Details:

A film about a “magic piece of veal” that forces all who eat it to speak the TRUTH. #veal saves marriages Chef Pasquale Russo moves in a trance like fashion throughout his kitchen. He places salt into pots boiling with water and peppers a veal shank. Who is this man? An angel or a demon? As he cooks he sings the song, Ave Maria. In the meantime, Pasquale’s good friend Father Alfred is in the restaurant and conducts a marriage counseling session with a struggling couple, Rocco and Francine. Rocco (the groom to be) has no use for a priest while Francine clings to her cultural values and the thought of a fairy-tale wedding in the Catholic Church. As Rocco continues to sling insult after insult at the priest, the fiery “holyman” and Italian cook team up to make Rocco an offer he cannot refuse. Father McFarlan gets the last laugh as Rocco bites into a piece of “magic meat” and begins to tell all. After just one taste his past infidelities, lies and true nature slip out of his recently loosened lips. As Father McFarlan watches in delight, Francine is enraged and walks out of the restaurant - newly single.
