It was nice to watch a slasher where I liked most if not all of the characters who were dying.

Evil (2019) S2 E1

that racist trash gone is good, was no storyteller, just racist trash

skybluedog 2 points 3 years ago.

I am sorry what are you talking about? I do not know if we are watching the same show.

American Gods (2017) S3 E6
Rasnac 5 points 3 years ago.

At this point, I am only watching this show because I am a completionist.

skybluedog 5 points 3 years ago.

I am right there with you. This season is an absolute mess that seems to have no idea what story it wants to tell. A far cry from the first season that is for certain.

Legacies (2018) S3 E3
SheWatches 1 points 3 years ago.

I hate musicals. I love this show but I am not going to torture myself by watching a musical and I don’t care who is singing it. If musicals are your thing, Enjoy!

skybluedog 1 points 3 years ago.

You missed absolutely nothing. It was dreadful.

The Stand (2020) S1 E7
whatmywifedoesntknow -4 points 3 years ago.

im still trying to figure out why im watching this , it is a bit of a yawn fest so far

skybluedog 0 points 3 years ago.

I feel the same way. A 6 minute walking scene is just lazy.

His Dark Materials (2019) S2 E7

Was this the season two finale?

DC's Stargirl (2020) S1 E12
Shade_Chylde 0 points 3 years ago.

I have been an avid comic reader since the 80’s with collections passed on from my dad from the 1960’s. My age is not a question and insults aren’t necessary. Great, you quoted “Wikipedia”. Cerebro was a tool for FINDING Mutants (or the occassional Human), NOT for mind controlling millions of people. Without insult, or ANY animosity, your logic is a dumpsterfire. Machines that control minds on a mass scale is a comic-book trope. A Dime a dozen, and this particular comparison is LOOSE at best.

skybluedog 1 points 3 years ago.

All I am saying is the design and the room is an EXACT rip-off of all the depictions of Cerebro. You can argue the rest but it looks exactly the same.

DC's Stargirl (2020) S1 E12
Euringer 2 points 3 years ago.

TBH I didn’t think about Cerebro when I saw him/the chamber, didn’t consider the similarities until I saw people calling it a ripoff. With that in mind I think “Device to amplify telepathy” is a vague enough concept to just brush it aside personally; but if they were doing a visual homage to Cerebro feel free to point it out.

skybluedog 3 points 3 years ago.

I actually don’t mind because as the device goes its nothing that new. I was shocked to see the visual which was really copy and pasted directly from the comics and more so the movies.

starshineontop 2 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

It’s sad that they had to steal from the X-MEN. LOL, but the show is fun to watch.

skybluedog 3 points 3 years ago.

They blatantly ripped off Cerebro Professor Xavier’s device used to amplify his telepathic powers.

Cursed (2020)
Blueozzie -2 points 3 years ago*.

Damn they really are swinging hard as hell to the other side with all these female lead shows releasing constantly, executives are scared af of the PC movement, it’s not a bad thing it’s just really funny to see from the outside

skybluedog 5 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Why is it that when there is a show that deviates from the norm it has to be because of “the PC movement”? I never think that way when I see something new so I wonder what leads a person to looking at it through that particular prism?

second try at watching this episode. it almost brought me to tears. tears of boredom. this one ended surprisingly well.

skybluedog 1 points 3 years ago.

I agree wholeheartedly. This episode was probably the worst one thus far.

Though now I own it so I don’t think that’s too bad.

Sorry for the misunderstanding I bought it on Google Play for $19.99.

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020)
skybluedog 4 points 4 years ago.

I actually purchased this last night and watched it and I 100% recommend you do the same. It was worth every penny. One of their best animated films that I would watch again. I hope they can work towards applying this writing to their live action movies.

Amityville: A New Generation (1993)
BellaMia1 -1 points 5 years ago.

The more I watch those “Amityville” movies, the worse they get. No, this one didn’t bring anything new to the famous name-sake. The “plot” was generic, it’s been done so many times before, even at that time. So much more could’ve been done with the mirror as a conduct, but the director and writers failed to go anywhere with it. The result is a boring movie, that is not scary the least bit. Pass your turn.

skybluedog 0 points 4 years ago.

