I’ve been watching this show since it began. I just want to make a couple remarks. I love this family and if anyone knows a man out there that is just like Chris and single, let me know because I want him. I just love his sense of humor. Everything about him is what a woman would want in a man.
I love the beginning of this film because it reminds me of back in the day when t.v. had sign off. It would play the national anthem and the color bars would come on with the annoying bleep sound that would wake you up and remind you to turn off the t.v. I miss those days. Great movie by the way
Incredible acting from Matthew, as always. He lost a ton of weight for this role. You know it’s going to be a great movie when the main actors will do anything to make the role convincing. I forget it’s just a movie. Method acting must be the toughest way to play a part. The person must become that character on and off camera for however months it takes. Amazing movie hands down one of Matthew’s best. I also should mention Jared Leto’s part in this is Kick A$$ too.
Jeez. It’s based on a true story, man, not kooky fantasy.
There was a movie made called Alive with Ethan Hawke in the early 90’s it was also a good depiction of this tragic event https://www.primewire.tf/movie/235295-alive
I do not agree with the verdict in this case. However it is Florida and the man has money and community support I’m sure being a football player and all. I feel bad for the victims. I believe the girlfriend should have been charged with a couple of crimes too
You might like the original more. It offers a Yule Brenner with hair! and Joanne Woodward https://www.primewire.tf/movie/114348-the-sound-and-the-fury
I never thought I’d like this show, but these two doctors are what every surgeon should be; caring, concerned, compassionate. This episode was straight up fantastic!
I agree it is an awesome show. This was a great episode for sure
It is so funny the bromance these two have going on. It almost makes me wonder if it makes their wives jealous/envious. All kidding aside they perform straight up magic in the O.R.
the difference between the family household, the employees, the begger in front of the gate, the people in town and the japanese just arround the corner of the garden?
I understand now. It’s the same in South Africa too. It’s not right that’s for sure
Anytime we lose a loved one, it hurts. It sounds like you are very compassionate. You may enjoy this series we just discovered! https://www.primewire.tf/tv/1490824-wilderness-with-simon-reeve Take care!
Yes I am about people, places and things but I have a deep love for nature. I grew up in the country. I was heartbroken the day my parents moved the family into town. I’m still here although I had an occasion to move back when I was married. Now that I am widowed and without a car I’m stuck here. Oh how I would love to be even 20 mins outside of town. Thanks for the link and you take care as well. You seem to be a compassionate person too.
We watched this a short while back and I can honestly say that there wasn’t a dry eye in our house. It’s a classic story about love, and life, and hope.
yes an absolute timeless classic for the young and old. I cried as well. I just finished watching it again. I revisit it every few years or so. It’s one of those feel good movies that I watch when I need to pick up my spirits. Well all except for the ending of course❣️
I just love this movie. When I was about 9 years old my Dad rented this movie shortly after getting our first VCR. I didn’t want to watch it. I felt all grown up by then and too old to be watching a Disney movie. I want to shout out a big thanks to my dear old Dad for having sat threw the movie with me. I loved it from start to finish and still do.
true, but watch the movie, its a total new level of ignorance in all aspects
Yes please explain, I can’t think of one scene in this movie that shows any kind of ignorance
Amy simply has to go to a facility for awhile and get medication and counseling. I’m afraid she’s going to do something stupid if she doesn’t. I’ve been where she is, and I honestly thought of ending it all. I truly hope the family can talk her into getting help, and if she won’t, commit her.
On the other hand, Misty looks amazing! Good to see Tammy having a good time, too.
I agree on all the points you made. I do hope she gets some help. It is so scary feeling like that. I shall pray for her when I say my prayers tonight. You have a blessed night too.
I knew she was abusing him long before the trial. You could just see in pictures at events where he was overweight, greasy hair, looked beat down and she looked so haughty. I’m so glad he’s rid of her. I just wish Hollywood would come around and start putting him into decent movies again.
