A great send off to an unforgettable charactor and actor.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024)
un1que1 1 points 1 month ago.

This still has the same flavors as the movie however I think it takes watching all 8 episodes to feel it. It definitely has some parts that make you shake your head but overall it’s a good action flick. I hope we see a second season so it can really take off.

XIII: The Series (2011)

OoOo.. I don’t know. I’m sure someone could, but would it turn out as well… I haven’t seen this in like a decade. I think I liked it.

un1que1 1 points 2 months ago.

I really enjoyed it but I think it may take a decade for my heart to be able to take it again.

One hell of a ride. I dont think you could pour more different genres in a series if you tried!

Who is Erin Carter? (2023)
AmieWarren 2 points 7 months ago.

This was sort of boring until episode 4, then things really picked up. I’d say don’t give up on it before then, because it’s really sort of rip-roaring action-packed from 4 on.

un1que1 2 points 4 months ago*.

I would have to agree. Episode 4 is where it begins. Thanks for inspiring me to hang on.

Killing It (2022)

It’s a lesson in Capitalism at the finest level if you pay attention. It’s also funny. Kinda reminds me of the TV show Weeds. It’s worth the ride.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022) S2 E7

Okay I finally gave in and I’m glad I did. It was definitely entertaining and almost felt too short. I’m glad I gave it a shot. Im not sure I could handle a musical either. Anyone else notice the play on the acronym TOS?

The Blacklist (2013) S10 E22
greyfur 1 points 8 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Nothing to inherit, he dismantled the whole thing over the course of the last few episodes. And he WAS the Blacklist, got rid of his enemies and a lot of the people he just flat out didn’t like, and for good reason, a lot of them were just pure evil to start with, and he was in a good position to get rid of them for good, and have someone else do it for him. Nothing for Agnes to do….

Wouldn’t be surprised if when she got older the wasn’t some big surprise bank account waiting for her though, but of course that’s just pure fantasy….

un1que1 1 points 8 months ago.

Wishful thinking for sure!! but it wouldnt be the first time Red used misdirection to achieve a higher goal. :-)

The Blacklist (2013) S10 E22
Gnostic_Alchemist 1 points 8 months ago.

Good question

un1que1 1 points 8 months ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

Maybe Agnes inherits the Reddington empire and the blacklist. She just picks up where red left off but she comes off as more of a Sydney Bristow (Alias) type chartacter.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022) S2 E4
DownrightDebonaire 1 points 8 months ago.

It was very hard to watch because I wear headphones. I get that they might have wanted the audience to experience it but it was torture. This episode needs to have a warning. I had to keep lowering my cans then it was too low to hear dialogue.

un1que1 2 points 8 months ago.

Exactly. For me it seems they could have made the same point with some bass drums or something less excrutiating. I still enjoyed the episode though but ouch!

I was a kid of the 1960’s and me and my brother watched ST every week. We loved the summer reruns too. But when I rewatched all of the seasons a year ago, I noticed something about JTK/Shatner, he seemed a bit racist. It was very subtle and not sure if the fault lied with the writers or Shatner himself or the director. In one scene Uhura falls down and he walks right past her and doesn’t help her up. Then in another episode a white female stumbles and he helps her up. As I said it was very subtle and as a kid I didn’t notice it. But we’re now seeing in all spinoffs that racism/discrimination is being handled and addressed. Yup, both still happening in 23rd century.

un1que1 2 points 8 months ago.

Is it also possible to conclude that the white woman was being portrayed as weak therefore needing assistance, while there was an attempt to make the black woman appear strong and not needing help?

Poker Face (2023)
grasshopper rex 4 points 1 year ago.

A female Columbo murder mystery of the week style show that’s even done in the inverted detective story format.

I’m impressed that, like Aubrey Plaza, Lyonne has been able to move past being stereotyped as a quirky comedienne into serious acting roles and even producing. I’d love to see the both of them collaborate on something.

un1que1 3 points 1 year ago*.

Nail on the head! A beautiful upgrade to Columbo. Standing on the shoulders of a Giant.

Seriously?? An episode without Raymond Reddington? They should have left this one on the cutting room floor. They Could have at least picked a more interesting character.

I’m not sure if it is the Disney+ aspect or the description that made this come across as being cheesy idea. Either way I am glad I gave it a shot. The writing and the timing on this is really good.
