I like James better than Kimmel. He has a great personality and he is actually funny. BOO on cancelling his show

-100 points for the effing spoiler @bobbydoll. Like seriously I haven’t seen the movie yet and you have to reveal that? Thanks for ruining the ending.

yellow_rose1 1 points 17 hours ago.

if someone is giving away any part of the movie they should click spoiler. However, I would agree that what bobbydoll stated in the comments would have not spoiled the movie in anyway for those that have not watch it yet. In fact I did watch it and I don’t even remember what the comment is referring to. Although, I do have a really bad memory

Stand by Me (1986)
yellow_rose1 1 points 19 hours ago.

I love this movie but the bubble gum music gets on my nerves, I realize the age that they all are so it is the music they would have listened to during that time era. Oh well I don’t watch it for the music. It brings back memories of my childhood. It’s the best feeling in the world when a movie can transport a person like that.

This episode has created so much anger in me. They shouldn’t have that precious little girl anywhere near these two addicts. Even if it is her father. They all have terrible judgement, the Nick’s parents included. Another thing I would like to mention, I’m so glad they changed that cheesy intervention song called “5 steps” they would play at the end.

Erin was a great contender. She reminded me of a young Sissy Spacek and a young Sondra Locke put together. Marlin, I knew he wouldn’t last if he didn’t find protein everyday. He’s an athlete and they can’t take chances on harming their bodies.

They changed the name of this film to “Black Flies” which seems quite fitting due to the reviews posted here… we’re about to watch, so thanks for the review. We would’ve passed it by otherwise! ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)

No problem! I kept thinking my neighbour was snoring. Then I turned the sound off and on and realised it had been the movie all along. Sheesh, it’s so annoying that I couldn’t finish the movie! (ʘᗩʘ’) (Well, at least to me! lol)

Great movie. I was really looking forward to watching this and it did not disappoint me at all. It is very gritty and real. Not like the reality Ambulance shows where everyone is a hero and it all works out in the end. It’s not a job that anyone can do and they conveyed that very well. It was cool to see Iron Mike. IMO he still can’t act but I love him anyway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An American Bombing: The Road to April 19th (2024)
grasshopper rex 1 points 7 days ago*.

You wouldn’t have been surprised if our public schools weren’t teaching us a watered down, censored accounting of our history. As we’ve seen recently with shows about specific events that most are unaware of, like the Tulsa massacre, we aren’t being taught about certain topics. While it’s at least somewhat understandable from a perspective of those in power not wanting to give people ideas, being unaware of dark aspects of our history makes it more likely that those mistakes will be repeated. Valuable teaching moments are being missed.

I find it odd that there is still no specific US law for domestic terror.

yellow_rose1 1 points 7 days ago.

More needs to be done, it was in 2022 where congress passed Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022. It also deals with hate crime etc. Politian’s use these crimes to help their own agendas. At the very least by using it as proof that whoever is in power at the time is not doing their due diligence to keep the country safe etc.

yellow_rose1 1 points 7 days ago.

I can not believe it’s been almost 30 years since this happened. I’ll never forget watching it unfold on the news and the firefighter carrying the little baby in his arms. It was all so surreal that this could happen in a America. Now as I sit here today I’m surprised it has happened more often. I guess as we age and our innocence is stripped away as well as our desensitization that is to be expected. RIP to all those that lost there lives on that terrible day.

yellow_rose1 3 points 10 days ago.

To cast a very attractive, pretty Carrie threw me off right away. Carrie in the book and original movie was a plain Jane. Hard pass even though I like Julianne Moore. Even Moore doesn’t suit the character of Margret White. My opinion. It might be a good movie but I’d rather watch the original

It would have been nice to get the families side of the story after Shakyia said that her mother kicked her out, when she ended up in the hospital on a ventilator. I don’t think this woman is giving the full story. Perhaps due to her not giving the program her all, her mother said you either do Dr. Now’s program or I will not support you anymore. Her family seemed like very decent people. It sure would have been nice if the show had given their side of the story. Anyway I hope she begins to take care of herself.

What Jennifer Did (2024)
yellow_rose1 1 points 13 days ago.

