I wonder if they offered to sacrifice this episode since it was the obvious choice. There are so many scenes in other episodes that are way more racist than the alleged blackface in this episode. All of them come from Pierce, obviously.

Not really “spoilers”, just baseless theory and guessing, BUT…
Anyone else think they’re setting Stripesy and Starman up to have been a couple? EVERY TIME Courtney mentions Starman being her dad, Pat instantly shoots back with a “He’s not”, “He can’t be”, etc.
Also just more guessing, but Pat’s son I bet isn’t even his. I’d say he was the son of one of the JSA members that died, and Pat just took him to raise and keep safe. I just didn’t remember if Pat mentioned an ex in the first episode, but he could have.
