these 4 talking heads sharing usa propaganda, too bad they invite WAR MONGER Bolton who says ‘no easy days if you want to live in freedom’. we are doomed with these folks.
14:02 look at his & her coffee cups _ notice the crack ! 👀
Awesome adaption of the Broadway musical. You can see Modern Dance and old school kicks here in 1967. Vivid use of colour and shapes. @58:00 is the iconic live Manhattan walk scene 👌
This episode reminded me of ESQUIRE magazine with the tabbed products / price conceit. The season takes itself less seriously with a lot more humourous scenarios and cultural references.
Stephen and David Koepp ( screen writer extraordinaire !) capture our ZEITGEIST and lead us up the dystopian ladder. Light weight Stephen with incredibly fluid takes. Thumbs up indeed.
the direction and mise en scene has definitely improved. Christian is a hoot, the Judges are meh. this is a guilty pleasure of mine.
finally viewed this one. A quality traditional low key vampire horror film.
Playboy produced film early James Toback One of my faves of the NYC mafia genre
🤣 Wags and Stu’s EAGLES tribute band 🤣 he is a character
Just before I watch the first episode I say it sounds like SMILF (2017-19)
a young Diane Lane and Conrad Bain of ‘Different Strokes’ fame co-star.
RIP Louie Anderson. He truly embodied Christine Baskets & kudos to Martha Kelly (Martha) for making Chip seem tolerable.
Jeezus, Amy Bryant and writers parody Ted Cruz perfectly 🤣. James Austin Johnson mimics Trump brilliantly 🤣
cannot wait to view this obscure production made with Canadian Film tax credits and usually one or two known US or European actors. It is notable for the early top billing of DD WINTERS aka VANITY - the late PRINCE’s late protégée.
Sometimes the nonsense Hollywood tries to sell is just too much to swallow. They never would have sold those drugs back for a mere 100k extra. Once they had cut that ‘pure’ heroin it would have sold for far more than that.
Too many incongruities for sure 🤣 at least Laura Linney is worth watching👌
On the day OZARK returns Billions is an afterthought, lol. Enjoyed the episode and contrarian plot 👌
Love this one! Bridgett Everett is such a natural and sympathetic. a feel good series indeed

strong segment with father and Angel re-bonding. another fine episode.
this should be required viewing for anyone feelin blue. Just what I need. Regardless it is corporate _ these guys are good.
👌. Solid cast of vets & young method actors filmed in beautiful CINEMASCOPE. One if not the first Hollywood movie to incorporate the martial arts.
How does anyone, especially a Jewish develop humor relating to the horrific tragedy of the holocaust ?
ESPECIALLY is the key word. Gallow’s humour is a tradition dating back to - wait for it : the gallows! If any other people attempt ‘holocaust humour” they are called anti-semetic like Donnedieu of France around 2010.
With the late Bobby Sherman in a role that is eerily prescient !?! And the weird Michael J Pollard showing his Method acting chops. 👍
Happy to have found this quality private detective series of 1965 from Aaron Spelling. Anne Francis is a doll here (Honor Blackman of Goldfinger was asked but declined) as Honey West. Nice B&W mise en scene and photography thruout.
AIP movie with requisite ‘stock footage’ inserts & great score and theme song by in house music producers Les Baxter & Al Simms.
what is with the Jack Wagner movies dump ? he was not as talented as Jason Bateman - history now proves.
quality animated series with a fun premise & witty dialogue my fave Hodgman project.
any Charles Nelson Reilly is a blessing !
