I love this movie but the bubble gum music gets on my nerves, I realize the age that they all are so it is the music they would have listened to during that time era. Oh well I don’t watch it for the music. It brings back memories of my childhood. It’s the best feeling in the world when a movie can transport a person like that.

No problem! I kept thinking my neighbour was snoring. Then I turned the sound off and on and realised it had been the movie all along. Sheesh, it’s so annoying that I couldn’t finish the movie! (ʘᗩʘ’) (Well, at least to me! lol)

You wouldn’t have been surprised if our public schools weren’t teaching us a watered down, censored accounting of our history. As we’ve seen recently with shows about specific events that most are unaware of, like the Tulsa massacre, we aren’t being taught about certain topics. While it’s at least somewhat understandable from a perspective of those in power not wanting to give people ideas, being unaware of dark aspects of our history makes it more likely that those mistakes will be repeated. Valuable teaching moments are being missed.

I find it odd that there is still no specific US law for domestic terror.

I can not believe it’s been almost 30 years since this happened. I’ll never forget watching it unfold on the news and the firefighter carrying the little baby in his arms. It was all so surreal that this could happen in a America. Now as I sit here today I’m surprised it has happened more often. I guess as we age and our innocence is stripped away as well as our desensitization that is to be expected. RIP to all those that lost there lives on that terrible day.

There has been so many cases of young adults living double lives, pretending to be going to college and or graduating only to kill there parents instead of collecting the courage to tell their parents the truth. Some blame the parents for setting expectations too high but I think that kind of thinking is completely out of bounds. I feel so bad for this father that survived. He’s alone in this mess that his very own daughter created. No one to turn to on long lonely nights. RIP to his wife. I hope he can rebuild his life one day

I just want to leave a comment in the defense of the Ramsay family. It was far from a perfect murder. It was a botched investigation. The perp. would have likely been caught if the police had done their jobs properly.

What kind of parent would want that life for their child anyway? It’s no secret that actors are abused in many ways in that industry, not just children. Then you look at how many children don’t handle the fame and lifestyle well. Hell, many adults don’t make it through healthy and whole.

Agreed which is why safe guards are needed in order to protect child actors and hopefully with this fantastic series Hollywood will finally stand up and take notice and look at something that’s been a problem for literally decades at this point in time.

Well you see here’s the thing alot of them do indeed stay on set with there kids alot of the time but because of how creepy the weirdos mentioned are they convince the parents that they can be trusted by gaining their trust and by gaining the trust of there kids.

Hollywood will never change as long as there still no safe guards in place to protect child actors from creeps like Dirty Dan Schinder , Brian Peck , Jason Handy and others.

I just want to say one thing about this episode, the guy has a really nice a**. However one more thing. They have no fat reserves. Without food they will be passing out by the 3rd day.

Good movie: 40 yrs ago this movie was cutting edge. It stayed in my head for years.

So terrible for a little bit of money, to use the lines from the movie Fargo. I’m so glad that the one boy came forward to crack the case to have no one held accountable would be even more tragic. RIP Sarah Lee. May you fly with the angels.

What a shock, RIP Paul O’Grady. You live a wonderful privileged life. Mr. O’Grady past away on Easter Sunday. I feel bad for his partner and his many dogs that will miss him dearly.

All those years ago when Alex Jones began running his mouth on YT about Sandy Hook being a hoax I left a comment stating how dare he do this to the parents and the community of Sandy Hook. I can not believe it took this many years for the judicial system to do something about it. What he speaks of has nothing to do with the 1st Amendment. Not when it’s lies for profit. God Bless all those victimized by this man and may all the children and teachers that died that day may you RIP.

I know I complain about remakes, sequels etc. I’m all for this one. It has Michael in it, C.O. W.R. Many of the originals. September is a long way off. I have something to look forward to now. Woo Hoo

Totally agree with ThinMan, I’d wait a long while before you watch it if you don’t want to be disappointed because this is no where near like what we all love about the original. I bet Patrick Swayze is turning over in his grave about this film bearing his film’s name ugh. Good luck when you do, its a rough ride.

Completely forgot about this show - haven’t seen many episodes, to be honest. Because of your comment I just watched the Pilot - excellent. Love the timing. Think I have found my new comfort show to watch….

Hands down the best sitcom and most realistic of all that came out of the 80’s. We used to compare my Dad to Al Bundy as he owned a shoe store while I was growing up. Awe those were the days, when a t.v. show would have me actually laughing.

Then wait I highly recommend. JG tries as he might to carry this albatross, but it sinks at the half way mark, never to resurface at all. Combine that with comical, and awkward walking (what the heck? Are his legs broken??) Conor McGregor and you’ve got a complete flop, I’m really sorry to state. We love JG; he is innovative in his approach, but here he seems focused on a made for telly, underrated, and completely insipid approach. {{{{sigh}}}}

great movie. It was wonderful to see Carrie Fisher in a role where she is so young and beautiful. As always Hanks and Bruce Dern were really great in their roles. I haven’t watched this since it was released on video, therefore it was all new to me. I really enjoyed that. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
