Dateline: Secrets Uncovered (2017) S2017 E4

This young woman is one tough cookie. Despite her awful injury, she survived to live for both of them. I truly admire her. Good watch.

Dateline: Secrets Uncovered (2017) S2017 E3

This woman didn’t have to die. A true innocent victim. My heart goes out to her family. Good watch.

Deadly Sins (2012) S1 E3
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

In the first case, that man deserved nothing but death. ANY so-called man that can do what he did to his own children, should not be able to still breathe, while those innocent souls cannot. What a coward! And in the second case, I don’t understand why this woman got a deal, to get her off death penalty. If there was ever a case to justify such judgement, this is one of them. She doesn’t deserve to live the rest of her breathing, while these babies cannot. An awful case.

Deadly Sins (2012) S1 E2
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Talking about manipulation to a greedy end. Those girls were deviously clever, but karma came on knockin’. Will keep watching this series.

Deadly Sins (2012) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Gluttony got the best of this Marine. The man was clearly addicted to drama and lust, another sin. Good watch.

Tales from the Occult (2022)
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Nothing memorable here. It wasn’t scary to me. I’ve seen so much of this genre, so this movie did little for me.

Blood Relatives (2012) S1 E4
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Got the feeling that the daughter was involved also. She created her alibi by going to her aunt’s house while mom did the deed. The ultimate conclusion is that we have yet another well-off family losing everything because of greed.

Critters (1986)
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

Ah, good old cheesy fun, from back in the days. Not a masterpiece, but it was fun to watch.

Blood Relatives (2012) S1 E3
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Greed will always be someone’s demise. And it’s worse when it comes from a family member. Reminds me of the Menendez brothers. Wanted to get to their parents money before their death. People who had EVERYTHING that life can offer, and could’ve had a productive future. Gone down the drain for greed. Good watch.

Fatal Encounters (2012) S1 E3
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I can’t believe that some people cared more about those sausages not being made anymore, than the lives of the victims. Makes you wonder if there is any moral compass left in humanity. Good watch.

Fatal Encounters (2012) S1 E2
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

What a shame, that a cop supposed to “protect and serve”, used her privileges wrongly. She could’ve been such an inspiration. What a waste.

Abuse of Power (2018) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

What a badass mother! She made the ultimate sacrifice to protect her babies. Good for her. Will keep watching.

Malignant (2021)
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

And this is why I watch less movies and more TV series instead. Especially since the beginning of the pandemic. Seems like James Wan has settled into a formulaic comfort, full of the usual clichés, that have existed in the horror genre for decades, now. When he first came about, it was refreshing to see his style of horror. But now, he seems to have lost his creative wand, just to follow into the trail of predictability. Now, I gave it 2 stars, because of the effects and the gore. The effects alone, were quite amazing and creepy as hell. And the gore was on point. But besides that, nothing that hasn’t been done before. And it’s sad, for I though this guy would be a redemption in modern horror. He quickly becoming the next M. Night Shyamalan. Makes a splash in the beginning, then settled into the routine.

Swamp Murders (2013) S1 E2
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Man, if you can’t even trust the ones close to you, what is the point? All the people involved were hanging around sketchy individuals. Things were bound to go wrong, eventually. Good watch.

House of Flying Daggers (2004)
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

I absolutely loved this movie. Just mesmerizing to watch. I highly recommend it.

Kiss of Death (2017) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

As much as I sympathize with the victim, she had PLENTY of red flags thrown at her, to prevent what ultimately happened. It’s OK to be in love, but you have to read some signs given to you. I admire her for standing up for herself, after the gruesome facts. A cautionary tale for women.

Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936)
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

I wasn’t sure about this movie when it started, but it quickly took me over. I thoroughly enjoyed it by the end. It’s definitely worth watch.

Real Detective (2016) S1 E2
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

You can see how much this case has impacted the detective involved. But thank Heavens for his determination and wanting to seek justice for those little boys. Good on him. We need more of him.

Real Detective (2016) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

This was an interesting case, for sure. Narcissism will get you every time. Good watch.

A Crime to Remember (2013) S1 E2
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

It’s interesting to see how the mentality back then, was so radically extreme. And it’s not that long ago! The “tunnel vision” was heavenly influenced by blatant racism. It is an unfortunate part of American history.

Killing Spree (2014) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

It is annoying that we do not know about the reasons why this guy did what he did. But at least, he is where he belongs. Good watch.

Of Mice and Men (1940)
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

This movie was fascinating and ultimately sad. A classic worth watching.

A Crime to Remember (2013) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Although I do think that this mother had something to do with the death of her children, I don’t think the prosecution had a solid enough of a case, to bring before a jury. Jury made of married men only? That is not fair. I also thing that the leading detective had tunnel vision. He had from the get-go, his mind made up about who was guilty. And shame to all those around, who went along with his clear sexism and bias. Unfortunately, we will never the real truth.

D.O.A. (1950)
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

I really enjoyed this movie. The way the narrative comes at you is different and intriguing. Definitely worth watching.

Killer Clergy (2016) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

I remember this case. Good thing I’m not a believer, cuz after I read about 5this case, I surely would’ve lost my faith in pastors and their churches. Seems like the ultimate judgement was called on this pastor. Good watch.

Demons (1985)
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

I was scared sh*tless for a long time, after I saw this movie. Couldn’t go to the theaters for a while, actually. Another good/bad trauma of my childhood.