I really want that for him too. Although he is the kind my man that might be so hurt by Hollywood blacklisting him over nothing more than rumors that he might be done with Hollywood himself. I just hope he feels contentment and finds happiness again. Whatever that might be for him. He finds much joy in performing in his band, the Hollywood vampires therefore it’s possible that Johnny will continue on with his music and that will be enough for him. I would love to see him in more films. I do hope he returns to the big screen one day. I most certainly share that sentiment with you
I think Amy needs a couple weeks on a mental ward. Everyone has a breaking point if she really is bipolar etc. I know I had one of my worse break downs at her age. I completely snapped and went into psychosis due to my bipolar. I’m afraid for the children at this point. She needs time to just work on herself. Also it is well known that woman with mental illness when have one baby after another causes postpartum and postpartum psychosis. They all think she’s feeling sorry for herself but I believe it’s way more than that.
maybe ok for older children to watch, it’s all CGI and probably much of the narrating seems unlikely to be factual
This is my favorite Johnny Depp movie. i can’t believe he was 28 when he made this movie. For so long, he didn’t look his age, but his habits are catching up with him now.
Johnny’s looking more like his old self since the trial ended. He’s lost some weight and he finally seems content and happy. I believe much of his drink and drug used stemmed from his very unhappy life with the crazy wife.
John and Andi are such a sweet couple. I hope John continues on his road to recovery
I was just a young girl when this happened therefore I don’t recall when the tragedy happened. However I grew up with this music so it is something I very much want to see. Thanks for this opportunity
Well I didn’t like it. I love the cast so I thought I would. Perhaps I will give it another chance but I couldn’t get past 30 mins of it
Sorry, those were childhood things. We live in a modern home now. All the best.
Hey ThinMan. How are you today? No need to say sorry. We all have some dark memories from childhood. All the best to you too
Well, we are good. We’ve a family here, and an extended “Aunt” that uses this profile. We all were very poor by American standards. Dirt floors, or concrete, no carpeting. Open fires. Hand-me-downs and foster care for myself, my wife and our “Aunt” friend. It’s not easy, it still isn’t but we ARE grateful for what we have which is solidarity and real love. Thanks and hope you are keeping well.
Thank you so much. I apricate your well wishes. I also would like for your circumstances to be better. It should be this way in the western world. There is plenty of wealth to go around. God bless to you and your little family
Agreed, but it is “britches” meaning, boots, as I understand it. We aren’t American but have a similar saying. This episode is TRAGIC beyond tragedy. Why the hell would you do this???
Hey ThinMan, how are you? I knew I was spelling it wrong also I thought the saying referred to the pants a man wore. Thanks for straighten that out for me. I’m not American either, I’m Canadian and was raised in the country where people were so poor some of them wore Garbage bags to school when it rained due to no raincoats or they had dirt floors no carpets or plywood and they talked like that. I wasn’t raise poor. My Dad did not like me hanging with the poor children as I adopted their backward talk and Dad didn’t like that. I just wanted to fit in.It was a very tragic case. I couldn’t help thinking of my Mom and Dad. If that had happen to them. There would have been no need for a trial or execution
Good episode. They all are. It’s a really good show. When Kelly said her Mom used to say He is too big for his own Bridges, well I haven’t heard that saying since I was a kid. This old couple being snuffed out in such a callous way really upsets me. My parents are in their golden years been married over 50 years. I would lose my mind if that happened to them
That might be why you watch this series, but I do so for the storytelling. Each season, except 3, is an allegorical tale of a period in America. The deaths of none of those characters except for the cowboys, some of whom did die, would have advanced the storyline or made any sense. As unlikeable as they were, Karen and Gator were victims. Witt”s sacrifice was sufficient to serve that role in the story. Kill the sineater? His redemption and release were a perfect message of hope. If you understand how all this relates to this particular moment in time in America and the difficulties we are facing, you’ll see how perfect and necessary this story is, however doubtful it is that the ones who need this message most are likely to receive it.
I agree if you want to see a shoot out and loads of people dying then watch TWD. This series had such incredible character building, like nothing I’ve watched in a series in quite sometime. If the viewer wants mindless viewing then this isn’t your series for sure. Your mention of Witts sacrifice really upset me too. Also I would preferred them to go to prison then just get shot. I found that to be way more satisfying, and redeeming. Also Jennifer’s visit with him in Prison was priceless. I loved every minute of her having him messing in his pants. Great work on the writers and the actors as well as the directing. Everyone was so important and did their job in stellar regard
so very satisfying something so rarely seen in series today. Great job by all. I loved every minute of it. Now I hope I don’t go into withdrawal
The three links are the Creative Arts Emmys, not the Primetime Emmy Awards
Norman is just a baby in this. Adrian Brody with the cornrows. I didn’t expect that.💛
Doubt what? That her previous abuse factors in? I’m unclear what you were replying to. ✌(‘ω’)
oh dear spelling errors, sorry for the confusion. What I meant was I wouldn’t doubt it if he did kill someone. Abuse victims do tend to be targets to be abused over and over again. Therefore I do worry for her.👌
Any chance of getting something better than a “cam” version of this please?
