Would they have used the term “grooming” in that way in 1995? I hadn’t heard that term used that way until like mid-2000s.
Just a nitpick though. Love the show.

Surprisingly good, funny and ultimately sad short story starring Anne Hathaway in 3 roles. Lots of cool pop culture references too. Curious to find out how the Rest of this series is!
This was one of the flat out funniest episodes of tv I’ve seen in a LONG time! Penny is so pathetic but cool in the same way. It’s bonkers. Every joke lands. Its just so freaking funny. This show is such a winner.
I can’t get over this is still standing when great shows are dropping left and right! EXCUSE ME but A SEASON 3! Shows like “Invincible” and “Preacher” get cancelled and idk even shows like “Prodigal Son” and “American Gods”(awful 3rd season)! I know different networks, time slots and audiences play into what happens to a show but really I feel someone has serious connections and favors owed to keep this on the air. Maybe its better now that Ruby Rose is gone? How it even made it past season 1 is beyond me. She is God-awful…how she keeps getting roles ????? maybe with acting lessons she could improve? She’s pretty but you either have it or you don’t…she’s just better as a the supporting actress who supports the supporting actress, in action movies as a sniper or whatever with 2sec screen time…lol ok I’m being mean now. I’m just mad this crap is renewed again!!! I’ll stop venting on here lol
Yeah, “Invincible” is the very opposite of cancelled lol. Renewed for 2 more seasons, similar to “Young Sheldon” being renewed for 3 more seasons!
An interesting storyline, with interesting characters. Especially DS Stone. I’m a bit more used to him, although I still find him somewhat irritating. But he’s smart, so that balances things for me. I will keep watching for now.
It’s funny you are doing the opposite of what I’m doing. I’ve been dying to watch “Viewpoint” but because of the mounting sexual misconduct allegations against Noel Clarke (who is also in this show which I watched years back), I’ve kind of opted to wait until it “dies down” but…. Yeah lol.
Judging by all the fake reviews on IMDB, they burned more money on them than they did the movie. Must be a real winner (er, weiner)
Those “reviews” are hilarious though lol. Apparently it’s “the greatest movie of all-time” lol. Yeah, I totally believe that!
Citizen Kane is like “hold my beer”
She looks like my aunt who was on meth lol. My aunt’s been dead for over a decade though.
Spoiler alert: Thomasin McKenzie will be guessed a million bazillion times but will never be under the mask because she’s Thomasin freakin’ McKenzie!

I don’t know. Oh, Ziwe.

Looking forward to this drama and I had watched a few British tv shows with Cush Jumbo before she headed across the pond to star in The Good Wife/The Good Fight. This drama is adapted from a book written by Daniel Day-Lewis’ father in 1938.
Cecil Day-Lewis.
Wonder if he abandoned his son, abandoned his boy, drank your milkshake. DRANK IT UP!!!!
just noticed…ENDED!!! Really?! Someone should hang for this!
Neil Gaiman has talked about wanting to shop the show to other networks/services but unless Peacock (or something like that) is desperate for an already established show, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Great episode 👍
This show is soooooooo much better when it focuses on the girls.
At this point I thought Chad was irredeemable as a character and (fictional) person but then I watched episode 5 and there is a sliver of hope there. I still think he’s pretty irredeemable. He’s a characicture (sic?) of a 14yo jagoff we all knew (or were) in high school who ONLY cares about status.
This was a sweet episode. Chad is still a jerk but this episode really humanized him a little bit. The moments between him and his sister Niki were sweet and Kensington Tallman guest starring as Avery stole the show.
Episode 5 was only released online due to sexual misconduct allegations levelled against star Noel Clarke.
Dakota Fanning was really good in this.
It’s sad it pretty much sunk her career for a few years and made her a punchline. Thankfully, she doesn’t seem to care as she named her dog and now her production company after her character in this film!
Why did i never hear of this? Not bad. 7/10
Probably because it was on CBS All Access (now Paramount+) which never really took off
I really liked “Mindhunter” and it was total BS that Netflix cancelled such a terrific series, it had such incredible potential too. Thanks for suggesting this one and looking forward to watching it.
They recently announced a third season of Mindhunter is in very early development
Thomasin McKenzie from “JoJo Rabbit” and Adolf Hitler together again lol. This is sure to be significantly less comedic than Taika’s film though.
Proof that youtubers shouldn’t leave youtube
I think it’s pretty decent. Is it perfect? No. However, I think I like the new COVID-era format more than the first season when she had the desk and studio audience and was a more traditional late night gabfest
This will be a nice change from the entitled, wealthy characters in HBO’s recent crime shows.
Twenty minutes in and I’m ready to vomit. Too much switching back and forth too soon. “Damages” was great at going back and forth but this is like being on a bad mushroom trip. Besides that, the lead girl is way out of her league. The director should have told her to tone it down. Cringe!
I’ll agree that the girl playing the coward Jeannette Turner pretty as she is is overacting or weirdly underacting. Everyone else on the show acts circles around her (except for Kevin Smith’s kid who is so bad in this) but I have to disagree about all the switching back and forth. I love it. Gives you whiplash a little bit but I enjoy that whiplash.
