A commercial short made for the Bristol-Myers Co. (plugging their toothpaste) that features the characters from the "Reg'lar Fellers" syndicated newspaper comic strip by Gene Byrnes. The plot concerns a boy who has an old grouch for a daddy, runs off, meets a dog and joins a gang of kids. Meanwhile,the old man has a nightmare,where he sees himself as an old sour puss because he doesn't take care of his teeth and gums. He sees an electric sign for Bristol-Myers toothpaste, and that sets him on a more positive course. (The few-seconds of film showing the sign represents the only commercial intrusion in this short).

Unhappily he tunnels into the Sing Song prison where a sadistic prison guard named Sam Schultz refuses to accept that he's anything but one of the prisoners. Soon Bugs is in stripes, but it's the guard who will find prison life to be hell when Bugs Bunny is around to trick him into a cell, the hangman's noose, an electric chair and even into the warden's office, where Bugs will put a severe strain on the relationship between boss and underling. Finally, Sam decides that enough is enough.

Bugs runs into a balloon seller in the Golden Gate park and agrees to hold his balloons for him for a sec, while he ties his loose laces. However, the balloons lift Bugs up into the air and then the wind currents take over. Eventually, a stork carrying a baby kangaroo to Australia to its kangaroo mother, who's expecting, collides with Bugs and his balloons and ends up carrying bugs to the mother kangaroo instead of the actual baby, who gets carries away by the balloons. The mother doesn't notice the difference and puts Bugs into her pouch. However, a loud hungry light-skinned native tribal hunter armed with a spear and one trusty boomerang, shows up and notices Bugs.
