First episode comes across as having significant misandristic overtones. Iām hoping this is just the foundation being set and better and more fun moments are to come! Weāll just have to wait and see.

Itās the best Bruce Willis movie Iāve seen in a while. The lead guy Devon Sawa carries the film giving a gritty performance. All said and done it was ok. Yes itās not polished and has a few rough edges but worth a one time watch.

I think this was misnamed, it really should be called Star Trek Burnham. I watch this only because this is where the franchise has landed. Very PC. The crew spend too much time being in touch with their respective sensitive sides. Dare I say it but like a lot of these great old stories it has been usurped in the usual way which I donāt need to spell out. Come back Jim, Spock and Bones :)
Overall it is a good watch as it is high budget and the special effects are solid.
Iām looking forward to the next completely new iteration of Star Trek.

This movie was very slow and really didnāt have a decent thread or plot. Very random and just felt like a poorly thought out homage to the Sopranos. A shame really as I was really expecting this to be awesome!

This is not a remake of the original in any way. Itās really a soft fun option for teens I would say. The view of American Chinese family life is nice and has a fun side to it.

A very enjoyable action movie. The acting is good and Gerard Butler sells it well giving a very credible performance as a āpeoplesā Captain. (didnāt go through the academy, school of hard knocks etc). The only thing that lets it down is that the whole plot hinges upon a Russian General who for some inexplicable reason has decided to take over control of the Countries armed forces. As there is very little in the way of back story and build up it leaves you with a sense of āWhatā the ????
Oh, one more thing that lets it down being the underwater graphics showing a submarine with a sharper turning radius than a Speed Boat. I donāt think they were going for technical detail here, just impact and adrenalin.
All in all a great one time watch with lots of fist bumping and camaraderie going on.

Ignore the reviews that say this movie isnāt great. This is a cracking movie and a really exciting watch. Get yourself a couple of beers and a bag of snacks and settle down for one hell of a ride. Denzel does a great job switching between the mild mannered Mr Unknown to the razor sharp Robert McCall. The story line is interesting and keeps you wanting to know more. The direction and production quality is top notch. All in all I would be happy to pay my hard earned for a seat at the cinema to watch this on the big screen. 10 out of 10 IMO.

Season 5 is thoroughly enjoyable. Richard Roxburgh doesnāt disappoint. Itās a riotous ride from start to finish and great for a good few belly laughs :)
