never watched the anime and i liked it. You could see they were trying to go for an anime-style filming. Cool directing, story was ok and most of the acting was good. All in all, a well-made anime adaption.

Interesting, that’s how I feel about DC movies like Justice League where the writer’s hold our hands and tell us the powers of the heroes every chance they get “uhh..I asked you question..this is the lasso of truth..you have to tell me what I asked!!” bad guy “uhh..well, it didn’t work then..but uh I guess I’ll tell you now” lol

One night in 2010 I was in the balcony of my apartment in the 11th floor drinking with some friends when i saw a light in the sky moving really fast in random directions. I told everyone and we started watching it amazed. I took my phone (an old samsung) and filmed it but at night with that lowres camera i couldnt catch anything, it was really far away. We watched it for about 10 min doing crazy movements at light speeds and then it just went away. I often think about that night and trying to understand what i saw. Only recently after watching some videos that other people filmed i remember those movement patters. Its real folks, whatever it is, human made or alien or a some crazy visual phenomena , its really out there

Other directors should take a note on how-to make a manga adaptation. This is the best example of that.
