While the ending was a bit unusual, that in itself seemed fitting for Red. I appreciate that he was not taken out by the hand of another human, to me, that would seem like he was hunted down like an animal, but to be taken out by a strong, powerful, majestic animal just seemed more fitting, like Red and the Bull were equals, and he went out respectfully.

I agree. Sad ending, but it was a great series! I wish the ending had more with the Task Force before it concluded.
A mini-series that could’ve been so much better if they hired competent and experienced writers and directors. Instead of hire from what gender you are. So many plot-holes it’s laughable. For example; Reva for one, none of her actions in the entire show makes any sense. She was killing innocent people and now all of a sudden she doesn’t want to torture and murder people? Why would Reva reveal her powers against some random guy for food if she was trying to stay under the radar? Why would Owen think he can defeat an inquisitor and not just run? Why would Obi-Wan suddenly get his full force power back because of a Leia flashback? Luke running away from someone with a lightsaber, yet no memory of that event in A New Hope? Why would Owen want Obi-Wan to stay away when his whole family were nearly just slaughtered? How can Vader feel Obi-Wan flying off in a ship in the middle of space, but can’t feel him creeping up behind him on a deserted planet? Etc. Etc. And Disney making star wars into The Last Airbender? The only good scenes were the ones they ‘’stole’’ from what Dave Filoni already had done in the animated series and from video-games like ‘Fallen Order’. I would’ve been happy with just the last two scenes where Obi-Wan says hello there to Luke and when Qui-Gon Jinn appears. The rest is just plain bad writing and bad acting. But hey a character doesn’t die from a lightsaber stabbing to the chest if it serves bad writing and the fact that it’s a way to serve Disney’s gender politics right?
It was a disappointing conclusion. The series itself could have been MUCH better; however, this IS Disney we’re talking about — who proved, without a doubt — that it had the ability to totally ruin a Star Wars trilogy.
They did the same thing to Luke in the final trilogy. All that jedi training, you think they’d be zen masters and made of stronger stuff. Instead they’re bereft with guilt and crippled by PTSD. Humanizing super heroes sells comic books but these characters have been so hobbled by the writers it’s hard to watch.
True. The Luke that kicked ass in Return of the Jedi was basically castrated in the Disney trilogy. So now, it looks like Obi Wan is now a whimpering scaredy-cat.
It really annoys me that “Ben” is now weak because he cut himself off from the force and now is getting spanked all over the place. The episode wasn’t bad, especially in the fact that it keeps in line with the timeline between Stars Wars Episodes 3 and 4; however, the ineptness of Obi-Wan is really getting on my nerves.
This was NOT a good episode. Should have been longer with a little more intrigue. Major disappointment.
That episode was TOO SHORT! Needed to be a 2-hour episode. Too much good stuff going on
Major disappointment. Three episodes for a simple incident that was blown out of proportion.
Right now is the PERFECT time to binge-watch this. I wish it had more episodes!
The opening banter scene - so very Waititi, his humor was all over this episode and that just made it nothing short of fantastic. I could watch an entire series based just on those 2 Stormtroopers in the opening.
The stormtrooper part was funny. They still can’t shoot worth a crap! LOL
Don’t waste your time or bandwidth. Disney ruined Star Wars with three consecutive disappointments. Disney CANNOT make Star Wars movies. Why the hell did they have to put a same-sex kiss in the damn movie?! What the hell was the plot!? It was awful.
Better than 1 and 2 but not as cool as Sith yet. MUUUUUCH better than 7 and 8 though. Probably 9 too. I don’t even have any interest in seeing that. This is Star Wars for me now.
I’m with you on that one, darklighter1. It’s getting better with each episode. And I, too, share the same sentiment about the upcoming part 9.
This is awesome. Needs to be longer than 60 minutes run time (or twice a week instead of once). It would be one heck of an awesome movie, if they decide to make it big screen.
Pretty nice. I hope they work in Clark and Chavez into future episodes.
best show ever
I agree! Loved the show, and wish there were more episodes.
