I remember reading about this case years ago. And I’m still not over how incompetent the police was back then. And how Social services was not involved sooner to help those poor kids. It’s still baffling to me. Good watch.

OK for me, no more. I wanted to see more. It could make for an interesting longer short though.
Yeah, this episode got my attention and held it util the end. I’ve fallen in love with Martin Clunes with the series “Doc Martin” years ago. And I’m not disappointed with his role here. Definitely will keep watching.
Very interesting, for sure. After hearing about the criminal history of that man, I wondered 2 things. 1. Why wasn’t he in jail for the multiple rapes that he committed previously. Most likely, it would’ve prevented the death of these women. We’re talking about 3 or 4 rapes here. Makes you wonder why the detectives involved didn’t cared. Oh I know, because the were sex workers. Who cares, right. 2. With multiple rapes, beating of women (including his ex-wife), violent and sadistic sex preferences, one wonders, how many more women has he killed, that the police knows nothing about. Because for SURE, this man has killed before the bodies were found. Makes one shiver. Good watch. Another keeper for me.
This was an interesting documentary. Although in my opinion, it could’ve been an hour episode instead of two+. I was annoyed though, that the judge didn’t want to admit some evidence that showed the accused behavior. That man is sick, period. Good riddance.
A nice introduction to a case I never heard of before. Although, I do find the pace slagging, when they can get to the point, a bit faster, in my opinion.
Man, this story is worthy of a limited series. With drugs, adultery and murder, what else does one need? I’d watch it.
That was a gruesome and chilling story. How is a woman supposed to feel safe in this world, with predators like that? AND, with technology nowadays that tracks people with frightening accuracy. Make you shiver with fear.
The effects were efficient enough, but not the best. And the script was interesting. I wouldn’t mind seeing a full-length movie, with a better budget and a well-thought scenario. Watching this, I couldn’t help but to shudder at how technology eventually, will track us like animals. And eventually, someone will use it for the wrong reasons. If they’re not already doing so. It’s just the human nature. A good and reflective short watch.
This was a good one-time watch. Not perfect, for the ending could’ve been better, in my opinion. But this is from 1932, still the beginning of cinema. One must take it as it is.
Wow. That was something else. I’d heard vaguely about this case back then. And now, I know more about this sick and twisted couple. Sentence deserved. Good watch.
I really liked this short. I’ve always been fascinated with the Maori culture and their amazing Haka ceremony. I find it exciting and it sent chills down my spine every single time I see it. I lost it, laughing, when the Germans reacted to it at first. Good watch.
This woman is exactly where she belongs. This was really interesting. My kind of show. The only thing that bothers me, is that it’s a bit repetitive after each break. A bit annoying. Besides that, I will keep watching.
Loved this storyline. Interesting to see the actor from Downton Abbey, Brendan Coyle. I didn’t know who he was back then.
I love international history, and this documentary is right up my alley. So I don’t think Ill be disappointed with this.
I can’t say that I liked this short. I was bored out of my mind, mostly. There goes 35mins of my life that I will never get back.
It’s so amusing to see these old bits. One has to admire how far animation has come. Good watch.
That was a nice short. I wasn’t sure where it was going, and it was creepy. Good watch. 3.5/5 stars.
I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised at how good this anthology was. With the amount of terrible anthologies out there, it was nice to be able to watch one fully without getting bored or disappointed. There were some creepy stories in this selection. Worth a watch. 3.5/5 star.
I HATE clowns. So therefore this short was creepy to me. The bloody thing reminded me of Pennywise. My ultimate nightmarish clown of all time, as far as I”m concerned. Good watch.
Thank heavens, I’m finally done with this season. And I can now officially declare that I’m done with this series. Not going to waste any more time. Needless to say that I am disappointed with the storyline. The one thing that I liked, was the Executioner’s costume. It was creepy as hell. The rest didn’t do much for me.
Isn’t it a good thing that Sarah totally disregards forensic rules when told not to touch a piece of evidence? Her character is so unlikable, that one can’t wait for her to die, since she likes so much to put herself in danger. It’s infuriating as a viewer. Because for once, you’d wish that the protagonist is actually using her brain, instead of always being the damsel in distress. (sigh). One more to go.
Somebody wanna tell me why this stupid girl always seems to put herself in dangerous situations? It’s like the things that happens to her before, is as if it never happened. And she keeps getting careless. I don’t like this chick. She’s your typical cliche character, with a minimum of intelligence with that. Ugh.
I’m still on the fence about this series. I am less interested than I was at first. But I still have some hope that it will end well.
I don’t know where the storyline is going, but I sure hope that it will have bee orth the time spent watching this. Because so far, this has been riddled with the usual cliches, which I was hoping I would be spared of. (sigh).
Although I am not sure about how I feel about this show yet, I’m sure about not liking Sarah. She represents the basic cliche of horror movies (going where you’re not supposed to ALONE, etc). For me, Katie MrGrath’s bad acting, really distracts from getting into the storyline. But I will keep going. For now.
Don’t know what to think of this, for the moment. It’s only been the first episode. But first impression, Sarah already gets on my nerve. I hope her character grows smarter as the series goes long. Wanna see more to get a feel of this show.
I preferred this version better than the original. Maybe because I am biased to Miss Marple. Good watch.
I can’t say that this was my favorite Agatha Christie’s story. But it was interesting enough for me to watch it all. Good enough for a one-time watch.
I am always baffled at how people behave, when faced with morale issues. An how clueless they can be at not noticing sociopathy or psychopathy signs, and just shrug it off, making all kinds of excuses. If you’re a sibling and you constantly tell big lies, that eventually hurts me, I’m done with you. You lie to me bout having a deadly disease for a year and after that year, laugh it off, I’m a goner. There’s a limit to what a human can take. And clearly, these people could take a lot. How sad.
Can’t say that I really liked this series. The actors were good, but it needed a bit more tightening. Just OK for me.
man! That man is seriously twisted, and likes to gaslight everyone around him. He really lives in his own perverted world, where the sound of his own voice is truly all he needs. Talking about being narcissistic. I get tired at times of hearing Paul’s long tirades, where he just goes off subject, to direct scrutiny away from himself. Let’s see how it all ends.
From the moment that girl went with the guy, I started to shake my head. How to do everything wrong. OK for me.
Just OK, no more for me. Wish there were more about Julia, and what is the origin of what she is.
Although I followed this case closely when it happened, I didn’t have updates about it afterward. Those sociopaths are exactly where they belong.
I’ve been following this series for years now. And I find it fascinating. Might as well watch the whole thing again, from the beginning. Definitely recommended.
Not bad an episode. I’d never heard of this case, so it was interesting to watch. It’s sad how heartless some people can be. And how greed can bring out the worse in humans, sometimes.
OK, that was a cute short. Just put a smile on my face. Good watch.
