After watching this film, I have to admit…. I GOT BORED. The special effects looked like a video game. The story kept skipping around. The dialogue was literally predictable. The only thing good was the characters returning together…..even with Ben Affleck which I can’t stand as Batman…..

I know there are heavy DC fans that may enjoy this movie and I hope you do. DC Comic movies need the production level of Marvel films. I don’t believe this was it at all…but the ending was nice.

While I still don’t understand the concept[right word?] of this series so to speak, it was interesting enough that I watched all of it and enjoyed it for the most part, I’m just not a sci fi or comic book enthusiast, but the family like storyline of love and taking care of each other I did get. To me I guess they did wrap up most of the questions so I call it a finished show, but I believe they left just enough string hanging loose that they can either continue with it down the road or make a spinoff, time will tell. But I like the Olsen girl and Kat Dennings so it made it easier to watch. Still don’t get why it needs 6 mins worth of ending credits each episode, but it wasn’t a deal breaker according to the ratings, so good job writers/producers lol. Not sure what it means, but there is literally a 2 minute lil clip AFTER the total end credits[literally last 2 minutes] so stay tuned for that, if you know what it means it may help on further episodes of the series, I don’t know myself, but I did watch it and it was calming, beautiful and maybe enlightening for those who understand the whole show. I read about it in the above comments before I watched it so I followed lead. Still don’t get it but it was a fun watch. Thanks uploaders for the links.

After watching this movie last night, I must say I was very disappointed. Although it is a watchable movie, it’s definitely not on my top 100. The overall picture was ok. The writing and acting was bad especially in the know-it-all 20-somethings. When I root for the bad characters than there is a problem. Overall 3/5 stars.

This is a beautifully informed series. It does have some bias commentary but what people don’t understand is slavery and servitude was a part of live thousand of years before America’s slavery begun. For back then, it was a normal until someone like Lincoln changed it. They mention how Lincoln didn’t want slaves to be colonized with the white Americans and how he emancipated people for economic reasons. Unsure if he believe in freedom of slaves or maybe he stated what he did in order to get people on board. If I was a slave back then, I would not want to live or be around slave owners.

I’d choose colonization elsewhere over being enslaved. I’m looking forward to upcoming episodes.

After watching all three eps, I was disappointed in series altogether. The first ep was a surprise but the 2nd and 3rd was very obvious and poorly laid out with no suspense and extreme boredom.

as a HHHHUUUUUGGGEEEEEEE of Silence of the Lambs I was super excited to hear they were making this series but with fear of disappointment as it has been almost 30 years since the movie was released.

Despite all the characters are filled by new actors (of course), the insertion of movie shots (i believe are original) are great to see. I’m having trouble connecting to old characters like Clarice Stallings, Catherine Martins (which actual actor is in current series Big Sky) and Ruth Martins as I want original actors so bad.

For Clarice, I wish the actress would work on the accent more. Overall she’s ok. A few characters are giving her a hard time despite Clarice caught and killed Buffalo Bill alone and saved Catherine Martins. Only a year has passed..they need to be a little more sensitive to her but cautious.

I will definitely watch at least next few eps to see how the show progresses. I hope I end up liking it.

Either I’ve watched too many disaster movies or I’m just difficult to please, but I found it to be a cliched, predictable borefest. I hadn’t seen any reviews or trailers, yet managed to call the entire thing within the first 10 minutes.
It’s more Drama/Action, and still the action was a bit meh. As others have said, there is far more entertainment to be had watching 2012 - Hell, even Geostorm was better.

Watched the first two episodes and found the only thing good and believable was the nude back shot of Hunter Doohan in ep1. Other than that…there were too many coincidences……..makes it unrealistic and uninterested.
