well the effects were ok but hollow earth? uhm jumping from an apparent 1g to an inverted 1g is ludicrous, someone did not know or care how gravity works. plot was …. well hour in and there isn’t really any. booring and stupid

this may be unpopular and the movie is a very well made, big budget blockbuster with fantastic effects , but jebus those scientists were dumb
why is this in featured ? its very old - from 2005.saw it 10 years ago . I thought it must be a sequel , but nope
Wow really? That sounds awesome! I am definitely going to look into that! Thank you so much for the recommendation thomcat as I am also a big reader and am always looking for the next great read lol. Cheers sir!
you will love it , the ending is really good. I would also recommend to you “ the reefs of earth” or “past master” both by r. a. lafferty, a very unique writer , one of my faves. enjoy!
it is said : the optimist believes we live in the best of all possible worlds, while the pessimist fears this may be true.
I consider this a hidden gem mashing up the sci-fi AND Viking Age genres..don’t know how else to describe it lol…I love all movies set in the Viking eras and i also love all things sci-fi…this has BOTH! Not only that, but the Alien monster looks damn cool and is pretty darn scary lol. I come back to this movie every time i see it, so i WILL be watching this tonight. If you like sci-fi and vikings like i do, then give this a shot.
hi you might try reading “king david’s spaceship” by jerry pournelle . its a great sci fi where aliens land and fight medievil knights (and lose)
concept likely from Cyril m kornbluth’s sci-fi short story “ the marching morons” voted one of best novellas 1965 .its a classic mandatory for any serious sci-fi reader.
its from Robert Heinlein’s short story “ - all you zombies “ . an amazing writer , he wrote many of the classic sci fi memes. other movies from his books “starship troopers” and “puppet masters”
why is this not in featured ? big budget, hard science, extremely well done. superb acting .great sets
