Aquaman (2018)
finigan1 -3 points 5 years ago.

Watched half of it last night, and no,I didn’t turn it off because I was bored or because it is a crappy copy, its actually a really good copy seeing it doesn’t come out in theaters for another two weeks,I was just tired, very late. This takes more from the way they made wonder women, with the origin story, not as solid as wonder woman, but considering aquaman is pretty much the laughing stock of all superheroes, and him being the best character in justice league,I am gonna give him the benefit of the doubt, and wait till dvd to finish this. What I saw was cool and I think deserves the wait. And Amber Heard likes crazy people,Elon Musk,Johnny Depp being pretty will have to do lol.

Hellboy (2019)
finigan1 -3 points 4 years ago.

This is like the predator and the new men in black, which everyone seems to hate as well, I wasn’t expecting much and was not disappointed. It is not meant to be anything more then what it is,like really were you expecting the avengers?David harbour did a good job, he kicked ass in stranger things and here to.Again why people take these movies as something serious I will never know when it is just supposed to be ridiculous, a good watch for me.And funny at times. There are several easter eggs in the credits to so watch till the very end.

Would you say it was a touching episode?

finigan1 -4 points 5 years ago.

A response like that does really make me want to bitch slap you rowdyrepublican, so ya some touching would be a great thing right about now.

Harley Quinn (2019)
Krl246 -2 points 4 years ago.

Mark Hamill’s Harley Quinn is Arleen Sorkin. “Mr. J.” is her line.

finigan1 -5 points 4 years ago.

Azarath Metrion Zynthos,Tara is Harley,Raven just made it so, not that she had to

Bumblebee (2018)

The 80’s timeline was fun. Some good tunes I hadn’t heard for a while. Along with movies and tv. And the mention of things that haven’t happened yet.Over all it was just another transformer movie though, nothing you haven’t seen in the others.2.5/5

“based on facts that can not be argued”. Ok lol
This was actually just a lil test to see how long it would take for one of you guys to respond. 30 minutes. getting kinda slow. Maybe we’re de-evolving back to slugs now

It doesn’t take long for someone to post a comment in the first place just to try and get a reaction either.

I agree with tiger8me, if you haven’t seen the raid series then you are missing out, likely the best action movies ever made in my mind. Bourne is alright but he ain’t no Iko Uwais.

I like this show so far, one of my favorite books is Oliver Twist. But bringing a barrel of salt peter / ammonium nitrate, and a flame into a tunnel filled with methane? A simple spark from Jacks boots would make them all go boom. That is a very huge oversight from the writing crew. Possibly the most flammable gas there is. My stove runs on it. And yes, blue angels are real. I don’t cut the cheese anymore per say , I consider it self grooming, it helps burn off anything unwanted that may still be lingering. It actually works much better than a biday imo.

When did he become a scriptwriter? He’s not even good at comedy.

finigan1 -1 points 2 years ago*.

I suppose he is trying out some other things he is really not good at like Seth Rogan. A little bit of money and they can suddenly do what ever they want. If I see another Tyler Perry anything, there is absolutely no hope for any of us.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
finigan1 -1 points 5 years ago*.

I have enjoyed all the installments, its spidey how can you not, but there are big differences. Toby to me was just to old although they were good movies. Garfield was a joke to me,way over the top, not spidey , and Jamie Fox as Electro was so cheesy, it reminded me of batman with Arnie. This on the other hand is not only who spidey is but who Peter Parker is, a geeky kid who is just trying to fit in. One thing I do dislike is them always starting it over with every incarnation, it is different actors and directors and all that, but starting the entire thing over every time, I have seen it already many times. But luckily they don’t do that with this movie, that is all said and done. The same story repeated over and over gets old no matter who is playing it or how it is directed and portrayed.

Stephanie (2018)
finigan1 -1 points 5 years ago.

The description gave way to much away, I wouldn’t have known what the hell was going on for most of the movie if I hadn’t read it.It really ruins the mystery by pointing certain things out. I suggest just going into this blind.Changing the description would make this a much better watch.”An abandoned girl has a man and a women who claim to be her parents come home.” Simple and to the point and still describes the movie, but doesn’t give anything away. It deserves a 4/5.But I can only give it a 3/5 because much of the mystery was ruined for me.

Holy nausea, Batman! Rogan gives me a tummy ache

finigan1 -1 points 2 years ago.

Danny Mcbride and Seth Rogan co wrote pineapple express, so that is a thing if your really high and don’t care, and like to see Franco on a cops windshield.

I haven’t seen it but it says adult comedy in the description so it would be wise to see it for yourself to see if it is to adult for a younger audience.Just a heads up because some people are thinking its a kids show.

Hemlock Grove (2013)

Not your typical vampire werewolf show,it is very macabre and they ended it well. Bill Skarsgard, pennywise from IT is cool in it also.

