Midnight in Paris (2011)
Honest Review 2 points 2 years ago.

This movie was a treat. Never heard of it and a nice find while searching for something to watch. Very enjoyable characters and the actors that play them. Was a fun movie and a great idea that I think most of us dream of at one point or another. 8/10

Chasing Amy (1997)
Honest Review 2 points 2 years ago.

Good flick. Not as comedy driven as the others but well play out none the less. Also if you are watching these make sure to read Kevin’s personal thanks in the end credits. Shows what a caring guy he is. They are in the first 3 so far.

Long Weekend (2021)
Honest Review 2 points 2 years ago*.

This movie was way better than the trailer portrayed. I enjoyed it and would recommend. 7/10

Moneyball (2011)
Bryan Fahrenheit 3 points 4 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

This is a great movie.
It might be one of my favorite movies because I’ve been an A’s fan all my life. Why the hell didn’t I ever see this when it came out??
Okay, I have to add one thing. When Billy was buying his daughter a guitar at the music shop, I could tell where it was. It was the Haight Ashbury Music Center. That’s where I bought my first bass

Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago.

I remember watching this series as well but being younger had no idea all the intricacy’s that went into those two years of baseball. Great watch.

Cruella (2021)
Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago.

Soundtrack is top notch. When you got that Disney money you can shell out for all the classic’s other labels can’t afford. Acting was enjoyable as well.

Ted Lasso (2020)
Honest Review 2 points 2 years ago.

Well that was a fun watch. 2 season’s of pure joy and excitement with dad jokes a plenty. If you need a metaphor this is the show for you. Highly recommend. 9/10

The Grand Tour (2016)
Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago*.

These three amigo’s, bloak’s, chap’s are the richest form of entertainment. I have enjoyed their antics for so long they seem like old friends of mine. Horsing around with your buds with some car stuff is a great description. Sad that it has finally came to an end after 17 years of shenanagians and horse POWERRRR. At least we will still get the occasional special to soothe our aching hearts. Jeremy, Richard, and James, Thank you.

The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
Honest Review 2 points 2 years ago.

Not a bad movie. Seems like they tried to cram too many things into one movie. A two or three part series probably would of been a better watch. Diving a little more into the characters from The Sapranos.

Vacation Friends (2021)
Honest Review 2 points 2 years ago.

I thought this would be horrible but was actually not bad.

I, Tonya (2017)
Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago.

I enjoyed this movie, didn’t think I would but great directing and acting. Came together nicely. I can’t believe how dumb some people are though. Well I can, but still surprising every time. 7/10 ps Nice bum

Outside the Wire (2021)
tamerat1 3 points 3 years ago.

good movie should be on featured section.

Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago.

I agree. Don’t know why it isn’t.

The Mandalorian (2019) S2 E8
PonderThis 0 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

My mind was processing the scene with Luke or was this a young Anakin (Luke’s father)? I was thinking Grogu isn’t Yoda and trying to figure things out. No one said his name in the scene, so are we sure it’s actually Luke Skywalker? We all assume it’s Luke. Remember Darth Vader was his father. Could he be Anakin Skywalker instead of Luke? And Anakin was a Jedi and he spent time with Yoda before going over to the dark side.

Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago.

Well he was wearing the glove like Luke does because he lost his hand by his father. Anakin’s lightsaber was a different color too.

Friends: The Reunion (TV Special 2021) (2021)
Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago.

Oh my god the memories!!! This takes me back to a simpler time. This show will always hold a dear spot in my heart. I got super happy at the begging of this reunion and somber as it ended. Man oh man I’m flushed with emotion as it has just ended. I’d love to see it come back with all the same people just because I have such fond memories but it has almost impossible shoes to fill to not tarnish the original. Binge of Friends is in the near future.

Ride the Eagle (2021)
Honest Review 2 points 2 years ago.

Good movie worth a watch. Entertaining movie about life and its struggles/awkwardness. 7/10

Pinocchio (1940)
Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago.

Classic. Not much more needed to say. 80 years old and still enjoyable.

Doom Patrol (2019)
JennyFromBlockD 2 points 4 years ago.

If you haven’t watched it you should definitely check out Titans
It takes place in the same universe, and even has a crossover episode.
Very much the same vibe.

Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago.

I second that. Just as good if not a little better in my opinion.

