Paul O'Grady meets Florence, a pug-terrier cross who's been badly injured in a car accident. While out helping with her rehabilitation, Paul bumps into Jennifer Saunders, one of Battersea's famous volunteers. Like Paul, she struggles to fight the urge to adopt all the dogs, including a nine-week-old spaniel pup called George. Paul also meets Spike, a ten-month-old English bull dog who is full of energy but has to stay indoors because he's recovering from airway surgery. |