The Wonderland Murders (2018) S1 E1
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

Detective Molly Daul is a badass policewoman. I admire such officer who is dedicated to being the voice of the dead. Good watch.

Black Widow Murders (2022) S1 E1
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

I have to admit as a Canadian, I am ashamed of how the justice system has been fooled by this creature. Unfortunately, the system was too lenient with her offenses. Had she been in the US, the pattern of her behavior would’ve been enough for a circumstantial win of guilty. In Canada, this serial killer is allowed to walk free. Pretty sure had she been a man, she would’ve been in jail.

Deadly Power (2018) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

This is one of the worse betrayal a person can goes through. One doesn’t expect a doctor, who took an oath to heal, to purposely arms his patients, and of worse things, for money. So much pain all around.

Grave Secrets (2016) S1 E2
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Teenagers takes love so seriously, not realizing that they have their whole lives ahead of them. Sad when it leads to violence.

Grave Secrets (2016) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Geesh! Divorce would’ve been so much better, for this guy. Everybody loses in this case. Especially the little girl. I hope she is well surrounded, emotionally. Another keeper.

I, Witness (2017) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Always interesting to hear a case from other people’s perspective. Especially the victim. make no mistake, as far as I’m concerned, Cheryl was the victim, not her father. He only got his comeuppance. I do not condone violence, but there are situations like THIS ONE, where one understands the use of violence. And that husband of hers. What a strong man! Kudos to him for restoring her faith in men. At least a little bit. Good watch.

The Widower (2014) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Geesh! This man is very diabolical. Gives you chills that creatures like this exist among us. Interesting first episode.

Hear No Evil (2017) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

At the time, I remember thinking that this man was justified in his actions. But when the audio tapes came out, my mind changed big time. The coldness was jaw-dropping. An example of how one own’s security installation, turns against you. Good watch.

Cold Case Detective (2019) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

I didn’t learn anything new with this episode, about this case. Like many people, I was fascinated with the disappearance of Elisa Lam. Her behavior in the CCTV clip, was bizarre. I still have some questions about the investigation. LAPD closed the case, but onw wonders. Can’t say that I liked the delivery of contain, in ep. 1. It sounded more like it belonged on YouTube. Will see for next episode.

Of Human Bondage (1934)
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

Bette Davis was deliciously evil and Leslie Howard was on point, as always. love this movie and I highly recommend it.

Shadow of Doubt (2016) S1 E2
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

That poor excuse for a man, should’ve gotten the death penalty, for his crime. That’s just my opinion. Crimes against pregnant woman is unforgivable.

Shadow of Doubt (2016) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

With friends kike that, who needs enemies. Women today have to be so careful, ALL THE TIME. Even when you think you are among friends, one has to be wary. It’s a sad reality, but true. Good watch.

Undeniable (2014)
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

OK for a one-time watch.

Undeniable (2014) S1 E2
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

An OK one-time watch. The storyline has been used so many times, it’s redundant. If one is really bored, than I guess this will do. But don’t expect anything phenomenal.

My Dirty Little Secret (2013) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Well, that was an interesting little secret. Gotta say, I didn’t see it coming. Will keep watching.

A Stranger in My Home (2013) S1 E3
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This man unfortunately, trusted the wrong people. Money tends to attract sharks.

Deadly Demands (2016) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Another coward who cannot accept rejection, and many innocent lives are impacted. Kudos to brave Nancy.

Low Country: The Murdaugh Dynasty (2022)
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

It was a good watch, if one wants to catch up to the case, that has many twists and turns.

Low Country: The Murdaugh Dynasty (2022) S1 E3
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This was quiet interesting. Learned things that I was not aware of, on the side of the mainstream’s media big titles. And it’s not over yet. There’s more to come. I can’t help but feel like karma has finally caught up with this twisted family. Too long have their hold crippled the lives of many. And it’s fascinating to hear the conversations between Alex and his son, Buster. The man is COMPLETELY oblivious to the pain he’s caused around him. It baffles the mind. I wonder what next can possibly happen with this case. Good watch.

Low Country: The Murdaugh Dynasty (2022) S1 E2
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Still more tidbits that I did not know about, in this episode. I really feel sorry for the families who lost a loved one to the sociopathic/psychopathic Murdaughs. So much justice denied. Shame on the varied police departments who failed these families.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago.

Till this day, I enjoy watching this movie whenever it’s on TV somewhere. It just makes me smile. A classic worth watching over and over again.

Low Country: The Murdaugh Dynasty (2022) S1 E1
BellaMia1 2 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I’ve been following this case since the very beginning, with Malory’s death. I made a point to read a lot about the Murdaughs, because their dynasty seemed to have many counties in their firm grasp. Which is unusual. The more I read about it, the more shady things seemed to happen around that family. And as the weeks passed, there were more twists and turns happening, in real time. Hollywood couldn’t come up with a script like this! I didn’t know about the videos bits, especially in the hospital. Where you literally see the privileged machine aspect of this family, start working to protect their own asses. To hell that someone’s child is dead. People you KNOW. So twisted and fascinating.

The Killer Closer (2018) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

This detective was badass. being the voice of the dead, clearly means a lot to her. Good for her.

Married with Secrets (2016) S1 E1
BellaMia1 1 points 1 year ago.

Damn! This poor excuse for a man, was one heck of a trickster. Leaving these ladies with all this s**t to deal with. What a loser! I feel for the ladies and their kids.
