I respect that yet, I’ve seen Gary’s other outings and in my opinion, he’s more of a hinder than a help. He’s about himself and doesn’t bend to work with anybody. He thinks he knows it all and everyone else is subpar. That’s not a good team member to me. Just my take. =o)

I lived in the country as a young teen and we hitched all the time. We never did it alone, but we are lucky to have never been picked up by someone that wanted to hurt us. It was considered safe then. Never hearing about someone getting hurt

Another classic Disney animation that has far more going on plot wise than just the spaghetti scene it’s famous for - though in fairness, it’s eons since I last viewed it but I am definitely glad I gave it another watch.

I can’t believe this got a rating over 7 on IMBD. In my opinion some of the acting is just awful. I’m 20 mins in and just can’t watch this anymore.

I haven’t seen it but if it’s anything like any of Oliver Stone’s other movies it will be good and fairly accurate as well, Docudrama (Platoon) is one of Stones niche’s and nobody does it better. Nixon was also called Tricky Dicky, he also took the US off the gold standard so they (the Gov) could print money, that move is playing out today in spades. If your interested in figuring out just how deeply corrupt US politics is Nixon is a good place to start.

Nixon was a weird guy, he didn’t start out corrupt but some would consider him a war criminal for unauthorized bombing of Vietnam, his fall is an interesting case study in stark contrast to Bill Clinton who also fell but was a gangster before he got to office.

Can anyone give advice on this movie? Sometimes these bios can be boring so I just want to know if I should give it a go. Thanks

I don’t say it often enough but thank you to those who keep Primewire going. It’s a treasure trove of films that fire up and route the memory circuits to long forgotten pleasures, and in this particular case, my childhood love of The Rescuers! 78 minutes of truly great animation, narrative and songs that went by in a flash, from a time when a Disney film was worthy of its name.

I’m crying my eyes out that was one hell of a run. But I also laughed at the end
