Having a welcome strategic expertise in both the hot and dank Florida swamplands and the local tribe of Seminole Indians, brilliant and ethical West Point graduate Second Lieutenant Lance Caldwell is transferred to scheming Major Degan’s Everglades outpost in 1835.
