Nothing memorable here. It wasn’t scary to me. I’ve seen so much of this genre, so this movie did little for me.

Ah, good old cheesy fun, from back in the days. Not a masterpiece, but it was fun to watch.

Greed will always be someone’s demise. And it’s worse when it comes from a family member. Reminds me of the Menendez brothers. Wanted to get to their parents money before their death. People who had EVERYTHING that life can offer, and could’ve had a productive future. Gone down the drain for greed. Good watch.

And this is why I watch less movies and more TV series instead. Especially since the beginning of the pandemic. Seems like James Wan has settled into a formulaic comfort, full of the usual clichés, that have existed in the horror genre for decades, now. When he first came about, it was refreshing to see his style of horror. But now, he seems to have lost his creative wand, just to follow into the trail of predictability. Now, I gave it 2 stars, because of the effects and the gore. The effects alone, were quite amazing and creepy as hell. And the gore was on point. But besides that, nothing that hasn’t been done before. And it’s sad, for I though this guy would be a redemption in modern horror. He quickly becoming the next M. Night Shyamalan. Makes a splash in the beginning, then settled into the routine.

I absolutely loved this movie. Just mesmerizing to watch. I highly recommend it.

As much as I sympathize with the victim, she had PLENTY of red flags thrown at her, to prevent what ultimately happened. It’s OK to be in love, but you have to read some signs given to you. I admire her for standing up for herself, after the gruesome facts. A cautionary tale for women.

I wasn’t sure about this movie when it started, but it quickly took me over. I thoroughly enjoyed it by the end. It’s definitely worth watch.

You can see how much this case has impacted the detective involved. But thank Heavens for his determination and wanting to seek justice for those little boys. Good on him. We need more of him.

It’s interesting to see how the mentality back then, was so radically extreme. And it’s not that long ago! The “tunnel vision” was heavenly influenced by blatant racism. It is an unfortunate part of American history.

I remember this case. Good thing I’m not a believer, cuz after I read about 5this case, I surely would’ve lost my faith in pastors and their churches. Seems like the ultimate judgement was called on this pastor. Good watch.

I was scared sh*tless for a long time, after I saw this movie. Couldn’t go to the theaters for a while, actually. Another good/bad trauma of my childhood.

Detective Molly Daul is a badass policewoman. I admire such officer who is dedicated to being the voice of the dead. Good watch.

I have to admit as a Canadian, I am ashamed of how the justice system has been fooled by this creature. Unfortunately, the system was too lenient with her offenses. Had she been in the US, the pattern of her behavior would’ve been enough for a circumstantial win of guilty. In Canada, this serial killer is allowed to walk free. Pretty sure had she been a man, she would’ve been in jail.

This is one of the worse betrayal a person can goes through. One doesn’t expect a doctor, who took an oath to heal, to purposely arms his patients, and of worse things, for money. So much pain all around.

Teenagers takes love so seriously, not realizing that they have their whole lives ahead of them. Sad when it leads to violence.

Always interesting to hear a case from other people’s perspective. Especially the victim. make no mistake, as far as I’m concerned, Cheryl was the victim, not her father. He only got his comeuppance. I do not condone violence, but there are situations like THIS ONE, where one understands the use of violence. And that husband of hers. What a strong man! Kudos to him for restoring her faith in men. At least a little bit. Good watch.

Geesh! This man is very diabolical. Gives you chills that creatures like this exist among us. Interesting first episode.

At the time, I remember thinking that this man was justified in his actions. But when the audio tapes came out, my mind changed big time. The coldness was jaw-dropping. An example of how one own’s security installation, turns against you. Good watch.

I didn’t learn anything new with this episode, about this case. Like many people, I was fascinated with the disappearance of Elisa Lam. Her behavior in the CCTV clip, was bizarre. I still have some questions about the investigation. LAPD closed the case, but onw wonders. Can’t say that I liked the delivery of contain, in ep. 1. It sounded more like it belonged on YouTube. Will see for next episode.

Bette Davis was deliciously evil and Leslie Howard was on point, as always. love this movie and I highly recommend it.

That poor excuse for a man, should’ve gotten the death penalty, for his crime. That’s just my opinion. Crimes against pregnant woman is unforgivable.

An OK one-time watch. The storyline has been used so many times, it’s redundant. If one is really bored, than I guess this will do. But don’t expect anything phenomenal.

Well, that was an interesting little secret. Gotta say, I didn’t see it coming. Will keep watching.

It was a good watch, if one wants to catch up to the case, that has many twists and turns.

Still more tidbits that I did not know about, in this episode. I really feel sorry for the families who lost a loved one to the sociopathic/psychopathic Murdaughs. So much justice denied. Shame on the varied police departments who failed these families.

Till this day, I enjoy watching this movie whenever it’s on TV somewhere. It just makes me smile. A classic worth watching over and over again.
