These are my picks for scary movies, some gory, others tension building and sometimes funny with every entry having at least one ‘Huh’ moment, where something happens I haven’t seen before - be it a certain ‘kill’, a premise or even genre mixup.
I have been watching and reading Horror near exclusively since the early 80’s, so its pretty hard to elicit a reaction like these films did in their own way so I hope you enjoy!
