, I don’t give sci-fi a chance when it tries too hard to be sci-fi.
If this movie doesn’t blow your mind, there may be a significant amount of grey matter shrinkage. Imagine the greatest mysteries, solved. De ja vu, free will, predestination, reincarnation, the multiverse, holographic reality, quantum mechanics and….. the afterlife; all demystified. This work of fiction neatly ties loose ends from distant antiquity to cutting edge theoretical physics. It is now my go to conceptual explanation for life, the universe and everything, almost!
This made me a Ron Pearlman fan. Super wacky film. 10/10 Any description from me will only diminish the joy that is The City of Lost Children! Pythonesque in its absurdity.