I really appreciate these reviews you have been leaving. I watched the first two and thought I would watch more after looking up how many there are. I now am just going through them to read your reviews. Not enough people leave good reviews so I appreciate it.

Charmed (2018) S2 E12
skybluedog 1 points 4 years ago.

I never thought when Charmed came back on air that I would watch a show about three witches with basically no power and no brains. Ending of the second season and I am hugely disappointed with what has been given to us thus far. It is bad decision on top of bad decision interspersed with major changes to the canon.

The Outsider (2020) S1 E4
Tiger8me 1 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I knew they were heading in that direction when I kept hearing the song…”Time is on my side, yes it is.”…lol. Can you name the movie that kept playing that Rolling Stones song?

skybluedog 0 points 4 years ago.

Fallen! I love that movie. I just learned that this is based on a Stephen King book. I went to purchase it but it had some really bad reviews which is surprising because I love the show thus far.

Anguish (1988)
skybluedog 0 points 4 years ago.

If you are at all curious just don’t. This movie is a complete mess and not even an entertaining one.

The Outsider (2020) S1 E1
skybluedog 3 points 4 years ago.

That was a fantastic first episode!

The Witch in the Window (2018)
BellaMia1 1 points 5 years ago.

Oh, I’m sorry. Fell asleep while watching this borefest. Wasn’t it supposed to be a horror movie? Riiight. Too much talking, not enough substance to keep our attention all the way through. And for me, the interaction between the father and his bratty and annoying son, did not feel natural. So was their reactions to strange events. Had to fast-forward to get to something. And even by then, I didn’t give a damn. There was nothing satisfying about the whole thing. Cannot recommend this turkey.

skybluedog -1 points 4 years ago.

Thank you for this I was going to watch it.

Evil (2019) S1 E3
rick ives 2 points 4 years ago.

I really like this series i hope it continues

skybluedog 0 points 4 years ago.

As do I. It has nicely filled the spot that The Exorcist has left.

For the People (2018) S2 E4
skybluedog -1 points 5 years ago.

This show is good but unlike most law shows, I am bummed out more time than I am happy at the end of an episode.

Captive State (2019)
skybluedog 2 points 5 years ago.

Saw in theatres on Sunday. I would not say the movie was bad per se, my biggest complaint was the pacing. At times it was hard to bond with the characters. That being said I thought it was well acted. While the plot is not incredibly original, it did do a decent job holding my attention.

For the People (2018) S2 E2
skybluedog 1 points 5 years ago.

This was a fantastic episode. I hope the show continues with this kind of spirit.

A Madea Family Funeral (2019)
Keymawe -3 points 5 years ago.

Garbage

skybluedog -4 points 5 years ago.

LOL you say that as if we had any doubt. I genuinely liked Diary of a Mad Black Woman, the rest have been festering garbage.

The Prodigy (2019)
skybluedog 2 points 5 years ago.

I saw this film in the theatres, its not worth your time. Plot is and messy filled with people making laughably bad decisions at every turn.

Get Real (1999)
skybluedog 1 points 5 years ago.

One of my favourite movies. I rented this so many times from my local Blockbuster that they let me keep it.

Young Justice (2010) S3 E10
skybluedog 1 points 5 years ago.

A big thanks to whomever is uploading the hd quality versions of the show.

Titans (2018) S1 E5
skybluedog 2 points 5 years ago.

The show is just okay in my opinion. I am not wild about some of the changes made to characters such as Starfire being a stone cold killer and just mean. Also she has worn the same AWFUL outfit for way too long.

American Horror Story (2011) S8 E8
vdblack 0 points 5 years ago.

they cant all be great, and this one was important, it tells how he came to power and got the robot ms mead. lol im sure there are chapters of ur life that are boring.

skybluedog 2 points 5 years ago.

Not sure why you feel the need to be hostile. While there are most assuredly chapters of my life that have been boring, the point does not hold up as my life is not a 10 episode season limited to 52 minutes of play….

American Horror Story (2011) S8 E8
skybluedog 1 points 5 years ago.

After how amazing the last few episodes have been this one felt boring.