There has been so many cases of young adults living double lives, pretending to be going to college and or graduating only to kill there parents instead of collecting the courage to tell their parents the truth. Some blame the parents for setting expectations too high but I think that kind of thinking is completely out of bounds. I feel so bad for this father that survived. He’s alone in this mess that his very own daughter created. No one to turn to on long lonely nights. RIP to his wife. I hope he can rebuild his life one day

Accused: Guilty or Innocent? (2020) S6 E1
ThinMan 2 points 15 days ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This was a hugely unnecessary effort by the “powers that be” to create a situation that never existed just to fill quota numbers, but it’s the entire political system that’s the root of the problem, and that’s not going to change without a HUGE upheaval. Meaning, civil war, or else the rich/greedy/power hungry will always be at the root causing this. Plus the prison system in the US is private and for profit. What were they thinking??

yellow_rose1 2 points 15 days ago.

I know it is awful. USA has more prisoners than the entire world 1.8 million people were locked up by the end of 2023. China is second to have the most at 1.69 million. One day there will be a revolt no doubt. When you have a huge portion of society becoming marginalized and have nothing to lose, what other outcome can one expect?

Perfect Murder, Perfect Town: JonBenét and the City of Boulder (2000)

I just want to leave a comment in the defense of the Ramsay family. It was far from a perfect murder. It was a botched investigation. The perp. would have likely been caught if the police had done their jobs properly.

Accused: Guilty or Innocent? (2020) S6 E1
yellow_rose1 3 points 15 days ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This case really upset me. I hope the police that investigated Jerry and brought about his arrest are reprimanded. Probably not because they are allowed to lie in the interrogation room. That there has to stop. It causes so many false confessions. The British have completely changed their policies on interrogations, therefore the USA must follow those new tactics. I really hope one day they do.

Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV (2024) S1 E5
grasshopper rex 1 points 16 days ago*.

What kind of parent would want that life for their child anyway? It’s no secret that actors are abused in many ways in that industry, not just children. Then you look at how many children don’t handle the fame and lifestyle well. Hell, many adults don’t make it through healthy and whole.

yellow_rose1 1 points 16 days ago.

I agree completely it is not something I would want for anyone I love especially my child. So few have happy lives or they just quit so they don’t loose their sanity, drug, alcohol abuse, a dozen failed marriages before the age of 30, no thanks

Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV (2024) S1 E5
hellsingfan01 1 points 16 days ago.

Agreed which is why safe guards are needed in order to protect child actors and hopefully with this fantastic series Hollywood will finally stand up and take notice and look at something that’s been a problem for literally decades at this point in time.

yellow_rose1 1 points 16 days ago.

Yes I really do hope so

Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV (2024) S1 E5
hellsingfan01 1 points 16 days ago.

Well you see here’s the thing alot of them do indeed stay on set with there kids alot of the time but because of how creepy the weirdos mentioned are they convince the parents that they can be trusted by gaining their trust and by gaining the trust of there kids.

yellow_rose1 1 points 16 days ago.

I suppose but if a parent can not recognize the grooming process, then well I just don’t know what to say after that. It’s a sad state of affairs that’s for sure

Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV (2024) S1 E5
hellsingfan01 2 points 16 days ago.

Hollywood will never change as long as there still no safe guards in place to protect child actors from creeps like Dirty Dan Schinder , Brian Peck , Jason Handy and others.

yellow_rose1 1 points 16 days ago.

It is my belief that Hollywood doesn’t want safe guards for children. To them they are just money making commodifies. I think it should be made essential that if parents are going to put their children in the entertainment industry that they are to remain on the set with them at all times. Or a trusted family member. Now that all this abuse has come to light I don’t know how a parent could trust their child to be left alone for even 5 minutes. That would solve much of these problems.

The Truth vs. Alex Jones (2024)
yellow_rose1 3 points 27 days ago.

All those years ago when Alex Jones began running his mouth on YT about Sandy Hook being a hoax I left a comment stating how dare he do this to the parents and the community of Sandy Hook. I can not believe it took this many years for the judicial system to do something about it. What he speaks of has nothing to do with the 1st Amendment. Not when it’s lies for profit. God Bless all those victimized by this man and may all the children and teachers that died that day may you RIP.

Hands down the best sitcom and most realistic of all that came out of the 80’s. We used to compare my Dad to Al Bundy as he owned a shoe store while I was growing up. Awe those were the days, when a t.v. show would have me actually laughing.

Road House (2024)

Then wait I highly recommend. JG tries as he might to carry this albatross, but it sinks at the half way mark, never to resurface at all. Combine that with comical, and awkward walking (what the heck? Are his legs broken??) Conor McGregor and you’ve got a complete flop, I’m really sorry to state. We love JG; he is innovative in his approach, but here he seems focused on a made for telly, underrated, and completely insipid approach. {{{{sigh}}}}