Archenemy (2020)
humanityforward2814 0 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Overall good movie. I enjoyed it. Thematically the ending was good, but logically it didnt make any sense to me. If his blood was renewed when in proximity to the blonde lady why didnt he get his powers back? If we take it as fact that he didn’t have powers when his blood turned blue, how did his powers transfer to the girl if he didn’t even have them in the first place? If his blood turned blue and regained abilities he shouldn’t have died. If im missing something please let me know Im genuinely curious

Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

His powers came from the crystal force thing, sorry already forgot, not his blood. When they came together there biology was changing/reverted slightly like it was in their universe. Why she got powers I’d guess the “crystal gift” leftover in his blood transfered to her like Green Lantern style. Then on Earth the powers come from something else, like maybe the Sun.

Dave Chappelle: The Closer (TV Special 2021) (2021)
Honest Review 2 points 2 years ago.

Hilarious. Had to rewind some of the jokes to laugh at them again, they were so good.

Doors (2021)
Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago*.

This is definitely a weird one. It starts off with some cringe gender garbage but just move past it. After that it is a suspenseful sci-fi flick that will keep you intrigued. This is like a cross of Westworld and Annihilation with a sprinkle of Inception. Watch it for yourself because I don’t think anyone will come out with the same feelings as the next person. A shaky 7/10

Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)

Gotta admit not that impressed. Was good, had no problem finishing it. I just thought it’d be better.

To each their own, but you can’t say a movie sucked when you only watched 10 mins of it.

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago.

It’s not bad. Way better then that snoozefest that is the first one. 6.3/10

Monster Hunter (2020)
Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago.

Never played the game. I enjoyed this for the most part. Some goofy scenes where it gets meh but overall not bad. 6.5/10

Infidel (2020)
Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago.

I was entertained for the most part. Action scenes were a little corny but rest was not bad. If you got nothing else to watch give this a try. 6.8/10

Tenet (2020)
Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago.

Man oh man. This has solidified Christopher Nolan as a magnificent Director and Writer in my mind now. His films are so original that even if you might not like the plot you have to respect it. So well balanced, ironically so, you’ll see. Very enjoyable and will need to rewatch it to catch all the nuance’s like most of his films. 9/10

Ben-Hur (2016)
Honest Review 1 points 2 years ago.

Finally got around to watching this and it wasn’t half bad. I liked it. Not a chart topper but a good time for sure. 7/10

News of the World (2020)

You clearly haven’t seen the D&D movie he did… But you’re not wrong. He’s a great actor and I’m pumped to watch him here in a western.

The Last Dance (2020) S1 E2

I think anyone who has been in the work force long enough can understand Pippen’s point of view. You don’t wanna pay me, you don’t respect me, I’m out.

A-X-L (2018)
Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago.

Very predictable and a little corny at times but still an enjoyable watch. 6.5/10

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (2014)
Ihavesuperpowers 1 points 3 years ago.

The popular opinion??? 🤣🤣🤣 Popular opinion was that Trump was going to win, guess what HE LOST BY ALOT!!! His show doesn’t suck, that’s just your opinion. Your the same person who thinks the 2nd Wonder Woman is better than the first one 🤣🤣🤣

Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago.

Well you put a bunch of emoji’s. You must be right.

Marriage Story (2019)
Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago.

Rough stuff. Something that is becoming more and more prevalent in America and I’m sure most other places. Relationships are one of the hardest things to keep together because there are no answers but rather only compromise’s. This is a story of two people of this fate. Still trying to keep their family steady north in a stormy sea. As sad as it may be it is a enjoyable film. 8/10

The Mandalorian (2019) S2 E8

OK everyone, NOW THINK, LS is to young to save baby Yoda, Now if you remember the very first movie ( i seen it back then in A Theatre ) 1976. he was on a planet and had no idea about yoda or R2 or obi wan,They are screwing with your head with time lines

Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago.

This is after the first three movies. Luke has the glove on covering his metal hand that Vadar cut off.

Alien 1 points 3 years ago.

I’m glad you two are happy with your theoretical synopsis. lol.
To be able to finish this movie I had to take a few breaks. The tempo, for lack of a better word, just wasn’t there for me. Fortunately, I wasn’t left with any questions that need answering because that would drive me cuckoo. So, decent movie.

Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago.

I’m happy you’re glad.

Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)
Honest Review 1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Not bad. Didn’t have high hopes for this seeing how the King Kong movie was horrible. Was kept entertained with an action movie. Hollow Earth is a stupid concept but it is what it is. Not bad for a one time watch if you’re bored.

Top Gear (2002) S30 Special

One of the most hilarious anime I’ve ever seen but also very informative if you study Japanese and are interested in the culture. It’s also really fun how the series doesn’t take itself seriously and joking about Shounen Jump and all that hehe

Honest Review 1 points 2 years ago.

cant wait to watch it.