depending on the popularity of the movie it can take as long as two or three months. When a better version is dropped it will be posted
She admitted to being in a very abusive relationship before this, so that does factor in. He was yelling at her and hanging up and threatening her. Talking on the phone and writing letters doesn’t count as being involved with someone intimately. The real person comes out in real life and under stress. If he’s like this now, I cannot imagine what’s ahead. Sad.
yes sad is the word. I would doubt it if he’s capable of killing a someone. He goes from 0-100 in no time and she’s letting him treat her that way without any emotion therefore I suspect he’s been doing this to her for a long while. She seems to just shut down or let it roll off her back. It’s not a good dynastic in such a new relationship
Under the best of circumstances, intimate relationships are difficult. The romantic, dreamer, believer in love hopes for these people, but the realist sees a lot of issues already starting to boil over.
the girl that’s with Michael (Mr. tantrum) seems to already been Stockholmed. She needs to go back home to safety that guy seems dangerous and controlling. I don’t understand the risk these woman are taking. I know it’s just a show but they are from another country. America is a whole other beast then what they are used to
just another that hasn’t made their way back since the lawsuit
oh ok thanks for letting me know. I hope you are well tonight. We are having a nasty storm here in Canada
I love me a good western. Old ones new ones, well mostly the old ones. This kind of reminds me of Unforgiven some. Ethan Hawke is one of my favorite actors and this is my first time watching him perform in a western. I know he did a western series a while back too. This is a really good movie. All the actors are stirring up the emotions that they should. For a Blumhouse production it’s one of the best I’ve watched. I’m always leary when I see it’s been done by Blumhouse, as there are some that suck big time, 5 stars from me
wow I’m am gob smacked at how good this movie is. Most redo’s suck now a days but this kid Xavier Samuel plays his part so well. It is a great updated version of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. I was going to watch the one with Robert DeNiro again but I’m glad that I gave this one a chance. 5 stars
I remember when I saw this for the first time when it was released on video, I didn’t even realize Robert DeNiro played Frankenstein. The make up artists were really amazing back then. Now it’s mostly CGI. The work that was put into movies before CGI, well there is no comparison to watching a good old fashion movie and one made today.
Please we need links for this movie. Thank you
I requested for you. Maybe the more people that request the better the chances are. Good luck
Great episode and Kurtclearwater is so correct. It flies by so quick leaving me wanting more, more, more.
Wow, what some men can do to other men on the grounds of simple chivalry or because they can’t control themselves when angry. So many lives over and ruined. Not just on the victims side but also the perps side too. One of them has a daughter and will be brought up by the system and have lord knows what done to her. So dumb and never had to happen, any of it
He actually has a PhD and several creditable specialist degrees in mental health. I’d say, he presents himself as a genuinely caring individual. Isn’t that so rare? I hope he preserves himself. He presents as a giver/preciever. I get what you’re saying!
I know I wish I could find a mental health doctor like him or any mental health doctor in this town!
I just have to make one remark on this dedicated show. Dr. David Tolin is still so good looking after all these years. I love his eyes they are like pools from the ocean
all I would like to say I think it’s awful what Gypsy went through but I think it’s a travesty that Nicholas is serving a life sentence because without Gypsy’s plan her Mom would still be alive. She set the wheels in motion and guided him through the entire crime. I wonder if she will admit that?
He really loves his family, I will give him that. His laugh is annoying, but he is a sweet guy who does what it takes to take care of them. I believe he worked (maybe still does) as a manager at McDonald’s before he got a place on the show. His wife is very sweet and quiet, and obviously loves him very much. I wish she could get some treatment for her alopecia, because I’ve seen pics of her before she had it and she is very cute.
oh wow I didn’t realize she has alopecia. She is a very sweet woman. Also I think Chris’ laugh is funny. It’s more a nervous laugh I think. Also I think Amy needs a couple weeks on a mental floor, to get her medication right and she really needs a rest from the chaos. It’s no good having all that chaos when she’s that depressed.