Greyhound (2020)

I was a fan of Tom’s, but after watching the 2020 golden globes, and seeing the fear and shame he showed, not anymore. Ricky Gervais exposed them all for what they really are. From Epstein to Weinstein, to you have no right to say anything to anyone about anything, none of you live in the real world. Tom Hanks looking like a deer caught in the headlights says it all, guilt, shame and fear. I have lost all respect for him and many others. So watch your little show, say if it was good or not, but don’t praise a piece of shit that helped enable monsters and is case in point a monster themselves for doing so. He looked much more guilty then just being an enabler, he looked more like a willing participant, and I am very good judge at reading people. For many years I have suffered with social anxiety, but it turns out its not anxiety at all, I am empathic, all the feelings that overwhelm me when I am around people are not my own, they are everyone elses, and the feeling I got from watching him squirm was obvious, he is a piece of shit and guilty as fuck.

Are they trying to phase this series out? all the rest are running this week but this one doesn’t start again till april fools, which really makes me wonder. Weird and maybe informative as well.Lets hope its not the dreaded thing we all fear when such things happen.

Yesterday (2019)

This was an interesting fantasy. Kind of like a time travel movie. I like that idea. I was never a big Beatles’ fan, but I do recognize legends when I hear them, and if I had been a big Beatkes’ fan, there are some scenes in here that really would’ve made me choke up. In fact, I did get choked up a little bit, anyhow. I think it’s a very sweet movie, although the performer is pretty awful. I thought we were supposed to think he blew his first live concert, but it was supposed to have been a great success, and I and a few other musicians were the only ones laughing. I think if you love the Beatles and/or like time travel/alternate universe flicks, you might enjoy this.

finigan1 -4 points 4 years ago*.

Being a musician myself I thought he did a great job personally.Recreating the genius that is the beatles is pretty much impossible for anyone, which is why there is very very few worthy covers of any of their music, not even a handful have done it successfully. So I am impressed with this nobody’s performance considering the best of the best there is have failed, or will not even try for obvious reasons.I am biased though I guess, I grew up with the beatles, they are the pinnacle of music and have influenced people that you would never expect. Ozzy’s idol is John Lennon, and he admitted it himself, there would have never been black sabbath if it were not for the beatles. Only one of thousands of big names over the years who were inspired by them. With that said I will leave you with one of the best covers there is. A canadian blind man named Jeff Healey “RIP” who plays the guitar on his lap.

And I can’t leave it without the best beatles cover ever, enjoy.

I was reading that this show and arrow may have 1 more season left after this but it’s still up in the air. But all the CW DC shows have been renewed as of a couple of months ago.
Will probably be done with the whole arrowverse if both of these are canceled.

finigan1 -4 points 5 years ago.

Agreed, I like legends more then all the other shows, and they not taking part in the annual team up gave me a poke also.I hope I am wrong. The only thing I have a problem with in arrow is Felicity, she is annoying, otherwise I don’t see why the show can’t go on for years more.
I just heard that DC is gonna get as far away from team ups as possible in the movies and possibly shows.Big mistake in my opinion.

Zari and Amaya/Charlie, for the win, now that would be so….inappropriate, please make it happen. I really like Zari, she is a wonderful, but that would be a problem to probably seeing that she is islamic.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016)

I am a 45 year old straight man who has never questioned his sexuality, it’s just who I am.I have worked with and know gay and lesbian people, hell my father came out as bisexual at about the same age that I am now.I have absolutely no problem with it whats so ever, but I know who I am! And from my experiences with knowing people that had a hard time accepting who they are, they pretty much lashed out against it. Most of the people I know all said the same thing. That they didn’t want to hear or see anything that had to do with it and called it a sin or worse. Not because they thought it was wrong or immoral, but because they couldn’t accept how they really felt about. Most bashers especially the devout religious, are so hateful because they see and feel something in their selves that they were taught is wrong. I really do feel sorry for the haters, because for the most part they are hating themselves.Make no mistake, those who put such things down in awful ways are the ones who are trying to hide from themselves and the rest of the world. And for the record, I know several lesbian couples that would make Sara and Eva look obsolete. They do much more than just exist.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016)
finigan1 -5 points 5 years ago*.

Good show,my favorite really for all the CW,DC shows, titans is better of course but not the CW.I love the way they mix all the pop culture, myth and magic, legends and truths and just have fun with it.I really have a hard time with all the bashing though when it comes to gay and lesbian content. It is something that has always been and always will be. Everyone has the right to be represented and I for one think it is about time that ignorance and hate should be bombarded with it, so maybe their children will be saturated enough to not give a shit anymore like any other moral person. And while you are bitching about that, you have no problem with a girl having a crush on a very primitive, hairy, unibrow, knuckle dragging animal?
That does describe many men though, especially the ones who would say that being gay is immoral.Like a very wise man once said, and I quote: “I ams what I ams,and thats all that I ams!” :POPEYE
