The recruits enter boot camp and discover they will be going back to the basics with meat-and-potatoes challenges. First, they learn that cooking is about more than just taste in a Skill Drill that tests all five of their senses. Next, the chefs ask the recruits to create their own potato hash dish. Finally, the recruits must make a meat-based dish fit for a cowboy in the main dish challenge. Those who can hold onto their horses will continue on in boot camp while the others are sent home. |
