This episode felt like it kept trying to reach something, and falling slightly short. One thing’s for sure, Coake is bad. Mmkay?

Nothing really original here, but the way it’s put together shows promise. Fog and tremors unsettle everyone, being cut off from all communication and signs that something’s not right even beyond their rig, an accident all combine to unsettle an already embittered crew. Curious to see where this goes.
I would like to have seen Cleveland’s love story. Quagmire’s take on “Castaway” wasn’t bad, and the joke about Wilson being named after Tom Hanks’s wife was priceless. Joe’s version of “Dirty Dancing” cracked me up. I’ll never see Baby the same way again. “Jennifer Schnoz” lol. Peter’s Meg Ryan story had a couple funny moments, like when he talked about her facial surgeries and when he mentioned PeeWee Herman. But his was the weakest. But it was a cute episode overall.
It had it’s funny moments. But that radio jingle gets annoying really fast.
Sometimes, Aunt Carl doubts your commitment to sparklemotion. Seriously, good start to the season.
Well, that was something. Some of them (Mistress, Jax) look like Drag Race Royalty (Eureka, young Shangela). Others look busted. In Drag, Sasha Colby looks like Janet Jackson. Out of Drag? A Victorian child with cholera. Curious to see where this head to head split premiere goes.
I wondered how they’d handle the passing of Leslie Jordan. They did it beautifully, with humor and depth fitting his character. I got quite a chuckle out of Mama, of course. And the ending was so heart-felt.
this is the movie i watch every year right before christmas…. one of my favorites since i was little. if you dont have this on your to watch around every christmas…. make it on your list. 5/5 stars
It’s such a fun take on “A Christmas Carol”. I watch it at some point in December or early January.
Decent episode. It pokes fun at internet celebrity in true Simpsons form. And the guest appearance by Bob The Drag Queen and Monet XChange was a fun touch.
I watch this every New Year’s Eve! This year, I found a link elsewhere that featured Elvira! It’s 80s cheese, so bad but so good! Happy New Year!
Watched again this year, though the link with Elvira was gone. Happy New Year!
New Year’s Eve party on a train, a murderer, Jamie Lee Curtis and David Copperfield. Cheesy but fun.
That kid is such a brat! Fun movie about the dangers of babysitting.
For a relatively short movie, this one sure seemed to drag on and on.
You can’t go wrong with a zombie Christmas movie. Some of the songs are quite catchy, too.
An annual watch for me. An interwoven anthology (some obviously better than others). The William Shatner story line ties everything together (though there are small ties throughout each). He definitely pulls off the radio Deejay drunk on spiked eggnog character quite well.
Roger’s story line is pretty funny. Stan’s has moments, but overall just so-so.
The description makes this sound like a porno! lmao. Better summary: A business woman working late on Christmas Eve discovers her car won’t start. Then she finds she’s locked in. An obsessed parking lot security guard knocks her out and changes her clothes, then chains her up. Things take a downward spiral and he becomes more unhinged. Can she escape P2 before it’s too late?
Pretty decent film. The leads play off one another well.
That wasn’t bad. At first it seems the husband is emotionally abusive and manipulative, while the wife is very docile. As time goes on, “wifey” gets psycho, but in a clever way.
All along, I thought I had an idea of what was going on. But the ending. . . .
A Christmas classic! At the time, it rifled quite a few feathers. Two remakes later, and this version still holds it’s own. I watch it every December. If you haven’t seen it somehow, you should.
When “rick and morty a very merry rickmas yule log’ comes out dont bother watching it. Waste of time. Worst episode ever. Snore. Lazy writers.
I watched about a minute of it. Skipped ahead to see if it was better. I second your recommendation to skip this.
I knew Rita and Victoria were going to be the top, as soon as the characters were announced. And they did so well. “You can’t put a squirrel where a squirrel doesn’t belong”, lmao. Silky being in the bottom surprised me. And that chemistry between Silky and Victoria, wow! The lip sync was neck and neck until Rita bent that neck in an “Oh my” moment! I expected the winner to break the alliance. Good episode.
A direct sequel to the 1972 movie, except the voice over said “1974”. In fact, a lot of the voice over got things wrong. It’s like the writers knew little about the original. Speaking of, this movie is mostly clips of the old film. Not always in chronological order. The modern story is incredibly slow, poorly acted, and they used the “old tape” filter a bit too much. And the ending felt tacked on.
I love this movie so much! I watch it every December. Lin Shaye and Ray Wise play off one another as a jaded married couple so well. Their kids are spot on. They didn’t need much gore. Just a monotonous road, a family that slowly unravels, and a “lady in white”.
Yea Collette ups the acting ante on any movie she does, she’s just THAT amazing. I’ll check out that movie page but I’ll take your word for it not being good lol.Thanks.
I’ve loved Toni Collette since a friend introduced me to “Muriel’s Wedding”. But my favorite roles of hers were this and “Connie and Carla”.
For an independent found footage film, this isn’t terrible. Nor it is great. Three paranormal investigators go into a haunted house for a three day stay, act like typical ghost hunters, and rile up a spirit. You could see the twist coming from the moment that character was introduced. Good effort, but only a mediocre film. Worth a one time watch as a novelty.
They weren’t kidding about consequences. Horror legend Joe Bob Briggs as a judge? Nice.
I went into this with very low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. As with all anthologies, some stories were better than others. But there was humor mixed in in just the right spots. And a decent amount of dread and gore, which can be hard to balance in horror.
Watched this on Tubi. Definitely a one time watch.
IMDB description: A family is terrorized by a Christmas demon, Jack Frost, and must learn their family’s dark secrets that link to why they are cursed. This Christmas, Jack will stop at nothing to exact his vengeance on those left in the bloodline.
“One year later” sure hit them hard! Seriously, though not as fun as the first one, this is still a decent holiday watch.
I love this movie and it’s sequel. I watch them every December. It’s so hilariously cheesy.
That was an emotional season finale.
