It is day two, and Catherine Southon and Paul Laidlaw are motoring their open-topped roadster along the byways of Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Powys and Gloucestershire. Paul plumps for some handcuffs, while Catherine picks up some cute puppies. The pair also take in a tour of one of Britain's finest little Norman churches and discover the story of the lost art of Worcester glove manufacturing, before whizzing off to an exciting auction in the Shropshire town of Newport. |
